Well, the lovely people at Cisco are generously donating a Flip Mino HD to a lucky Fitnessista. They’re running a video contest right now called “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”. The grand prize winner of that contest gets $10,000 (pretty baller), if you’re interested in entering.

For your chance to win a free Flip Mino HD right here on the bloggy, all you have to do is:

Leave a comment on this post answering the question “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”

My answer:

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to reach into the screen and borrow Giuliana Rancic’s stylish and classy wardrobe 🙂

“If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”

Turn itself off and tell me to get off the couch!

  2. Maura on June 1, 2010 at 3:50 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would serve as my taxi to work. Just step in and be whisked off to work –no more public transportation!! I definitely think I stole that idea from Harry Potter..minus the fire place. hahaha

  3. Courtney on June 1, 2010 at 3:51 pm

To automatically skip all the commercials!

  4. Michelle on June 1, 2010 at 3:51 pm

“If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”

Deliver Tony Horton right to my door so he could whip me into shape!!!

  5. Katie on June 1, 2010 at 3:54 pm

  6. neen on June 1, 2010 at 3:55 pm

  7. Miriam on June 1, 2010 at 3:56 pm

If my TV could do anything it would have a special button call “sex” : men or woman… and the choice of programs and movies would follow accordingly! 😉 (you bet it would have a tendency to get stuck on “woman” a lot).

  8. Danielle on June 1, 2010 at 3:57 pm

If my TV could do anything, the HGTV channel would jump into my home and get rid of all the clutter that I cannot seem to organize or get rid of from this working mom, dad, 3 year old and 1 year old!!!!!

  9. Julie on June 1, 2010 at 3:58 pm

If my TV could do anything, I would want it to let me smell and taste when I watch Foodnetwork, and give me a 360 degree feeling when I am watching shows such as Survivor or Amazing Race or anything on Discovery.

  10. kim on June 1, 2010 at 4:00 pm

I’d want my tv to filter out all the bad news of the day and medical commercials. After a long day, sometimes flipping through channels and seeing all the bad news and cancer commercials makes me ill. Temporary “light” news and programming filter would be fantastic.

  11. anne on June 1, 2010 at 4:01 pm

If my TV could do anything it would print off recipes from The Food Network for me! I never seem to catch all of the details.

Also wanted to tell you… I read The Five Love Languages a few years ago. It is excellent and really helped improve my marriage. Let us know your thoughts!!

  12. Ashley on June 1, 2010 at 4:02 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would be able to take me to alllll of the places in the shows – especially things like the Discovery Channel and shows like Amazing Race! 🙂

  13. Amanda Bowen on June 1, 2010 at 4:06 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would remind me to do my exercises every day and pester me if I didn’t. Oh, and have a healthy dinner ready for me every evening!

  14. Jessie on June 1, 2010 at 4:06 pm

If my TV could do anything it would let me travel to any place I see on the travel or food network with a click of a button!!

  15. Lea on June 1, 2010 at 4:07 pm

If my tv could do anything, that hottie on tv will be mine.

  16. Kim on June 1, 2010 at 4:08 pm

Oh man… I like your thought – steal a cute wardrobe, taste food on the cooking shows, walk over to Italy on the travel shows…

  17. meg on June 1, 2010 at 4:08 pm

If my tv could do anything it would skip commercials and always have my favourite shows on

  18. Melissa Cari @ Miles for Markets on June 1, 2010 at 4:10 pm

I’d want it to be voice activated so I never have to deal with a remote! The remotes these days are insane. It still takes me a few seconds to figure out how to change the channel.

  19. katelyn on June 1, 2010 at 4:14 pm

Turn off and get me off the couch!

  20. Emily on June 1, 2010 at 4:16 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would make some popcorn, dim the lights, and always have the perfect movie on that I wanted to see…with no commercials!

  21. Jen M on June 1, 2010 at 4:18 pm

If my TV could do anything I would be able to change the channel (or turn the dial) and the food I wanted would pop on the screen all ready for me to reach in, grab it and chow down. Kind of like that machine the had on Star Trek.

  22. laura on June 1, 2010 at 4:19 pm

if my tv could do anything, i would want it to immediately transport me to those wonderful, gorgeous locations they shoot at on the bachelor/bachelorette. they always go to the most amazing places!

  23. Diane on June 1, 2010 at 4:21 pm

If my TV could do anything I would want it to disappear when my husband or I needed to talk. It always seems to interrupt our conversations!

