Cake on a lid plate

Hey guys! Happy Saturday! Hope youโ€™re having a wonderful weekend! Has anyone seen the new Harry Potter yet?? I really want to see it but Iโ€™m ashamed to admit that I havenโ€™t read the book yetโ€ฆ. I read the first four but couldnโ€™t get past the fifth one (even though I own it!) so Iโ€™m waiting until I finish the books to see all of the movies :/

Anywho, the party last night was a success!

I ended up getting my hands on some Bundt cakeโ€ฆ.

006

Served to me in a cake lid by my husband (I just ate the frosting off the top) and gum on the side. Classy wassy ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ashley, myself and Jeni:

007

Even though it was raining like the dickens (hence my frizzball hair), we had a blasty and I was SO glad when all of the party planning and prep was over.

Since there wasnโ€™t a single thing that I would like to eat at the party (besides the cake frosting of course, haha) I was really, REALLY craving some hummus while we were driving home.

008

So when we got to the casa, I made a GIANT batch and had it with some Maryโ€™s crack:

009

With a side of vino:

011

Since he was so tired from his crazy week, the pilot went up to bed and I stayed up for girl talk with Megan. Which for us means talking about raw foods, nutrition and the importance of buying organic. Weโ€™re fun, hahah.

This morning, I got up early and had a nanner with AB before hitting up the gym for some cardio.

013

I also had a training appointment and came home to make the pilot an omelet before going back to work:

014

And a green juice for me ๐Ÿ˜€
015

When I got home for work, I had a surprise waiting for me in the fridgeโ€ฆ

016

That right there, my friends is an AVOCOLADA!!!!

-avocado

-pineapple

-coconut water

-vanilla

-agave

-sea salt

Total and utter deliciousness. Thank you, Megan!

After I had my smoothie, I had a little spa day and got a massage, facial and my eyebrows waxed. I was looking a little burly ๐Ÿ˜‰

It was ahhhhhhmazing. You guys know how much I love to shop, but Iโ€™d rather get a massage and facial than a new pair of jeans any day, hands down.

When I got back to the casa, I had a salad beast before meeting Jeni at the gym to do legs.

018

Romaine, cucumber, grape tomatoes, bell pepper, dulse, the last sliver of raw goat cheddar (I cried a little), sea salt, pepper, raw apple cider vinegar and flax oil.

Jeni and I did Day 4 of this week’s Shape Up workout and it was KILLER!! My legs definitely burned and my face was redโ€ฆ just the way I like it ๐Ÿ˜€

Now Iโ€™m about to get ready to meet the girls for dinner and a movie (Bruno!) since the boys are playing poker.

Hope you all have a great night <3

Much love,

G$

I love how you only eat what you REALLY want (the frosting, and staying away from the party food). Shows will-power, yet you're able to enjoy food!!

So glad the party went well and you got yourself a bite of the bundt cake.

The avocolada sounds simply amazing!! I need someone like Megan to come stay at my house. I miss all that comes along with living with girlfriends!

So happy you linked to day 4 of the challenge. I'm headed to gym right after I type this so I think I might just do it!!

Love the bundt cake pic ๐Ÿ˜‰
I saw Harry Potter on Wednesday and it was awesome, but I do recommend you reading the book first because they compress to much into the movie that I think if you hadn't read it, it wouldn't all make sense!
I think your hair looks great!

Thanks for helping the party go so well. I couldn't have dome it without you. Love you, babe.

I saw Harry POtter and loved it! I thought it was the best movie yet ๐Ÿ™‚

An avocolada sounds so interesting! I def wouldn't have come up with it on my own, but I think I'll give it a try…

I won't watch a movie without reading the book first too! That way I can think up my own characters and not imagine the ones I've already seen on screen.

The avocolada sounds LOVELY! I adore avocado in smoothies!

I'm glad the party went well! I have seen the HP movie, and would definitely say that it won't make that much sense until you have read the book, so because there are so many details. Anyway, have a good Saturday!

    The avocolada looks superb!

Beware of Bruno… I laughed a LOT – this is true – but it was also the crudest movie ever, ever made. Truly, it is basically porn disguised as a video haha. I'm interested to see what you think of it!

Don't read the book first, I always end up hating the movie when I do that!

    Glad your party went well!

I love that your girl talk consisted of raw food and nutrition! I wish I had somebody like that here! Good thing I have blogs to get my daily dose of nutrition talk, because my family sure isn't interested in hearing me talk about it to them, hahah. ๐Ÿ™‚
