Brownie Fruit Pizza
I finally started packing…
This means I have a pile of travel-sized things + Reebok clothes and shoes, ready to be stuffed into a suitcase.
Bella wants to know where we’re going on vacation, and Caro… well, poor Caro is just freaked out from the monsoon storms.
We’re having a little dinner party at our house tonight — the best type to have the night before leaving on a trip: one where you’re not doing the cooking.
Kyle and my Uncle Eric (the pro chefs in the family) are making dinner at our house for everyone. I’m guessing there will be about 15 of us 🙂 I’m not sure what’s on the menu, but word on the street is that ahi tuna and truffle fries are on the menu. Can’t wait!
Some dessert to contribute to the feast:
brownie pizza.
If you’ve ever been to a Pampered Chef party, chances are that you’ve tried brownie or cookie pizza. It’s a festive and refreshing summer dessert, plus you can customize it according to your preferences. The idea is super simple: bottom layer is brownie or cookie (the fancy kind made from a boxed mix), the “sauce” is some kind of cream cheese or pudding mixture, and the toppings are whatever you like: fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, mint, anything goes!
I made the brownie part after breakfast this morning,
and during nap time it was cooled enough to be topped with a whipped cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla mix.
Next, I added slices of fresh fruit,
and made sure cover the banana slices with a bit of lemon juice so they wouldn’t turn brown.
This is an awesome easy party dish, especially since we usually have most of the ingredients on hand.
Liv is starting to stir from her nap, so I’m off. We have a couple of errands to run, then it’s party time. See ya in the morning <3

Mouth is watering. Yum!
This looks so easy to make but I bet my attempt won’t come out looking that good! Definitely very mouth watering!
Oh my goodness, I totally forgot about cookie fruit pizzas! My mom used to work for Pampered Chef several years ago, and we’d have Pampered Chef parties all the time with lots of cookie fruit pizzas involved. 😉 I’m going to have to make one soon! Yum!
I’m pretty sure if I made that, most of my friends would scrape off the pizza part and leave the brownie. Haha! 😉
So fun to see the pups in a post!! I hadn’t realized how much I missed their faces on the blog. It’s been a LONG time without a Bella or Caro sighting. Yay!
Yummm that looks delicious and fresh! Nothing better than a little summer fruit! Your pups are adorable – we haven’t seen them much lately 🙂 So precious!
The fruit pizza is gorgeous, but I’m salivating over the thought of that ahi tuna – you lucky girl, you! 🙂 Safe travels!
yum. i’ve never even heard of fruit pizza before ! but you have my creative juices flowing ! i cant wait to mix up this recipe & try different variations !
thanks for the inspiration 🙂
You can disregard my question on instagram about the frosting 🙂
I’ve only made cookie versions of fruit pizzas but I love this idea so much more (hello, chocolate!)…I definitely need to try it!
I love this idea! So simple and easy to pull together last minute.
Oh man, this looks amazing. That right there is reason to have a party. YUM.
Enjoy the fun family dinner! I need some pro cooks to offer to make dinner for me.
I’ve had cookie pizza at a pampered chef party but have never made it. Not sure why since it is so easy and with the fruit addition… it’s sort of “healthy” too. You know, for a brownie smothered in cream cheese! 🙂
Brownie fruit pizza? I’m trying it! And I like the fact that it is now healthy. Does that mean I can have it for breakfast too? (:
oh man, that looks so good!!
Wow, that needs to be made at my house, like yesterday! 🙂 Have fun in LA
Wow I have never had one of those and it looks like the perfect thing to bring to a dinner party! FEAST 🙂 Thanks for sharing 🙂 love + Shine CourtStar
YUM! The brownie pizza looks delicious! I’ve had a cookie version but never brownie.
What a great and easy dessert – it looks quite fancy for being “out of a box” 😉 . I need to keep that in mind to bring along to the next barbecue.
Oh my Gosh, that looks SO good!! May I come over ? 🙂 Great idea, need to copy that!
I love this for dinner parties! I will definitely be making this soon. Thanks!
Looks so delicious and simple to make! Hope you have an amazing trip! Sounds like it will be a blast!
I saw you post this picture on instagram- and I immediately wanted to make one for myself. Though I don’t have 15 people coming over for dinner, so it would just be me and my fiancee eating it….but that’s ok too 🙂
Thanks for the great idea for dessert!
Fruit pizza is my absolute favorite dessert. I love the mix of thin cookie with fruit. I haven’t had the opportunity to go to a pampered chef party, but if they serve these, I’ll start showing up at every single one!
I’m definitely making the fruit brownie pizza this weekend! <3 YUM!
What a good trick of covering the banana pieces in lemon juice – I will def remember that one!
My chocolate loving kids are going to love this!!
So simple but so delicious! I need to make one of these before the summer is over.
Just came across this recipe and it looks so good. What are the approximate measurements for the frosting you made?
