Hi friends! Howโ€™s your morning going? The weekend is in sight!

lilly

(LOVE love lilies)

Sorry to those of ya who wanted a better shot of my shoes yesterday! Iโ€™m new at posting fashion-y stuff, so I appreciate your feedbackโ€ฆ Iโ€™m a work in progress ๐Ÿ˜‰ Here ya go:

So, I wasnโ€™t quite sure what I was going to blog about today.

Itโ€™s been challenging to get back in the routine after being away, and Iโ€™ve been munching omelets for dinner.

omelet omelet

So delicious, so easy.

After last nightโ€™s omelet, I got inspiredโ€ฆ

lemon

and made some Meyer Lemon Lavender Macaroons ๐Ÿ™‚

Theyโ€™re just like my classic blonde macaroons, with refreshing, sweet citrus, and a fragrant lavender aroma.

roons

But the thing is, there are way too many of them.

roons (2)

My roomies and I could eat them all, but that would be no fun ๐Ÿ˜‰

Want some?

Just leave a comment with your spring fitness goal and Iโ€™ll be happy to send some along to one lucky winner. Iโ€™ll choose the future roon-holder tomorrow (Friday) am when I wake up ๐Ÿ™‚ [Everyone can enter- one of my last giveaway winners was in England!]

Off to work I go. See ya this afternoon! <3

xoxo

Get more flexible. This former dancer can barely touch her toes!

  2. Jennifer on March 3, 2011 at 12:32 pm

My spring fitness goal is to run 5 miles without my legs giving out! It’s been chilly where I live and I almost fell off my treadmill at mile 4 because my legs weren’t happy. I guess that includes leg strengthening?

  3. Ashley E. on March 3, 2011 at 12:33 pm

My spring fitness goal is to be more consistent with strength training…some weeks I’ll train 3 times a week and others I completely skip! I want to tone up a little more so I’m going to hit the weight room more often!

  4. Kelly on March 3, 2011 at 12:34 pm

My spring fitness goal is to do some sort of workout three times a week!

My Spring fitness goal is to get back on track with my health overall! I have been having some asthma problems since the beginning of the year so I’m working towards getting on track and really sticking to clean eating. I also want to try yoga…I never have!

  8. Nicole on March 3, 2011 at 12:36 pm

I have 2 spring fitness goals. One is to PR my third half marathon (but first one I’m running solo) as well as do Jillian’s 30 day shred for 30 straight days (just for fun ;))!

  9. nicole on March 3, 2011 at 12:36 pm

I have a couple of spring fitness goals. First I want to rock the LA marathon on March 20, and then once that is over I want to get into yoga. I took yoga classes in college but haven’t done any since, so I’ll probably just buy a DVD and try to do it a couple of times a week. Yay for spring!

  10. Bree on March 3, 2011 at 12:36 pm

My goal is to tone up my arms, shoulders, and back for my upcoming wedding!

My goal is to incorporate a variety of different foods into my diet. I tend to stick with the same all the time and I know even though they’re healthy for my body, I need to give it different nutrients in different forms. I also think I should start with macaroons ๐Ÿ˜‰

  22. Ali on March 3, 2011 at 12:41 pm

My spring fitness goal is to get back into weight lifting. I used to do it all the time in high school, now that I’m in grad school I would like to become more consistent at it.

  23. Deirdre on March 3, 2011 at 12:41 pm

My spring fitness goal is to go to the gym in the morning before work. I work out way harder in the morning than after a long, stressful day at work.

  24. Teresa on March 3, 2011 at 12:43 pm

My most immediate fitness goal is to continue healing my knee so that I may run one of my favorite races at the end of March. This particular 10K is an awesome course (the views that is, not the hills on miles 5-6) and I just love the race overall. Super fun and a great expo. It’s also the only one I get to enjoy with my parents since there is also a 5K. I really hope all my efforts and attempts at a slow and healing recovery pay off!

    Have a wonderful Day!

  25. Min on March 3, 2011 at 12:44 pm

    Ooh so fun!
    I want to run a 5k distance.
and get in shape/feel my best/manage my STRESS for my wedding this summer!

My spring fitness goal is to incorporate more relaxing workouts (yoga, stretching, meditation) into my current schedule. I always feel like I have to be running, sore, sweating and exhausted to have gotten a “real workout” but never take the time to relax and just mellow out and destress. I would like to also incorporate more weights to achieve a leaner tone. In reading this blog and a few others I have realized that yoga and light weight lifting are also key aspects to overall fitness.

  43. Heather on March 3, 2011 at 12:59 pm

My spring fitness goal is to continue listening to what my body wants…instead of what I “should” be doing. Listening your body rules!!!

  45. Casey on March 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm
