{Giveaway} Dehydration Station
Hiiiiii 😀 Happy Indian Food Wednesday! How’s your day going?
I’m so glad you guys liked the video I posted last night– pretty amazeballz, huh? I also LOVED reading about your pets’ nicknames. Glad we’re not the only weirdos out there 😉
(check out that LEG sticking out! She’s so funny)
We just got back from this morning’s 30 minute walk, and also went to the dog park (DP) so Bella could chase her friends around and collapse in the dirt.
B-fast for the Pilot:
(Sourdough English muffin with sundried tomato goat cheese, organic turkey, an over easy egg on each side, and 1/2 avocado with berries)
Perfect protein pancakes for me:
BANANA SPLIT protein pancakes with a square of dark chocolate, 1/2 banana, organic strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Yes, yes, yesssssssssssssss <—-foodgasm
So I wanted to say a little “thank you” for being so lovely and supportive since the Pilot has been home, with house hunting and life in general, so I asked my friends at OpenSky if we could do a lil giveaway.
When I picked the item, I wanted it to be something I use all the time and LOVE, so it was really an easy choice.
Want a dehydrator??
I use mine almost every day to make my all-time favorite snacks and treats.
From kale chips:
Raw breads and crackers
Dried fruit, fruit leather and veggie chips
Fancy stuff like raw tarts and pastries
and of course, ROONS 😀
Here’s how to enter:
1. Enter your email in the box below to receive my OpenSky promos:
(We send out one email promo each week which features one of my favorite products, like Sun Warrior, Garlic Gold, foam rollers, raw treats, beauty products, etc. Tomorrow’s promo is for a goat’s milk soap that I’m obsessed with. We don’t spam ya with more than one email per week and the deals are always the best price you’ll find on the web)
*Current followers will be entered, too 🙂
2. Leave a comment to let me know what you’d make first in your new dehydrator!
One lucky winner will be chosen on Monday (4/11) and will also receive an email with my favorite raw recipes to get them started 🙂
I’m off to do the work thang!
Have a lovely day and I’ll see ya later with “Things I Didn’t Know About the Pilot” 😉
xoxo
Gina
I would LOVE to play with a dehydrator. Those kale chips look great 🙂
I am totally obsessed with Kale chips right now! That would definitely be 1st on my list.
OMG!!!!! I was going to ask for this for my B-day, (but then i thought dorky, not personal enough!) However I wish now that I had asked for one! I would sooo make Kale Chips and those roons you make! Yummer! Thanks!
I would love to *try* to make tasty roons just like yours!!
I’m already signed up for the mailing list- woo!! I’d make something sweet. Maybe fruit chips??
My own dried mango. I buy in it bulk right now…I think it would probably save money, and plastic…and therefore the environment. And probably 500 million other things, such as roons.
dehydrated fruits and kale chips, of course! 🙂 we used to have a dehydrator growing up, but i think that was before they perfected the modern system.
I already follow you as well! I would love to apple chips and macaroons would be amazing! yummm! 🙂
Everythingggg but kale chips, macaroons and granola would probably be first on the list
Kiwi…I can never find it without added sugar.
OMG the question is what wouldn’t I make… I’d dry out all my favorite fruits… I would make my veggie bread… kale chips… sunflower bread… it would never end.. and it would be fabulous!
Oh this is a fancy giveaway! I would definitely tackle the roons and crackers. This would definitely make me have to buy the food processor!
What a super duper giveaway!!! I have to say my first use for the dehydrator will be veggie chips as they are uber expensive at the story and a great way to use up veggies!
Dried fruit!!
Kale chips!!!
Kale chips!! My attempts at making them in the oven have been less than successful — lots of charred little piles 🙁 I’d then munch on my new and improved kale crispies while attempting to replicate your gorgeous ‘roons!!
I kid you not, I was just thinking last night how I would love a dehydrator!?! First i would do banana chips because I love them so much! Homemade are TONS better than the ones from the store. Then I would make yam and sweet potato chips! Mmmm! Yes please! Okay, now you got me going, I can think of like a million more things I need to make. 🙂
All your recipes looks delicious!
I think I’d go for some raw kale chips, then some macaroons to balance them out 🙂

Kale chips and I would like to try parsnip chips- yum!!
OOOO!! !I Want a dehydrator!!!
Gosh, it would be so hard to make a decision between the kale chips and the roons. I think the roons would win out for what I would make first, but there wouldn’t be much down time before I had some kale chips a cookin’!!
I have read your blog for over a year now, and absolutely love everything you have to say. I have modeled several meals after your eats and appreciate your advice. I have lost 130 pounds through changing my lifestyle and am currently switching to a more plant based diet…I could really put a dehydrator to good use! I would make kale chips in a multitude of flavors!
kale chips please!!! yum
oh boy. overwhelmed. i don’t know. probably veggie chips?
Oh.my.god. I can’t believe you are giving away a dehydrator! I emailed you a few weeks ago asking about one but it’s not in my graduate school budget so I just gave up hope for having one, haha.
My first thing to make would be beet chips. I bought some at WF a while back and devoured them in a couple days!! Healthy and yummy! I would also attempt to make macaroons but would have to find another recipe since your’s is top secret for now. 😉
I just bought Ani Phyo’s book and am venturing into a vegan diet so a dehydrator would be an amazing resource to add to my kitchen. I will pray to the kitchen gods to help me win. haha.
i have wanted a dehydrator for soooo long! i would definitely make fruit leather and granola
I would give it to my husband who is an AWESOME cook!
how could i not say ROooOOOOoons??!!!
I would make my own dried fruit! I spent way too much money on buying dried fruit.
A dehydrator would be amazing! I would for sure make kale chips and also dry my own fruit since most dried fruit you purchase at the store has additional sugar added.
Macaroons, fo sho 🙂 Yours always look so delicious!
Kale chips! I would love to make them and dried fruit.
Oh my gosh what an awesome giveaway! You rock Gina! 😀
I would make raw crackers first!
fruit leather!
I’ve seen so many posts floating in the blog world about kale chips and it has made me intrigued — they’d definitely be my first item made in the dehydrator!
No freaking way! How am I so late to this party? What an awesome giveaway Gina!
This item has been on my list of wants for a couple of years. My sister, Dad, and I chipped in and purchased one for my mom for her birthday two years ago. She too, uses hers daily and is in love with it. She makes these raw tortilla chips that are better than any I have purchased at a store. No joke. I would probably make those first. 🙂
KALE CHIPS!!! Great giveaway idea!
I would make macaroons and fruit leather! I might try some dog jerky as well (for the dog, not made of dog!) Thanks for offering the giveaway.
MAC A ROONIES! (ever since trying yours…I’ve had a bit of a …ROON “problem”!)
I would make the kale chips! I see them all the time (on blogs) and really want to try em’!
Aaaah great giveaway! I’ve always wanted a dehydrator 🙂
Oops I forgot, I’d first make macaroons!
the first thing i would make are the ROONs!! my mouth waters every time i see yours!
seriously? A dehydrator?? BEST GIVEAWAY EVER!! I have been wanting one for so long. I don’t even know what I would make first!! Gluten free raw bread, raw granola, dried fruit, veggie chips….I am getting so excited just writing this!! Thanks for the great giveaway!! 😀
