FLIPpin’ Awesome Giveaway

Hey everyone! How’s your morning going?? If you enjoyed a long weekend (yeahhhhh), here on some things that went down on the bloggy:

Summer Shape Up Week 2 Workout went up!

-We planted our little garden

and

enjoyed a lovely date night

Last night, the pilot finally got the shrimp and prosciutto penne pasta he’d been hankering for:

shrimp pasta

Recipe is in *this cookbook*

I rolled with spelt pasta, olive oil, garlic, basil and tomato

spelt pasta

and we both had salads with roasted beet, onion, goat cheese and balsamic

salad

A perfect little meal 🙂

dinner

We chilled at the casa, I coerced the pilot to watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (best movie EVERRRR, even with his snide commentary haha) and we called it a night 🙂

The plan for today is:

-3 training appointments

-Weights (upper body)

-Post office

-Clean downstairs

-Make raw strawberry tart for Thurs night girl’s night

-Insanity

-Back to work

Before I go…

here’s that giveaway I’ve been hinting at 😉

Remember my Christmas gift from the pilot??

flip

That would be a Flip cam.. and I’m in love with it 🙂

Well, the lovely people at Cisco are generously donating a Flip Mino HD to a lucky Fitnessista. They’re running a video contest right now called “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”. The grand prize winner of that contest gets $10,000 (pretty baller), if you’re interested in entering.

For your chance to win a free Flip Mino HD right here on the bloggy, all you have to do is:

Leave a comment on this post answering the question “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”

My answer:

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to reach into the screen and borrow Giuliana Rancic’s stylish and classy wardrobe 🙂

Winner will be chosen tonight (6/1) at midnight EST.

Ready…. set…… GO!

See ya with a *real* post this afternoon 🙂

Gina

If my TV could do anything,

I would have it be my own personal trainer! It could jump up and down and tell me when to switch exercises, be my personal motivator and spotter! every time i put in a workout DVD it would tailor to that specific one! So if i was doing Insanity, i would have a lifestyle TV jumping around with me looking like Shaun T and that beautiful beautiful grin 🙂

    Gina you are amazing

and my boyfriend and i are planning out our dream vacation to Sandals Resort St Lucia!!!! You guys inspired us to do it 😉

  3. Jaclyn on June 1, 2010 at 1:44 pm

I would love it if my tv was capable of taking me places after a long day of work. I could come home and pick Hawaii and it would show me the beach and the waves and the food would look so real I would want to reach out and touch it. I think of those huge theatres at amusement parks where it feels like you are really flying over tree tops. I want to be able to choose a new place rather than watch the same dvd over and over.

  6. Jessica on June 1, 2010 at 1:48 pm

If my tv could do anything it would not show any baseball so I could have my husband back!

If my tv could do anything it would enable me to jump through the screen to participate in whatever is going on! Workout on Biggest Loser with Jillian Michaels? Sure! Sing with the Glee club? Sure! Have Bobby Flay cook for me? Sure! African safari on the Discovery channel? Sure!

Obviously I’m dreaming big here. 😉

If my tv could do anything, it would most definitely provide a fabulous soundtrack to my life! The violins would start when I’m sad, the polka music when I’m happy, Lady Gaga when I felt a little crazy, and maybe even a little bow chicka bow wow when it was just me and my sailor. 🙂

WOW-what a great giveaway and looks like EVERYONE wants a Flip Cam. If my TV could do anything I would like to grab the incredibly good looking guys from movies and TV shows and just see what they are really like in person. I always fall in love with the characters and would love to know what they are like in real life. I guess the same goes for actresses I admire. I would just love to have dinner with them. Side note-I used to work with Giuliana at E! and the wardrobe room was insane…tons of amazing clothes!
