{Giveaway} Dehydration Station

Hiiiiii 😀 Happy Indian Food Wednesday! How’s your day going?

I’m so glad you guys liked the video I posted last night– pretty amazeballz, huh? I also LOVED reading about your pets’ nicknames. Glad we’re not the only weirdos out there 😉

(check out that LEG sticking out! She’s so funny)

We just got back from this morning’s 30 minute walk, and also went to the dog park (DP) so Bella could chase her friends around and collapse in the dirt.

B-fast for the Pilot:

pilot

(Sourdough English muffin with sundried tomato goat cheese, organic turkey, an over easy egg on each side, and 1/2 avocado with berries)

Perfect protein pancakes for me:

pancakes

BANANA SPLIT protein pancakes with a square of dark chocolate, 1/2 banana, organic strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Yes, yes, yesssssssssssssss <—-foodgasm

So I wanted to say a little “thank you” for being so lovely and supportive since the Pilot has been home, with house hunting and life in general, so I asked my friends at OpenSky if we could do a lil giveaway.

When I picked the item, I wanted it to be something I use all the time and LOVE, so it was really an easy choice.

I already follow on Open Sky.

I would love to make raw crackers, kale chips, dried fruit, raw granola, and macaroons 🙂
I also want to try to make raw bagels. This raw food restaurant near where I live makes them and they taste kind of like cinnamon raisin bagels, except less fluffy doughy and more crunchy. The texture is not bagel-like at all, but somehow they managed to get the flavor in there and I want to try it out!

  44. stacey w. on April 6, 2011 at 5:28 pm

I would make rooms! Im dying to try them and keep hoping I will win one of the giveaways!

I’d love to make actual healthy fruit snacks for daughter’s lunches, not the packaged with additional sugars and preservatives, I wouldn’t mind too much if she decided to share. 😉

  48. Gina on April 6, 2011 at 5:28 pm

I already follow you. Gee that sounds creepy. I’m sure you know what I mean 🙂

First thing I would make in a dehydrator is kale chips only because I’ve tried in the oven and have produced many epic fails. It’s embarrassing really.

  49. Sara on April 6, 2011 at 5:29 pm

I would dehydrate mangoes and kiwis! So delicious.

  50. Alex on April 6, 2011 at 5:29 pm

Awesome giveaway too. I would have to say I’d make a hearty batch of granola if I owned this bad boy!
