Shirts and Cookies
Hi guys!! How are ya this lovely Monday morning??
It’s COLD here!! Actually, it’s like 50 degrees, but it feels so beautiful outside. Fall, I lurve you so. <3
I also love….
ROONS 😀
Those are to send out to friends, but I munched one with an apple as a pre-gym snack 😉
There was a minor debate for what to do as my AM workout sesh. Yoga is kind of far and since I work a little earlier today, I couldn’t take 3 hours out of the day for yoga :/ It’s definitely a time commitment! So I think I’m going to head to the gym for a weights sesh and Latin Cardio class 🙂 It will be fun to switch things up a little.
Today, I’ll be rocking my “I blog all day” shirt, courtesy of my twinnie friends 🙂 Lori and Michelle’s sister owns a shirt company called Raw Threads, and they were so kind to bring me some shirts when we had lunch last Friday.
They also brought me some shirts for YOU 😀
The top two are breast cancer awareness shirts (the long-sleeved one has angel wings on the back!), the one on the bottom left says “Race You to the Castle” and the one on the right says “Raw” 🙂
Raw Threads recently partnered with Thriv to make the shirts out of beautiful, soft, organic fabric. (You can read my review of Thriv *here*)
All four shirts are size Medium and to *sweeten* the deal, I’ll also throw in a batch of vegan cookies of choice. Shirts and cookies are an excellent combo 🙂
How to enter:
–Leave a comment with the description of your favorite shirt– you know, the one you wear allllll the time. Mine is my “Some Like It Hot” MBody yoga tee. It’s been through a lot, but I still wear pretty often.
–Tweet “I want to win @raw_threads from @fitnessista !”
The lucky winner will be chosen tonight at midnight, EST.
Ready… set… go 🙂
xoxo,
Gina

my favorite t-shirt is the one I got in the North End (Boston)that has a cute quote about being Italian “…pasta eatin’, good lookin’, loud talking, hand gesturin’, one magnificent Italian” I love it because it’s true 🙂
You bet I’ll be wearing “Race you to the Castle”. It’s fun to pretend, right? And my little girl LUV’s princesses!
My #1 FAV shirt is my green, short-sleeve ‘Emmie Law Half Marathon’ shirt. That was the most challenging half EVER (all hills, almost completely vertical! Sure, you did go down, but you’d just go right back up)! But it is incredibly soft, and I like the way I look in green. 🙂
My all time favorite tee says “I just want to ride bikes with you” from the guys section at Urban. Complete with two small old-school bikes written in all lowercase scripts. It has to be THE softest cotton tee out there.
My fav is a long-sleeve run shirt from 1999 (from a race that I actually didn’t like, but the shirt was good!) It is SO worn out and soft that it will have to be put to rest soon. I’m all about the softness of a shirt! Thanks for great posts.
My favorite tee is a sheer thin white v – neck w/ a beautiful butterfly across the front! Love butterflies!
My fav shirt is a Betty Boop top that I had about 10 years now. It has Betty Boop saying tell your boyfriend to stop caling me.
MY FAVE IS MY YOGA SHIRT THAT SAYS “KISS MY ASANA” WITH A LIPSTICK MARK ON THE SIDE! :))
i want one! that is so cute 😛
MY favorite shirt is a plain black, v-neck tee. Nothing extravagant, but it’s so soft, so comfy, and fits just perfectly. Doesn’t take much to make me happy 🙂 lol
My favorite shirt originally belonged to my husband during high school. The fabric has that soft worn feeling to it and it’s so comfortable!
My favorite tee is a shirt I got my freshman year in college from my sorority! It has some sweat and makeup stains now, but it is so comfy so I still sleep in it!
Fave shirt is a yoga shirt, really thin burnout material and says “Do You Practice?”
I have a plain black t-shirt that I love! I wear it at least once a week.
I received a Thriv shirt from Fitbloggin’ so I know the Raw Threads shirts feel amazing!!
My favorite shirt is an I Love Lucy vitameatavegamin shirt that I got at Universal. 😀
My favorite shirt is an old tie-dye number, probably two sizes too big, riddled with holes, and worn so thin it’s practically see-through. It’s the most comfortable garment I own, and I refuse to give it up!
My favorite shirt is one of my husband’s old t-shirts! It’s a Coca-Cola t-shirt that is so worn and soft, it’s actually developing holes! But so comfy. 😉
Run for Wine!!! Love it!
My favorite shirt is a dark grey long-sleeve post-yoga (it’s not made for yoga, but it’s my top weekend choice and I do yoga on the weekend) shirt with the brand name written on it (Spiritual Gangster). It’s comfy, super soft, and I do feel like a spiritual gangster right after yoga 😉
My favorite shirt is “I run for food” 🙂 because it’s sooooo true! 🙂
I tweeted!
I love the red ribbon t-shirt!!! So cool! 🙂 Have a great day!
My favorite shirt is dark green with lime green huge letters…on the front it says “MORE CARDIO”…on the back it says “LESS LARDIO”. It’s way to big for me and super comfy, and it makes me laugh!
