Kath: fave goat cheese recipes
Hi friends! Happy Sunday! I’ll be back to regular blogging later today with some pics from our adventures lately. Thank you again to all of my wonderful friends who kept the blog going with their guest posts while I was away. It was nice to unplug for a while and enjoy everything about our travels. My last guest post is from my dear friend Kath, who was in Tucson not too long ago. She has an amazing family, and an a-Mazen little guy, who is just turning one year old! Her post has some awesome uses for goat cheese, which is my all-time favorite. Enjoy! xo, G
Hi all, Iโm Kath who Eats Real Food! Gina and I share a love of many things, but perhaps one of my favorite parts about reading her blog is all the love for goat cheese. I remember the first time I tried goat cheese and fell in love. So much punch. So much versatility. And a flavor and texture combo that no other cheese can rival.
There is so much you can do with goat cheese from spreading it on toast with jam to mixing it into herby risottos and sauces. It can swing sweet or savory depending on its company.
Matt and I set out to make our own goat cheese last year. Here is the recipe. It turned out delicious, and I hope to make some more flavor combinations this year.
So to keep the goat cheese love alive, here are five of my favorite goat cheese recipes from KERF:
2. Pumpkin Goat Cheese & Kale Lasagna
3. Lemon Almond + Smoked Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms
4. Smoked Goat Cheese Risotto with Sherry Mushrooms
5. Grilled Radicchio with Malbec Barbecue Sauce and Goat Cheese
Some great ideas here — can’t wait to try them!

Amazing, two of my favorite bloggers in one post! I love the goat cheese ideas, especially since goat cheese is one of the few cheese I actually eat on a regular basis. Goat cheese and warm peaches on toast are a good combo too!