  24. Ashley on June 1, 2010 at 4:21 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would let me use the Jack LaLanne juicer and Zumba DVDs whenever I want, for FREE! I am dying to own both of these items!

I really needt his camera!! My camera died about a month ago and I just don’t have the funds to buy another…My kids are 3 and 6 years old and I haven’t been able to video their latest accoplishments (Kindergarten Grad, Pre-school Program, and Dance recital)..:( I really hope I win, it would be such a blessing!

  25. Alicia on June 1, 2010 at 4:23 pm

If my TV could do anything I would want it to always edit all commercials, keep the volume appropriate, and find the right show for the mood I’m in!

  26. Ilana on June 1, 2010 at 4:25 pm

Ok, I don’t have a TV but I can still enter, right??! I have literally dreamed about this since I was a child. It might not be very creative since the idea came straight from the pages of Willy Wonka, but seriously, if my TV could do anything, it would have Wonkavision – aka every time I’m watching the Food Network or a chocolate commercial came on, I’d be able to eat it. And smell it. And everything. You know. Imagine, like, Ina Garten is making one of her fabulous omelettes and she just turns and offers it to the viewer and you can reach in and have an Ina omelette! I’ve actually had serious dreams about this and wake up disappointed when I realize, no, chocolate doesn’t come from TV. Bah. Where is Willy Wonka when we need him!?

  27. Mary McDermott on June 1, 2010 at 4:25 pm

I would like my TV to give me a makeover.

  28. Shevanne Brown on June 1, 2010 at 4:25 pm

“If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”
It would yell back at me everytime i decided to yell at it during football season

  29. Amy M on June 1, 2010 at 4:28 pm

If my tv could do anything I would like to go into some of the retro sitcoms for a day. 🙂

  30. April Blake on June 1, 2010 at 4:29 pm

If my t.v. could do anything, it would allow me to skip ahead to next week’s episode of my favorite shows. I hate it when I have to wait a whole week to see what happens next.

  31. Kim on June 1, 2010 at 4:32 pm

If my TV could do anything – it would have a channel playing zumba routines from around the world!

  32. Nicole @ Making Good Choices on June 1, 2010 at 4:37 pm

If my tv could do anything I would be able to jump into the television when I see beautiful vacations on tv so I could just go there!

  33. catherine on June 1, 2010 at 4:39 pm

If I could get my TV to do anything….I would definitely have it take me to NYC (via Real Housewives of New York on Bravo!, Selling NY on HGTV, etc. – yes, I have embarrassing TV show taste). I’m stuck in Little Rock, AR (thanks a lot, United States Air Force – haha) and I miss living in (or even near) a city. I miss the people, the energy and the food. TV – please take me there!

  34. christina cadden on June 1, 2010 at 4:40 pm

I think if my tv could do anything then when I see the cooking channels and all the meals it would make my meals for me!

  35. ari on June 1, 2010 at 4:42 pm

Teleport me home when I want to be home! Like at the end of vacation, so I don’t have to take my flight, or when I’m far away and I don’t feel like taking the train.

  36. Ramisa on June 1, 2010 at 4:43 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would allow Gilad to jump out and fix my posture and stance!

  40. Natalie on June 1, 2010 at 4:48 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would suck me into the program I was watching and I could experience whatever was going on! This way I could cook with the best chefs, workout with top trainers, travel, shop with the Sex and the City girls, and attend Red Carpet events:) FUN!

WOW… The things I wish my TV could do!!! I wish my television could take me places! Any place that is on the screen that i want to go… BAM… I am there =) … (even antartica with the penguins, so long as i get to put on winter wear first!)

  44. Kayla B on June 1, 2010 at 4:55 pm

If my TV could do anything I would want to go to work at The Office and hang out with Jim, Pam and play pranks on Dwight.

  45. Katherine on June 1, 2010 at 4:58 pm

I wish my TV could take me to all the yummy restaurants I see on the food network, so I could be there eating the food with them:))

  46. Bonnie on June 1, 2010 at 5:02 pm

  47. Robin on June 1, 2010 at 5:04 pm

I wish my TV would read my mind and have the exact show on that I would want to watch even if I didn’t know myself…although TV is few and far between for me these days….new baby in the house!

  48. Rachel on June 1, 2010 at 5:05 pm

(foreword: This is for the tvs on the treadmills and ellipticals at the gym). If my tv could do anything I would want it to be able to have a dvr too that way I wouldn’t have to be lazy and sit on my couch while I catch up on all my shows, I could watch them at the gym!

  49. hannah on June 1, 2010 at 5:07 pm
