Hi friends! Hope you’re enjoying the day. I’m still in shock that we only have a few days left of Summer Shape Up. I’m so happy you’re enjoying the Week 4 workout (it’s a doozy!) and remember that if you still have the motivation mojo going when the 4 weeks end, you can repeat the entire shape up for an 8-week program. It’s always fun to go through another round; you know what to expect and can also see how much you’ve improved.

Since I’m up in the air on the way to Portland, I thought it would be the perfect day for a giveaway, courtesy of my friends at Yes To. I’ve always been a huge fan of the brand, and especially love their facial cleansing towels after sweaty workouts. When I don’t have the time to shower in between teaching classes, it’s an easy way to get the sweat off, and using them keeps my skin from breaking out. I also love their body butters, the fact that the products don’t contain freaky ingredients, and that they’re light in scent. Livi has very sensitive skin, so I’m cautious of the products I use, so that the contact or fragrance doesn’t irritate her. Thankfully, Yes To is extremely gentle.

I say yes to new running shoes, long summer evening walks, and limeade!!
I always “say yes” to macarons, karaoke, and extra SPF!
Yes to not being so hard on myself when I don’t get as much as I want done. And an even bigger Yes to nights filled with the oh-so-beautiful feeling of dozing off, while curled up on the couch in front of the TV or with a book in hand, a blanket and a nice buzz from the evening’s libations. A slight smile on my face and not a care in the world.
I say yes to ice cream and yes to running!
I always say yes to a glass of wine, a hug and some chocolate 🙂
I say yes to 85 percent dark chocolate, hikes in Denali National Park and playing my ukulele at open mic night
I say yes to:
a late night modern family marathon with my lovebug (!), almond milk iced coffee, and a new book 🙂
I say yes to dog kisses, sunscreen, running trails, and good books.
I say yes to weight lifting, which is something I’ve just started to do. (Why didn’t I do this earlier!? It’s so much more fun than being on a treadmill!)
I say yes to wine and getting my nails done – and a big yes to natural ingredients!
I say “yes to” focusing on exercise that makes me feel good! For too long I pushed myself to do long cardio sessions or struggle with weights but now I have a routine that I love, find challenging, and feel good about!
I say yes to enjoying every day of this summer (and life in general) to it’s fullest because time is just flyin’ 🙂
I say yes to Carne Asadas in the summer, going bike-riding in the forest preserves with my family, and burgers/asianfood/indianfood/all-kinds-of-food.
I say yes to cuddling with the fiance, kitty nuzzles, red wine, sweet potatoes, and sunshine 🙂
I say yes to the upcoming long weekend for Canada Day and going for a long, sweaty run on my day off!

I say yes to puppy snuggles, fro yo and a glass of wine with girl friends!

I say yes to feeling the burn during a good workout and having a nice glass of wine on a sunny patio!
I say no to freaky chemicals!
Yes to: candy crush, a good run, and to so you think you can dance!
I say yes to college football, pizza, ice cream and Crossfit (kind of a hodge podge I guess)!
I say yes to dark chocolate, visiting the Farmer’s Market and anything about babies (I just recently found out that I’m pregnant!)
I say yes to sangria, good cheese, and peanut butter M and Ms!
Yes To ~ a full night of sleep, finally getting some warm weather, and my poor sick baby finally feeling better.
I say yes to:
Coffee in the morning, anything the little boy I nanny for wants/says please for, early morning workouts, and working at the gym for a free membership.

I say yes to matcha green tea!! love it!! and the baseball games that my husband and I are going to this summer, fun!! 🙂
I say yes to yoga (the sweatier the better!), chocolate (dark, milk, sea salt, coconut — basically anything haha), new clothes & sunset walks 🙂
I say yes to a few extra minutes of doggie snuggles before I get out of bed in the morning, changing my toenail polish every few days and running 5ks with no training just because it gets me a free beer at the end!
I say yes to sloppy kisses from my sweet one year old Pit Bull/Lab mix! Could def use some Yes! Products to get rid of the excess slobber though! 🙂
