{Giveaway} Dehydration Station

Hiiiiii 😀 Happy Indian Food Wednesday! How’s your day going?

I’m so glad you guys liked the video I posted last night– pretty amazeballz, huh? I also LOVED reading about your pets’ nicknames. Glad we’re not the only weirdos out there 😉

(check out that LEG sticking out! She’s so funny)

We just got back from this morning’s 30 minute walk, and also went to the dog park (DP) so Bella could chase her friends around and collapse in the dirt.

B-fast for the Pilot:

pilot

(Sourdough English muffin with sundried tomato goat cheese, organic turkey, an over easy egg on each side, and 1/2 avocado with berries)

Perfect protein pancakes for me:

pancakes

BANANA SPLIT protein pancakes with a square of dark chocolate, 1/2 banana, organic strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Yes, yes, yesssssssssssssss <—-foodgasm

So I wanted to say a little “thank you” for being so lovely and supportive since the Pilot has been home, with house hunting and life in general, so I asked my friends at OpenSky if we could do a lil giveaway.

When I picked the item, I wanted it to be something I use all the time and LOVE, so it was really an easy choice.

    ROONS!!!!

  2. missy on April 6, 2011 at 4:01 pm

Trader Joe’s get too much of my money for their delicious dried mango, so that would be what I’d make first! 🙂

  3. Katirie on April 6, 2011 at 4:01 pm

I would love to say macaroons . . . but since I know that they wouldn’t be able to compete with yours, I’ll say kale chips. Local organic kale is in season right now in ATL and I can’t think of a better use!

  4. Donca on April 6, 2011 at 4:01 pm

I would make kale chips. I think dehydrator kale chips would be so much better than the ones I make in the oven.

I would also make flax crackers.

I would basically have an endless list of projects…Fingers crossed.

  5. Calana on April 6, 2011 at 4:03 pm

I’d definitely make some kale chips!

  6. Kate on April 6, 2011 at 4:03 pm

Dried peaches and mangoes for the Hubs. He loves them but they are nearly impossible to find around here (Southwest GA!) NOT covered in sugar and preservatives. Everytime we go to Tallahassee,I think we spend at least $30 just on dried fruit!

  7. Jill on April 6, 2011 at 4:03 pm

Great giveaway!!! I would definitely make me some granola – I always burn it in the oven 🙁

  8. Danielle on April 6, 2011 at 4:04 pm

I’d make Kale chips first. I think they would be better than when i make them in my oven.

  9. Kelly on April 6, 2011 at 4:04 pm

Kale chips, kale chips, kale chips! I always have to half burn them in the oven to get them crispy enough. I’m dying for a dehydrator. 🙂

  10. Astrid on April 6, 2011 at 4:04 pm

WOW! so many things to choose from! I think I’d start with macaroons!

  11. Tara on April 6, 2011 at 4:04 pm

Geeze, I’d make that granola! It looks delish!

  12. Allison on April 6, 2011 at 4:04 pm

I would definitely make kale chips! i always burn them in the oven:(

  13. Lindsay on April 6, 2011 at 4:05 pm

I would make macaroons (since i have NEVER had them) with a side of dried fruit!
my mom had a dehydrator when i was little but it was ancient and broke when i was in HS 🙁

  14. rae on April 6, 2011 at 4:05 pm

I would make those kale chips!! yummo!

  15. Kelly on April 6, 2011 at 4:05 pm

i would start with either crepes or tortilla-style wraps! i’ve used the oven for “dehydrating” some other stuff, but these need the real deal.

  16. Anna on April 6, 2011 at 4:06 pm

I would make fruit and veggie chips 🙂 I love banana chips and would love to make my own among other things.

  17. Katy on April 6, 2011 at 4:06 pm

And your recipes are brilliant too!!

    All the best,
    Katy

  18. Talar on April 6, 2011 at 4:07 pm

Thanks for hosting this giveaway! I have wanted one of these forever! I would make all kinds of dried fruit – particularly banana.

  19. melissa lillie on April 6, 2011 at 4:07 pm

whoa….I think I would at first cry from disbelief and then make some ‘roons and onion bread quick-like before I woke up and realized it was just a dream!

  20. Savannah on April 6, 2011 at 4:07 pm

  21. Rebecca on April 6, 2011 at 4:07 pm

Oh my! I’ve always wanted a dehydrator! The first thing I would make is…dried fruit!! Probably pineapple and mango first (pineapple for me, and the mango for my husband!)

  22. Becci on April 6, 2011 at 4:07 pm

I would make some dried pineapple! I love that stuff and it is so expensive around here!

  23. Melissa on April 6, 2011 at 4:08 pm

The first thing I would make…Kale chips!! I just made them for the first time ever yesterday, in the oven. Then some gluten free granola!

  24. Rebecca on April 6, 2011 at 4:09 pm

I have always wanted to make fruit leather, so I think that would be my first thing! The idea of it is just making my mouth water already.

  25. Ashleigh on April 6, 2011 at 4:10 pm

    Kale Chips!!

  26. Raphaela on April 6, 2011 at 4:10 pm

  27. Laura on April 6, 2011 at 4:11 pm

I would make… kale chips! I’ve been wanting to tackle those for awhile. Thanks for running the giveaway!

  28. Jessica M on April 6, 2011 at 4:11 pm

    Oooh. I want this.

I would make nacho cheese kale chips first. And later, fruit leather, and crackers.

I have Everyday Raw and I need to get me a dehydrator to try some of the recipes! – I really want to try the eggplant bacon!

  29. Amy Ramos on April 6, 2011 at 4:12 pm

I would make the roons first. I have been wanting to win them when you do a giveaway but alas, I never win. Boo.

  30. Katie on April 6, 2011 at 4:12 pm

    Dearest giveaway gods,

Please let me win this ahhmaaaaaaaaaaaaazing giveaway! Oh my goodness I want to win this so SO badly. I’ve been eyeballing quite a few recipes that I would make. First, I would try my hardest to make a roon that looks even 1/2 as amazing as yours! I also really want to make some veggie flat bread.

    Sincerely,

    Katie

  31. Caroline Devin on April 6, 2011 at 4:13 pm

  35. Anna on April 6, 2011 at 4:14 pm

    I would make banana chips!

  36. christin on April 6, 2011 at 4:14 pm

    Kale chips!!

  38. Anu on April 6, 2011 at 4:15 pm

  39. Sarah on April 6, 2011 at 4:15 pm

I’d like an easy way to make kale chips!

  40. Emily K. on April 6, 2011 at 4:15 pm
