A perfect little meal 🙂

We chilled at the casa, I coerced the pilot to watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (best movie EVERRRR, even with his snide commentary haha) and we called it a night 🙂

The plan for today is:

-3 training appointments

-Weights (upper body)

-Post office

-Clean downstairs

-Make raw strawberry tart for Thurs night girl’s night

-Insanity

-Back to work

Before I go…

here’s that giveaway I’ve been hinting at 😉

Remember my Christmas gift from the pilot??

flip

That would be a Flip cam.. and I’m in love with it 🙂

Well, the lovely people at Cisco are generously donating a Flip Mino HD to a lucky Fitnessista. They’re running a video contest right now called “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”. The grand prize winner of that contest gets $10,000 (pretty baller), if you’re interested in entering.

For your chance to win a free Flip Mino HD right here on the bloggy, all you have to do is:

Leave a comment on this post answering the question “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”

My answer:

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to reach into the screen and borrow Giuliana Rancic’s stylish and classy wardrobe 🙂

If my TV could do anything, I would want it to never work so I have to find something else to do like spend time with my family, workout, read, or build better relationships with others.

  3. Melody on June 1, 2010 at 10:20 am

  7. Megan on June 1, 2010 at 10:24 am

If my TV could do anything, I would like it to be able to play whatever TV show or movie I’m in the mood for– kinda like Pandora– and maybe even suggest other shows that I might like, too!

  8. Emily on June 1, 2010 at 10:25 am

If my tv could do anything…. how about interactive work out shows!? You could ask qsts or get tips on form.

  9. Kathryn on June 1, 2010 at 10:25 am

It would be amazing if I could jump into any show and participate (work out with people, eat stuff on food network, travel w/the travel channel)…fabulous!

  10. Dani on June 1, 2010 at 10:25 am

I want my TV to be touchscreen!! After so many touch phones, iPods, iPads, sometimes I try to use my finger on the monitor. One day it will happen 🙂

  11. Elizabeth on June 1, 2010 at 10:25 am

I’d like my tv to bring together all of my friends (from different parts of the country) so that we could watch our favorite shows together.

  12. Casey on June 1, 2010 at 10:25 am

If my TV could do anything…it would watch the shows for me! Haha, I like some shows but usually view watching them as a burden or an obligation. Twisted, I know 🙂

If my TV could do anything, I would want it to let me climb into the travel channel and experience first hand all the awesome places on Earth.

  16. Kelly on June 1, 2010 at 10:27 am

I’d like my TV to replay all the most beautiful events from my past that aren’t photographed or recorded, especially the hazy memories of family members who died when I was a child and I barely remember anymore.

  17. Erin on June 1, 2010 at 10:27 am

Jump through the screen into a Travel Channel destination. 😉

  18. Stacey on June 1, 2010 at 10:28 am

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to change channels with my MIND. The remote control in my room has been broken for a while, and I have to get out of bed to change the channels!

  19. Beth on June 1, 2010 at 10:28 am

If my TV could do anything… it would block all commercials and shows with negative “body-loathing” messages that don’t promote a healthy lifestyle. (like diet pills!) While it’s at it – would be great to get rid of all the fast-food commercials as well!

  20. Lindsay on June 1, 2010 at 10:28 am

It would allow me to use its remote to fast forward, rewind or pause my life.

  21. Tasha on June 1, 2010 at 10:28 am

Wow how neat! I would want my TV to be able to have Smellavision!

  22. Kelly Michelle on June 1, 2010 at 10:30 am

I would be able to watch anything other than dvds! I can’t afford cable right now and the converter box won’t work so I don’t get local channels either!

  23. Beth S. on June 1, 2010 at 10:30 am

If my TV could do anything it would:
    A. Send me candy like in Willy Wanka
    B. Write my thesis for me
    C. Automatically know what I want to watch

  24. Rachel on June 1, 2010 at 10:30 am

I wish my TV would turn off automatically when I need to get off the couch and get moving or go to bed. I always get hooked on the next show!

  25. Heather (Heather's Dish) on June 1, 2010 at 10:30 am

first of all…where do you get your spelt and mung bean pastas? i’d love to try them but can’t find them anywhere!

if my TV could do anything i would want to smell and reach through the screen to taste anything that Ina Garten or Giada De Laurentiis makes 🙂

  26. Heather @ get healthy with Heather on June 1, 2010 at 10:30 am

  27. Angie on June 1, 2010 at 10:31 am

  28. jenny in new york on June 1, 2010 at 10:31 am

I wish I could reach into my TV and pull out Uncle Jesse from full house. So dreamy 😉 haha

  29. Moran (The Hot and Fit) on June 1, 2010 at 10:31 am

To let me jump in in the middle of a scene in one of my favourite telenovelas where the protagonist is being an idiot and I can be like “hhhmmm you fool they/she/he is/are lying!”

  30. Patty on June 1, 2010 at 10:33 am

My television would take me around the world with Anthony Bourdain (and then it would assist me to marry Tom Selleck. Greedy, I know)

  31. mary ann on June 1, 2010 at 10:34 am

Ifmy TV could do anything, I dont think it would be considered a TV anymore!! Because I would want it to be more robotic and make me the food on the cooking channels and let me chat live with the actors (ahem, bitchslap Spencer much?! and I dont even watch that show!).
    MA

  32. Deanna on June 1, 2010 at 10:34 am

Step in and go to all the cool places I watch on it 🙂

  33. Jessica on June 1, 2010 at 10:34 am

My tv would use all those nifty cleaning product commercials and clean my apartment while I’m out of the house. Such a dream!

  34. Astrid on June 1, 2010 at 10:34 am

  38. Kelly F. on June 1, 2010 at 10:35 am

I always wish my TV could teletransport me to wherever I want to go…Paris for dinner, shopping in Rome, my parents’ house too many states away…

  39. Sri on June 1, 2010 at 10:35 am

I’d like my tv to be playing my favorite sitcoms all the time! And a netflix like recommendation engine for new shows!

  40. Liz on June 1, 2010 at 10:36 am

If my TV could do anything it would put me in platinum weddings to have the perfect wedding!

  41. Erin on June 1, 2010 at 10:36 am

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to borrow anything from Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe so I could look stylish while being Bobby Flay’s new helper/taste-tester for his Throwdowns. 🙂

  42. Elizabeth on June 1, 2010 at 10:37 am

If my TV could do anything, I wish it would automatically shut off if I’ve been aimlessly surfing the channels for 30 minutes.

  43. Cassie @ A Very Busy Mind on June 1, 2010 at 10:38 am

Dude, this IS a flippin’ awesome giveaway!

If my TV could do anything, I’d want it to FIND ME A JOB! (One track mind right now. :))

  44. Gwen on June 1, 2010 at 10:40 am

If my TV could do anything, I’d want it to give me a swift kick in the tush out the door to workout every AM, of course promising to be waiting for me to come home and cuddle after!

  45. Nicole B. on June 1, 2010 at 10:40 am

Would love if all my tv shows were “on demand.” We only pay for basic cable so don’t have dvr, etc. I hate being tied to the tv because there is show I want to watch (hello, RHONJ). Love the On-Demand feature but wish it offered more selection.

  46. Lauren S. on June 1, 2010 at 10:40 am

If my TV could do anything I would be able to step into it and visit all the wonderful places on the Travel Channel amongst others. I would save a bundle on airfare while seeing amazing places around the world.

  47. Cynthia on June 1, 2010 at 10:41 am

If my TV could do anything it would have to be a complete movie on demand system. I think it would be great if tv’s had an internal hard drive through which an individual could download films and save them to the tv, rather than having to store dvd’s and vhs tapes. I hate storing all those cases!

  48. Laura on June 1, 2010 at 10:43 am

If my TV could do anything, it would let me peek in on my husband, who is deployed, to make sure he is sleeping ok. I miss watching him sleep…

  49. Grace M on June 1, 2010 at 10:43 am

If my TV could do anything it would let me time travel – like show me how things in history really happened 🙂

  50. Destiny on June 1, 2010 at 10:44 am

If my tv could do anything for me, i would want it to plan my workouts and rotate them for me according to what i need to be worked out in, like my own personal trainer!! 🙂
