Suja Giveaway- ENDED

How ‘bout a little giveaway to start the day??

Suja Fresh Start 4 1 14

My friends at Suja have kindly been sending me juices for the past few weeks, and invited me to run their Rock n’ Rock half marathon here next weekend. (NEXT WEEKEND! *minor panic*) Every time I run a distance race, I tell myself I’m done for a while… and then I do another one. It makes no sense, but neither do I sometimes 😉 A surefire way to get me to run: fresh, organic, cold-pressed juice.

I LOVE it.

It’s perfect for on-the-go especially when you don’t have time to make a fresh juice and your smuices are a liiiittle too chewy/gnarly.

I’ve always been a fan of Suja’s juices, even more so now that I’ve been able to try a variety of their delicious flavors. (Before, I would always just get the Tropicaloe from Whole Foods; my favorite post-workout refresher)

My favorite green juice is the GLOW: 2 apples, 6 celery stalks, a handful of spinach, 3 collard leaves, 3 kale leaves and a sprig of mint.

A little more info about Suja:

-Suja means “long, beautiful life” and was founded by four San Diego natives wanting to share good health with the world.

-The juices are cold-pressed to kill bacteria while still preserving the nutrition and taste.

Forbes has dubbed them “One of the most promising companies of 2014″

I reached out to Suja to see if they’d be interested in doing a giveaway, and was so excited that they said yes 🙂 They kindly offered a 3-day Fresh Start (valued at $162) for a lucky reader, plus a running shirt and headband.

This giveaway has ended as of 10:42am EST (5/23). Thank you to everyone for entering and stay tuned for another giveaway this weekend 🙂

xoxo

Gina

I love any green juice! Evolution juices are so convenient to grab at Starbucks (or even better, grabbing a Pressed while at Alfred’s on Melrose $$).

  4. Molly I. on May 22, 2014 at 4:29 pm

I’ve recently gotten into iced green tea with lemon. I never thought I liked green tea, but I’ve found that even just a little bit of lemon in there makes a huge difference.

And post workout? I’m on the chocolate milk bandwagon.

  21. Olena on May 22, 2014 at 4:45 pm

Water is first, with either lemon or cucumber slices. A tangy homemade lemonade is refreshing, too!

I love peach tea with fresh peaches in it!

  41. Abby on May 22, 2014 at 5:02 pm

In the summer, I’m always SO much thirstier! It really is all about getting down as much water as I can. Adding lime, cucumber, berries, or even drinking seltzer water is the best way to go.

  42. JW on May 22, 2014 at 5:03 pm

I love to juice, and will usually start with a cucumber-lemon-celery base, and add kale or another green, parsley or cilantro, and maybe a carrot or two! Would love to try Suja since I have a brand new 9 week old puppy (white lab)! Caring for her 24/7 is interfering with my juice making! 🙂 And yes, I am a mother of two children!

  43. Anna on May 22, 2014 at 5:05 pm

Bubbly water is my go to drink.

  44. Carrie Gangel on May 22, 2014 at 5:05 pm

  46. Katie on May 22, 2014 at 5:06 pm

Sparkling water! I make my own and add citrus (or weirdly, a dash of bitters meant for mixed drinks–no alcohol but I like the bitter, citrusy flavor).

  47. Amy on May 22, 2014 at 5:07 pm

Water is my go-to. Or iced coffee.

  48. Coco on May 22, 2014 at 5:09 pm
