A Dilemma [Giveaway Time]

Hi friends! How’s your morning going? The weekend is in sight!

lilly

(LOVE love lilies)

Sorry to those of ya who wanted a better shot of my shoes yesterday! I’m new at posting fashion-y stuff, so I appreciate your feedback… I’m a work in progress 😉 Here ya go:

So, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to blog about today.

It’s been challenging to get back in the routine after being away, and I’ve been munching omelets for dinner.

omelet omelet

So delicious, so easy.

After last night’s omelet, I got inspired…

lemon

and made some Meyer Lemon Lavender Macaroons 🙂

They’re just like my classic blonde macaroons, with refreshing, sweet citrus, and a fragrant lavender aroma.

roons

But the thing is, there are way too many of them.

roons (2)

My roomies and I could eat them all, but that would be no fun 😉

Want some?

Just leave a comment with your spring fitness goal and I’ll be happy to send some along to one lucky winner. I’ll choose the future roon-holder tomorrow (Friday) am when I wake up 🙂 [Everyone can enter- one of my last giveaway winners was in England!]

Off to work I go. See ya this afternoon! <3

xoxo

  2. Kate on March 3, 2011 at 12:02 pm

My spring time goal is to up the miles for running! I moved almost a year ago for work and the stress of living in a new town and starting a new job derailed my activity for a bit but I’m slowly making a comeback!

  3. Melissa W. on March 3, 2011 at 12:03 pm

  12. Erica on March 3, 2011 at 12:11 pm

My spring fitness goal is to fit in 3 workouts a week during tax season. Being an accountant during “busy season” is rough! 12+ hour work days plus working on the weekends, ouch. Thats why my goals is to find a way to fit in my fitness. I have to stay healthy – physically and mentally. 😉

My spring fitness goal is to lose 15 pounds and run a second 5k!

  14. HannahMarie on March 3, 2011 at 12:13 pm

My spring goal is to have time to workout consistently again! Marathon study sessions for grad school and working make it really hard to always prioritize time for myself, unfortunately…

  15. Marissa on March 3, 2011 at 12:13 pm

My Spring Fitness Goal is to increase my endurance by not relying on just cardio but by incorporating some explosive movement circuits and to eat a cleaner diet (taking hints from you Gina!) but to also not become obsessed again.. Trying to have *Fun* with it. Pick me!!

  16. Lara on March 3, 2011 at 12:14 pm

Those macaroons sound incredible!! I’m crossing my fingers 😀

My fitness goal for this spring is to be consistent! I have been working out and eating clean on and off for two years and I’ve not yet made it a consistent lifestyle. I want to look and feel healthy all the time, not just when I’ve gone through a binge phase and I need to lose a few!

  17. Tara on March 3, 2011 at 12:14 pm

My spring fitness goal is to start my Half Ironman Training plan and stay committed to it!!

  18. Andrea on March 3, 2011 at 12:16 pm

Macarooooooons! I’m dying to win some. I have a couple of spring fitness goals I’m working on. #1 is to be able to do one full, un-assisted chin up by the beginning of April (my trainer is helping me with this one) and #2 is to lose a pant size or two by the time my supervisor at work comes back from maternity leave in mid-May. Woo!

My Spring Fitness goal is to complete my first 5k run and the sign up and and starting training for a half in the fall.

  21. Heather on March 3, 2011 at 12:19 pm

I’d love to share in your bounty of lemon macaroons! My spring goal is to get a more regular fitness routine started.

  22. Katy C. on March 3, 2011 at 12:20 pm

I really want to get back into a regular routine with yoga and swimming, with some dance classes sprinkled in there as well!

  23. Lauren on March 3, 2011 at 12:20 pm

I was a gymnast for 14 years but running was never a strong suit for me, four years later, after three months of training and pushing, I’ll finally compete in my first 5k!

  24. Donna on March 3, 2011 at 12:21 pm

My Spring fitness goal is to run a road race. After developing a stress fracture in my hip two years ago, I gave up on running and have been focused on cycling, which I love, but I’m healed and have been running on the treadmill again, to round out my cycling workouts. It’s still too snowy/icy here in Massachusetts for me to run outside yet, but I’m hoping to get out there soon and to run a race on April 10th. This is the same road race I was training for when I was diagnosed with the stress fracture.

  25. Michelle Young on March 3, 2011 at 12:22 pm

Hmmm. My spring fitness goal: Mix things up a bit. I have been lacking a bit in the motivation department. I still workout, but find myself justifying not pushing myself or increasing endurance, etc. I don’t post comments often (I feel super lame posting one now on a giveaway), but I really have enjoyed your blog and find you inspiring. You really achieve your goals despite any obstacles you come across. Thanks for posting.

  26. Diane on March 3, 2011 at 12:22 pm

My spring fitness goal is to finish the 12 weeks of Body for Life! I’m on week 4 now.

  27. Laura on March 3, 2011 at 12:24 pm

It’s my second semester senior year of college and my fitness goal is to get “passes” in both of my PE classes! 😀 I’m taking beginning swimming and Pilates and loving both. Another goal is to get surgery for the compartment syndrome I’ve got in my legs.

