10/4: Friday Faves {sneak giveaway}
-My two favorite people in the world, relaxing on the hammock together.
Livi now asks me to please braid her hair most mornings. She’ll tell me if she wants a braid, Dorothy braids or a bun. I tell ya.
-Salmon tacos. We had taco night this week, and this 15-minute meal was blackened salmon with lettuce, avocado and a cumin-lime yogurt sauce on corn tortillas. I heated up some black beans to go with it and boom! Dinner was served.
Dessert: BTO
(Nutella and Reese’s flavor with Reese’s, hot peanut butter and chocolate chips…)
-A new kombucha scoby! The “mother” scoby is usually only good for about 3 batches, and none of my baby scobies were strong enough, so it was time to replenish the stash. I have a giant batch of kombucha fermenting away in the pantry and am so excited to play with some holiday-esque flavors 😉

-Physique 57’s new website and an all-new cardio sculpt option for their online classes. I haven’t been able to do P57 at home with half marathon training, but I’m so excited to check out their new workouts when the half is over. If you check out the new ones, let me know how they are!
-Fall decor. As soon as this post publishes, I’m heading out to the garage to bring in all of the Halloween decorations. Scary excited 😉

This weekend I am up for some power shopping, yoga and a run!
I plan to go to Shockwave tomorrow if I’m done at the farmer’s market in time, otherwise a good strength session and probably a nice long walk.
Family walk tonight and tomorrow, plus arms tonight 🙂
I’m planning medium long runs (6-7 miles) for both Saturday and Sunday. Yea for fall running!
So many great things in this post! Liv is so so cute, and she’s getting so grown up! As for fitness plans this weekend, I’ll be doing an interval run, a bit of time on the stepmill, and some weights. One of my goals for this month is to swap some of my cardio time for lifting, and so far it’s going pretty well! Have a great weekend Gina!

I’m visiting Philly for a girls weekend with my sisters – there will be tons of walking around Center City, plus a 7 mile run (along Museum Mile, up the Rocky Stairs, and along the river past Boathouse Row – can’t wait!)

I plan on doing a early 8 mile run tomorrow in this perfect weather and a HIIT spin class on Sunday. I look forward to long run Saturdays. I love the Nanos, I’ve been seeing them everywhere!
My Crossfit box is having a competition tomorrow. I’ll be doing 3 events…..Freddy’s Revenge, Fight Gone Bad, and Linda.

I’m training for a PR on a 5K at the end of the month, so I’ve got a 4 mile run to do, plus a yoga class!
I’m on call this weekend, but plan to squeeze in an early morning bike trainer session with intervals on Saturday and then a bike + run on Sunday.
My first weekend goal is always to keep up with walking my energetic dog – at least 4 miles each morning. Some yoga and core work would be icing on the cake.

Spin class tomorrow and Insanity on Sunday!
We got snowed in out of town (yes, SNOW!), but when we eventually make it back I am hoping to get in a good strength session! My strength routine has been lacking lately.
I’m thinking I’ll go with walking around the farmer’s market and solibeats booty shaking tomorrow and lifting on sunday!
Saturday morning will consist of an early workout of muscle sculpting while my 3 year old & hubby are still sleeping. Then a full day of walking as it is a big shopping day as my mom flies in. Sunday will consist of a nice hike with the family, a path close to home where the tree colors are so lovely.
I am 8 days out from my first bikini competition… so weights and cardio for me!

This weekend I am excited to hop on my elliptical with the season premiere of the Vampire Diaries. Ian Somerhalder is totally my version of a carrot in front of a horse, yum! And Sunday is yoga or pilates day for me, whichever I feel like doing.
This weekend’s fitness plan is a 7 mile hike at Deem Hill with my bestie and a squat burner!
