How bout a roon?

Heyyyyyy ๐Ÿ˜€ How are you? Itโ€™s almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea whoโ€™s playing, haha.

After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:

dinner

Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans

While I made dinner, I also packed todayโ€™s lunch so I wouldnโ€™t have to deal with it this morning ๐Ÿ˜‰

salad

Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

My favorite fitness move is squats! That which does not kill you only makes you stronger, right?!

  8. Tiffanie on February 3, 2011 at 8:48 pm

I love curtsy squats, they always make my legs burn in a good way. Its like I can feel my legs and bootie getting stronger and firmer after 5 seconds. And there is always a way to make them more challenging ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Tabby on February 3, 2011 at 8:48 pm

    sit ups!

  10. Charlotte on February 3, 2011 at 8:49 pm

Ah you must be a masochist – I cannot stand the burpee! Even in the best shape of my life, when I was doing them every other day, they still managed to make me feel like an old hag after only a few. My favorite move would have to be a good ol’ bridge (or wheel, in yogaspeak). Nothing like it to clear out all the crapola building up in your spine.

  11. Madison W. on February 3, 2011 at 8:52 pm

I am a huge fan of Jackie Warner’s and I do her personal trainer dvd’s in my dorm room up in NJ with my roommate. My all-time favorite move? Sissy squats (done with heels on weights) and mountain climbers (on Bose Ball).

And I like you on facebook! Seeing your blog when I’m faced with my limited options at school inspires me to eat healthier and vegetarian! I also love Larabars but I’ve never tried the blueberry muffin one you like. I also want to try amaze-balls. ๐Ÿ™‚