My favorite t-shirt is very old and it’s my first college lacrosse t-shirt. It is very faded – and not the ones we played in – but we sold them as a fundraiser for our team and it is by far the softest shirt in the world!
My favorite t-shirt is from Life Is Good. It has a pair of flip-flops sketched onto it and says “Not all who wonder are lost.” It’s super-comfy and a front-runner when I get home from work and want to change out of my suit.
Hello Ms. Fitnessista!
Your blog is so inspiring, I read it everyday! Although I just have a question..
Ive never been the excercise kinda gal. I eat so unhealthy and do nothing but work 3 jobs and go to school full time. So I leave no time for my body unfortunetly. 🙁 I have managed though to stay thin which I am totally okay with. But I know I am out of shape big time. I live in Arizona and I sadly have to avoid wearing shorts because I know my legs have no muscle and its soemthing I am very embarassed about! So what I am asking.. is what are some ways to first start out with to do leg excercises?
hey girl,
check out the winter shape up- quick workouts that can all be done at home 🙂 (it’s under the workout tab)
thanks so much for reading my little blog
Suh-weeeet!!!
My fav shirt is my “got soju” shirt that i wear when i bum around my house.
I still wear my favorite sorority tshirt to the gym. Maybe its time to retire that shirt and get adult workout gear!
my favourite shirt is one my boyfriend (oh his) gave me and it’s a shirt from my favourite band — the black crowes — but it has a sort of joke about what to do if you’re stopped by the cops (i’m a lawyer so i pretty much already know what to do hahaha)
My favorite T shirt is from this store in Brooklyn.. its this really thin fabric and its long sleeved and just SO comfy…
My favorite shirt is a pink long sleeve Nike top that my sister got me for Christmas. I love it!
my favorite shirt is one from college. It is stained with lots of chocolate and coffee, but there is something special to it and it is still so soft. ;)It says Hawaii on it lol
My favorite shirt is my Bike MS shirt. It fits perfectly and it so comfortable!
My favorite shirt is just a fitted cranberry colored pocket tee I got from Target. It doesn’t say anything and it was cheap, but I love it!
i’ve been rocking my new bamboo t-shirt that i got from alaska lately 🙂 so soft!!
My favorite shirt is my Stand up to Cancer shirt. My sister, originally diagnosed at age 31, has now had three recurrences of breast cancer. My Stand up shirt reminds me that as long as we stand up together in the fight, cancer doesn’t STAND a chance!
My favorite t-shirt is an old NY Mets tee. Super comfy and I get to show off my fav team =)
My fav shirt is my boyfriends star wars tee. Expresses that innernerd in me and it’s super duper comfy and smells like him lol
My fav shirt is a t-shirt that says 26.2 on it, nuff’ said:)
Those shirts are so cute! I several t-shirts I wear regularly, my favorite workout shirt is just a basic long shirt from JCP, I love the bright pink color.
I’ve got a t-shirt that says “I’m so vegan I bleed tree sap.” Seems like I’m the only one who thinks it’s funny, but it’s my favorite! 🙂
My favorite t-shirt is an old tee from a gymnastics competition when I was 12 years old.. yea I haven’t grown much since then..LOL
Mine says, “Get Buck Wild,” w/ a pair of antlers across it!
My favorite t-shirt is from the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. Because my husband works in the Dept of Agriculture I ran the half marathon in memory and in honor of all the US Dept of Agriculture workers affected by the bombing. While running the race I even met other runners running for some of the same poeple. Each time I wear the shirt I am reminded of how Oklahoma City has made a commitment to turn this awful event into something positive and to help make the world a better place.
ahh I love those shirts! My favorite tshirt is one I actually stole from my sister! 🙂 It’s the Bill Seymour Half Marathon tshirt and it’s from 2002, so it’s perfectly worn in! 🙂
My favorite t-shirt says “Later Haters” on the front!
Hi Gina! My favorite shirt is my “Love your Body” shirt. I like to wear it when I am feeling frumpy, out of sorts, etc. It reminds me that i should be thankful I am alive, healthy, and full of hope!
Fav shirt is a black shirt I got from a Sushi restaurant…it says “Miso Hot”.
my favorite shirts comes from the gals at Post Punk Kitchen (of Veganomicon fame)–it’s charcoal gray with adorable purple transfer of cupcakes, kitchen tools & oven mitts and says, very appropriately, “show us your mitts!”
My favorite shirt is a super old vintage Marlboro camel shirt that was my Grandpa’s…in no way do I support smoking but he quit after giving me the shirt when I was much younger and it is super soft and cozy. I love the vintage look and feel as well as the great memory of the day he quit so he could still be with us today!
My favorite shirt is an old long sleeve “red dragon” shirt (its some skate boarding company haha… so not my style!) and I “borrowed”…which turned into “keeping” it from my friend Lauren. I believe it was her brothers initially… 🙂 haha! I loved it so much (out of sheer comfy-ness, not style!) that she let me keep it.
Anyways, theres a million holes in it but its SO comfortable. I wear it around the house all the time & to bed. Zzzzzz.
I know this doesnt count but I have the cutest boxer shorts I wear to bed too that have a picture of a bear on the butt and it says “Bear Bum” hehehehe.