  28. Joyce on March 3, 2011 at 12:24 pm

My spring fitness goal is to increase my strengthening routines along with my cardio. I want to be healthy, fit, and active because I am my happiest when I am fit and healthy. Also, summer bikini season is soon, so I want to be able to look my best in a bikini!

  29. Jessie on March 3, 2011 at 12:25 pm

My spring fitness goal is just to be more active. It would be nice to tone up and get some definition to my muscles too.

  30. Anna on March 3, 2011 at 12:25 pm

spring fitness goal = bring my yoga practice back to where it used to be!

  31. Kathy on March 3, 2011 at 12:25 pm

My spring fitness goal is to get back into yoga more! It always feels so good afterwards but I never seem to be able to get myself to do it!

  32. Cindy on March 3, 2011 at 12:25 pm

My spring fitness goal is to incorporate at least 3 days of strength/weight training a week! It’s important to build that muscle and maintain it! : )

  33. Tania on March 3, 2011 at 12:26 pm

to look darn awesome in a seriously slim fitting bridesmaid dress for a friends upcoming wedding…lots of cardio for me this spring!!

  34. Tristan on March 3, 2011 at 12:26 pm

My spring fitness goal is to run my first half marathon! I’m training hard and it’s painful, but I’m going to do it 🙂

  35. Mary (What's Cookin' with Mary) on March 3, 2011 at 12:26 pm

    I NEED THOSE SHOES!

My spring fitness goal is to make sure that I’m getting more varried workouts (and more stregth training!). I spend almost all of Feb recovering from an inflamed SI joint. Methinks it was bc I was doing too many high intensity days in a row (and lacked enough stretching, too). Not everyday can be ‘the hardest I can go’. Seems like an odd goal, but it’s my goal. ;D

  36. Laura on March 3, 2011 at 12:27 pm

I’ve been on a workout haitus for health reasons, so my spring fitness goal is to start back up slowly, spend as much time outside in the fresh air and try new things!!

  37. Emily on March 3, 2011 at 12:27 pm

My major spring fitness goal is twofold: get my bike tuned up and take some long rides along the beach; and get my husband outside with me! It’s been too long since we’ve been hiking or biking together.

    thanks!

  38. Kat on March 3, 2011 at 12:28 pm

My spring fitness goal is to spend more time outside and to start running.

  39. Dani Haigh on March 3, 2011 at 12:28 pm

Beat last year’s time in a 10 mile race in April! AND get my leg’s looking like they used to in my soccer playing days!

PS- bangin’ sandals. I will be visiting Aldo in search of spring footwear- thanks!

  40. Rhiannon on March 3, 2011 at 12:29 pm

My Spring Fitness Goal(s) are to keep on truckin’ and tone up!! I started hitting the gym over the winter on the elliptical and bike and really focused on ab workouts. Now that swimsuit weather is in sight, I can’t wait to hit the pavement and start running outside and get on the bike again. Your blog has inspired me so much to stick with it and eat healthier. I’m hoping that I’ll be in the best shape of my life this summer 🙂 Thank you, Gina!

  41. rachel on March 3, 2011 at 12:29 pm

i want to get back into running outside!

  42. Lisa on March 3, 2011 at 12:29 pm

Spring = time to get back in shape! All the rain and cold weather has made me want to stay in bed in the AM and snuggle on the couch at night.

  43. Danielle on March 3, 2011 at 12:29 pm

My spring fitness goal is to keep Zumba-ing my booty off (and become certified to teach!) and to keep eating intuitively 🙂

  44. Meg T on March 3, 2011 at 12:30 pm

My current spring fitness goal is to figure out how to make my running injury better and get healthy and running again.

  45. Sara on March 3, 2011 at 12:30 pm

I’m going to train for my first open water swim and work on speed. More track work outs!

  46. Deborah on March 3, 2011 at 12:30 pm

My spring fitness goal is to step out of my regular fitness schedule and try something new! I’m a swimmer that loveslovesLOVES pool time, but I want to be able to try starting up something new that will not only benefit my health, but open my fitness “taste buds” to an activity I’ll be proud to share with my friends, family, and possibly future grandkids, haha!

  47. Laura on March 3, 2011 at 12:30 pm

I have been working on doing chin ups for a while now. I can’t do even one yet but I’m getting closer!

  48. Holly on March 3, 2011 at 12:31 pm

My spring fitness goal is to run a 10k race. I am an on and off runner, but the idea of participating in a race and feeding off the energy makes me want to do it so much more! Plus, the hard work and dedication put into training will pay off when I cross that finish line.

PS. Have you ever noticed that little smiley face at the end of your copy right info at the bottom of the page? I’m probably not the first one to see this, but it’s so cute! 😛

  49. Stephanie on March 3, 2011 at 12:31 pm

My spring fitness goal is to finish my first Half Marathon this weekend!! Then I have to take some time off to heal my tendonopathy… booo!! I want some of your famous roons! 🙂
