Week of giveaways: Tiny Devotions- ENDED
Yesterday’s Five Bamboo giveaway winner:
Congratulations! Send me your size and color preferences to fitnessista at gmail dot com (subject: FIVE BAMBOO WINNER) and I’ll forward your info to the giveaway fairy.
Today’s giveaway is very near and dear to my heart
not the cupcake (even though they were deliciousโฆ)
or the ice creamโฆ.
the bracelets!
I love, love the mala beads that Tiny Devotions sent me a year ago. [AutoCorrect changed “‘mala’ to ‘male.'” I got a good laugh out of that.] I really think they bring me luck and good energy. I put the bracelets on when I’m having an “off” day and something about looking down to see them makes me feel better and turn things around. Whenever I need an extra boost or bit of good vibes, you can bet our booty I have my mala beads on. Each color cord has a different meaning, so you can choose to wear one or two, or the entire stack.
From their website:
“Our Tiny Devotions mala beads are perfect for beginnings and endings – goals, struggles, worries, dreams, intentions and prayers.
Mala beads transcend cultures and religions and can be found in some form in nearly every tradition around the world.
The word bead, historically coming from the word “prayer” or “to pray”.
These sacred and beautiful beads help us live in the moment – staying present to the beauty of life.
We combine rudraksha seeds with semi precious crystals and pearls to create beautiful designer malas that each have their own specific intention. Rudraksha seeds are known as the eyes or tears of Shiva – and are worn for their protective and sacred qualities.”
Tiny Devotions kindly offered to send a lucky reader the abundance stack of mala beads, valued at $108.

I love these. I am in a new relationship and often find myself doubting these strong feelings or trying to analyze every happy moment. My goal is just to relax, let love come, and be happy where I am. ๐
My goal is to stay positive. My husband and I have been married 8 years and are dealing with unexplained infertility. My Dr. has me starting a detox and acupuncture to get things balanced out so it would be great to have a little reminder to stay positive and peaceful and know that it will all work out!!
My goal is to be positive. I always seem to have a negative outlook on things and my husband is always telling me that I need to be more positive.
I have been dealing with months and months of infertility treatment that did not work. Our family goal is to adopt a baby in the next year.
Good Afternoon!
A goal I have set for myself if to move closer to the ocean, and begin to persue my passion of movement (through yoga). It’s a terrifying thing to let go of the comfort I have in my jobs presently, however, I know it’s going to be rewarding and eye opening!
Thanks Gina!
My goal is to go to Yoga in the Park in Des Moines as many times as I can this summer while I’m here. I love yoga, but I never seem to get around to it these days. When I found Yoga in the Park though I knew I just had to commit myself to doing it because it will be so fun and relaxing.

My goal is to finish the Chicago Marathon under 4:30.
My goal is to stay vegan – I just completed a one month go vegan challenge (I was a full on carnivore) and since becoming vegan, I have a ton of energy, great skin, sleep better, and I am losing weight for the first time in my adult life. It can be hard – a lot of people in my life just want me to ‘have one piece of meat/cheese/eggs, no one will know!’ but I feel so much better physically that I really want to make this a long term life goal.
My goal, as a new mother, is to not beat myself up about things I can’t control or to compare myself to other mothers. I know if I follow my instincts and do my best for my daughter she will turn out to be an amazing person.
A recent goal of mine is take time for myself (even just 5 minutes) each day. It’s helping me to relax and put things into perspective. It’s amazing how something so little can make a huge impact!!!
My goal is to be in the moment. Not to spend time with my daughter thinking about work.
We want to start a family, that is my goal!
My goal is to follow through on a HUGE career change. At the age of 36 with two boys as a divorced mom, I want to move across the country and give up the security of a teaching job to follow my dream. I am almost there!
my goal is to love myself more and where I am at, it’s a challenge but I am working on it! Great give away! ๐
My goal is to remember my blessings every day. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in the day-to-day hustle and bustle that I forget to stop and think about the wonderful blessings in my life.
I just graduated from college so my goal right now is to take advantage of every new opportunity that comes my way, and hopefully start my own blog to follow my experiences.
I set a goal to pass a certification exam, and am going to take it this Saturday. Hopefully all goes well and my goal is achieved.
I have two goals for the summer!
1) Run a 10K
2) Figure out what I want to do with my life when I graduate from college
My goal is to relearn how to live after losing my 34 year old brother to CNS lymphoma in February. He battled this disease courageously for almost 4 years. He was an equine vet and has a 4 year old son. Another goal is to be the best aunt I can be for my nephew, be there to support my sister-in-law and for my nephew to know all of the physical and fun things my brother loved to do. All while picking up the pieces of losing my younger brother and one of my best friends.
My goal for the rest of the year is to be more mindful and practice presence in my every day life.

My goal is to find a career that I look forward to.
For many years I wanted to start running and run a 5k. I ran my first 5k last fall and it felt amazing. And then I decided to try to run a half marathon. Did that May 6th and it was life altering. I swear I sound so silly but it was. I can’t imagine my life without fitness now.
My goal is to be better about cross training, especially getting back into yoga.
Love your blog!
I have a couple important ones…be kinder to myself and spend more quality time with my loved ones
My goal is to regularly jump 3′ courses and become a riding instructor!
