-We planted our little garden

and

enjoyed a lovely date night

Last night, the pilot finally got the shrimp and prosciutto penne pasta he’d been hankering for:

Recipe is in *this cookbook*

I rolled with spelt pasta, olive oil, garlic, basil and tomato

spelt pasta

and we both had salads with roasted beet, onion, goat cheese and balsamic

salad

A perfect little meal 🙂

dinner

We chilled at the casa, I coerced the pilot to watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (best movie EVERRRR, even with his snide commentary haha) and we called it a night 🙂

The plan for today is:

-3 training appointments

-Weights (upper body)

-Post office

-Clean downstairs

-Make raw strawberry tart for Thurs night girl’s night

-Insanity

-Back to work

Before I go…

here’s that giveaway I’ve been hinting at 😉

Remember my Christmas gift from the pilot??

flip

That would be a Flip cam.. and I’m in love with it 🙂

Well, the lovely people at Cisco are generously donating a Flip Mino HD to a lucky Fitnessista. They’re running a video contest right now called “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”. The grand prize winner of that contest gets $10,000 (pretty baller), if you’re interested in entering.

For your chance to win a free Flip Mino HD right here on the bloggy, all you have to do is:

Leave a comment on this post answering the question “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”

My answer:

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to reach into the screen and borrow Giuliana Rancic’s stylish and classy wardrobe 🙂

If my tv could do anything, it would …

    (a) turn itself off when I’ve watched too much
    (b) be an eat-o-vision … hello Food TV!
    (c) teleport me to whatever exotic location I was watching

I want a lot from my tv!

  2. Kristin E on June 1, 2010 at 9:19 am

If my TV would let me do anything, I could grab all the wonderful food prepared on food network and have a wonderful feast every day!

  3. Laura on June 1, 2010 at 9:20 am

I watch a lot of Food Network, so I would love to be able to jump through the TV and see the actual cooking process up close. I also would love to be able to smell the dishes, or yell at the chefs to use more healthy ingredients!

No more butter Rachel Ray, no more butter!!!

  4. Danielle on June 1, 2010 at 9:20 am

If my tv could do anything, it would fix that flippin’ oil spill in the Gulf because I’m so disheartened each time I see the coverage of it and all the environmental impacts it’s causing.

  7. Beth @ Beth's Journey to Thin on June 1, 2010 at 9:22 am

If my TV could do anything, the food on Top Chef and Iron Chef would be real and I could reach in to try it along with the judges!!

  8. Laura on June 1, 2010 at 9:25 am

I actually don’t have a TV, but if I did, I’d like one that would beep loudly after an hour of watching. That way I wouldn’t sit too long in front of it ; ).

  9. Jessie on June 1, 2010 at 9:30 am

If my TV could do anything, it would incorporate very effective subliminal messages of all of my notes on the kidneys into episodes of True Blood so that I could watch and enjoy AND learn everything I need to, instead of studying the day away!

  10. Jacqui on June 1, 2010 at 9:30 am

I wish my tv had smellovision so I would be able to smell what everyone on the Food Network was cooking. I would then need tastovision if what they were making was something I wanted to try!! Thanks for the opportunity!!!

It would def. be the smell-o-vision and Taste-o-vision while watching the food network. Or to jump in and be a part of a show… then jump out. Ya know, scary movies jump in and say “NOO don’t go in there, go home!” lol or in a love movie, “He loves you! just go for it!!!”
