{Giveaway} Dehydration Station

Hiiiiii 😀 Happy Indian Food Wednesday! How’s your day going?

I’m so glad you guys liked the video I posted last night– pretty amazeballz, huh? I also LOVED reading about your pets’ nicknames. Glad we’re not the only weirdos out there 😉

(check out that LEG sticking out! She’s so funny)

We just got back from this morning’s 30 minute walk, and also went to the dog park (DP) so Bella could chase her friends around and collapse in the dirt.

B-fast for the Pilot:

pilot

(Sourdough English muffin with sundried tomato goat cheese, organic turkey, an over easy egg on each side, and 1/2 avocado with berries)

Perfect protein pancakes for me:

pancakes

BANANA SPLIT protein pancakes with a square of dark chocolate, 1/2 banana, organic strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Yes, yes, yesssssssssssssss <—-foodgasm

So I wanted to say a little “thank you” for being so lovely and supportive since the Pilot has been home, with house hunting and life in general, so I asked my friends at OpenSky if we could do a lil giveaway.

When I picked the item, I wanted it to be something I use all the time and LOVE, so it was really an easy choice.

I’d definitely make the ‘roons first! But second I’d make the kale chips. I’m so curious about how they’d taste. Everyone seems to love them! P.S. your photos make me drool!!!! Awesome breakfast for the pilot! He’s a lucky guy.

I would definitely make kale chips first! I have tried them in oven and would love to try making them in a food dehydrator. I recently got rid of my microwave and I am in the market for a food dehydrator to add to my kitchen appliances. I love the idea of eating as raw as I can!

  5. Allie (Live Laugh Eat) on April 6, 2011 at 9:19 pm

Eggplant bacon, dried banana and kale chips! I’ve been making kale chips in the oven but something tell me the dehydrated version is much tastier!

Paleo granola. Nitrate-free, locally raised beef jerky.

Go ahead, all the veggie-heads can crucify me now. 😉

  47. Laura on April 6, 2011 at 10:08 pm

I would definitely being making batches and batches of macaroons. But, I think experimenting with Kale Chips would be a lot of fun because I haven’t liked the ones I’ve bought pre-packaged 🙂

I would make the raw chocolate chip cookies in Matthew Kenney’s ‘Everyday Raw’ book. 🙂

  49. LuAnn on April 6, 2011 at 10:09 pm

i think i would go completely nuts with a dehydrator and would probably miss school for a couple of days cause i’d be too busy trying new things and researching recipes. the first thing i’d like to make is sweet potato chips. my husband loves them and i do too!

  50. brittany on April 6, 2011 at 10:11 pm

I would make cheezy kale chips right away! store bought are always LACKING! having a dehydrator would literally change my life and the way i eat!
