Cake on a lid plate
Hey guys! Happy Saturday! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! Has anyone seen the new Harry Potter yet?? I really want to see it but I’m ashamed to admit that I haven’t read the book yet…. I read the first four but couldn’t get past the fifth one (even though I own it!) so I’m waiting until I finish the books to see all of the movies :/
Anywho, the party last night was a success!
I ended up getting my hands on some Bundt cake….
Served to me in a cake lid by my husband (I just ate the frosting off the top) and gum on the side. Classy wassy 😉
Ashley, myself and Jeni:
Even though it was raining like the dickens (hence my frizzball hair), we had a blasty and I was SO glad when all of the party planning and prep was over.
Since there wasn’t a single thing that I would like to eat at the party (besides the cake frosting of course, haha) I was really, REALLY craving some hummus while we were driving home.
So when we got to the casa, I made a GIANT batch and had it with some Mary’s crack:
With a side of vino:
Since he was so tired from his crazy week, the pilot went up to bed and I stayed up for girl talk with Megan. Which for us means talking about raw foods, nutrition and the importance of buying organic. We’re fun, hahah.
This morning, I got up early and had a nanner with AB before hitting up the gym for some cardio.
I also had a training appointment and came home to make the pilot an omelet before going back to work:
When I got home for work, I had a surprise waiting for me in the fridge…
That right there, my friends is an AVOCOLADA!!!!
-avocado
-pineapple
-coconut water
-vanilla
-agave
-sea salt
Total and utter deliciousness. Thank you, Megan!
After I had my smoothie, I had a little spa day and got a massage, facial and my eyebrows waxed. I was looking a little burly 😉
It was ahhhhhhmazing. You guys know how much I love to shop, but I’d rather get a massage and facial than a new pair of jeans any day, hands down.
When I got back to the casa, I had a salad beast before meeting Jeni at the gym to do legs.
Romaine, cucumber, grape tomatoes, bell pepper, dulse, the last sliver of raw goat cheddar (I cried a little), sea salt, pepper, raw apple cider vinegar and flax oil.
Jeni and I did Day 4 of this week’s Shape Up workout and it was KILLER!! My legs definitely burned and my face was red… just the way I like it 😀
Now I’m about to get ready to meet the girls for dinner and a movie (Bruno!) since the boys are playing poker.
Hope you all have a great night <3
Much love,
G$
I love how you only eat what you REALLY want (the frosting, and staying away from the party food). Shows will-power, yet you're able to enjoy food!!
So glad the party went well and you got yourself a bite of the bundt cake.
The avocolada sounds simply amazing!! I need someone like Megan to come stay at my house. I miss all that comes along with living with girlfriends!
So happy you linked to day 4 of the challenge. I'm headed to gym right after I type this so I think I might just do it!!
Love the bundt cake pic 😉
I saw Harry Potter on Wednesday and it was awesome, but I do recommend you reading the book first because they compress to much into the movie that I think if you hadn't read it, it wouldn't all make sense!
I think your hair looks great!
Thanks for helping the party go so well. I couldn't have dome it without you. Love you, babe.

iPhone's a little tough to type with
Aww fun times!! And I LOVE that 'Wicked' cup (and the contents in it, haha).
What a day! 🙂 Let us know how you liked Bruno. I'm really wanting to see it.
I saw Harry POtter and loved it! I thought it was the best movie yet 🙂
An avocolada sounds so interesting! I def wouldn't have come up with it on my own, but I think I'll give it a try…
I won't watch a movie without reading the book first too! That way I can think up my own characters and not imagine the ones I've already seen on screen.
The avocolada sounds LOVELY! I adore avocado in smoothies!
Glad the party went well. I was literally just about to type what heyitstay did- I love that you EAT what you want. No need to waste on the unnecessary parts 😉 I just made up another monster salad and thought of you right away! I actually said out loud- now THATS a beast 😉 Have a good night
I'm glad the party went well! I have seen the HP movie, and would definitely say that it won't make that much sense until you have read the book, so because there are so many details. Anyway, have a good Saturday!
Glad the party was a success!
How did you like Bruno?

The avocolada looks superb!
Beware of Bruno… I laughed a LOT – this is true – but it was also the crudest movie ever, ever made. Truly, it is basically porn disguised as a video haha. I'm interested to see what you think of it!
love the cake in the top…totally classy of course! i'm even better: sometimes i eat right off the cake. :O
That drink sounds freaking fantastic!!!!
Don't read the book first, I always end up hating the movie when I do that!
Glad your party went well!
aww I love that you eat the cake out of the lid!
awesome salads, as always 🙂
OOo homemade hummus sounds divine!
And congrats on the party having gone smoothly and fun 🙂 I know they can sometimes be stressful!
The avocolada sounds amazing! Megan is so talented 🙂
Hehe, love that picture of you and the cake!
Yum cake! Juice looks yummy 🙂
I'm glad the party was a success! Yay for cake frosting!
I love that your girl talk consisted of raw food and nutrition! I wish I had somebody like that here! Good thing I have blogs to get my daily dose of nutrition talk, because my family sure isn't interested in hearing me talk about it to them, hahah. 🙂
im craving both hummus and avocado right now with marys crackers and kashi haha i should have came over last night
you call that frizzy hair?? damn gurl-you should see mine in all the rainy weather the NE has been getting!
i did see HP-it was pretty good actually. the best part was the crowd though-i went opening night (NOT the midnight showing, geez) and they were hilarious.
and i love the avacolada!!
