Schweaty November Workout
Hey friends! It’s THE WEEKEND 🙂 What are you up to? My friend Hayley gets in from Atlanta later this morning and besides baby shower adventures, we have a few shenanigans planned. It should be a lot of fun.
For dinner last night, I had my heart set on a new type of pizza- I had been scheming it in my brain all day. All I needed to do was stop and get the ingredients, but after the Pilot got off work and we chilled at the madre’s for a little while, we realized it was 8:30 and we were both starving. No time to mess around with pizza.
Renee’s Organic Oven to the rescue! The Pilot ordered himself a sandwich, and got me this AMAZING hummus tostada with goat cheese instead of feta. It had a crunchy corn crust, hummus, veggies, salad greens and goat cheese. I topped it with some Goddess dressing + red chili flakes, and it was everything I could wish for.
This morning, I made a quick egg-rito
which I couldn’t roll up, since the tortilla was too crispy. I love Trader Joe’s brown rice tortillas, but if you don’t act quickly, they get hard fast (I’m not even going to say it, haha).
Along with some candy cane dark chocolate almond milk 🙂
I’m off to take LaBlast from the creator himself (so excited!) and then to the airport.
See ya later today!
xoxo
Gina
*Hope all of my friends at Foodbuzz and Dole continue to have an amazing time- wish I could have been there! If you’re in San Francisco, please eat a block of goat gouda from Cowgirl Creamery for me 😉
Something to do: Schweaty November Workout!
Ready to get schweaty?
Thank you guys so much for the amazing feedback on the monthly workouts I’ve been posting- I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed them, and I’ll be sure to throw in more ab and leg burners this month to squeeze in in between holiday adventures and busy schedules. I love hearing what you think about the workouts, so when you give it a try, please leave a comment on this post and let me know how it went! It’s fun to cheer each other on this way, too.
Schweaty November Workout
You can do this workout in the comfort or your own home, with dumbbells, a medicine ball and a stability ball, or at the gym. Be prepared for staring potential from other gym-goers at your hardcore-ness. The cardio blasts in the workout make it FLY by and will leave you very nice and schweaty. Repeat on non-consecutive days or into your current fitness schedule as you’d like- hope you enjoy it!
*As always, check with a doc before making any fitness changes and honor your body and injuries <3

3) “The Change” Evanescence
4) “Candyman” Glee

6) “What I Be On (ft Fabulous)” Trey Song
7) “Drop Dead Beautiful” Britney Spears
8) “Noche de Entierro (Nuestro Amor)” Mas Flow, Los Benjamins, Daddy Yankee
I know what you mean about those brown rice tortillas. haha But they’re perfect for making baked tortilla chips because they get super crispy! 🙂
oooh that’s a great idea!
I really like your workouts, but I have yet to try any of them. Part of the reason is I’ve been on a exercise hiatus and I have no idea how to jump back in. Your workouts seems a little tough for someone like me, who is probably back at square one. Maybe for a “Focus On” post you could offer advice on how to get started, or how to get back in after you’ve fallen off the bandwagon?
totally. maybe a reader’s request for next week?
That would be awesome! Thanks!
I agree with Blake (Hi Blake!). I used to be a hardcore exerciser, but now I’m an occasional exerciser because it’s so frustrating. I’ve fallen somewhat out of shape and it’s hard for me to start from the ground up again. I keep wanting to jump back in but then I A) hurt myself and B) get really discouraged.
Hi Krystina! It’s nice to know I’m not the only one hahaha.
I third that! 🙂 Yay I’m not alone! haha
LOVE the tortilla comment hahaha! made my morning 😉
This has nothing to do with this post but were you still thinking about adopting another dog? I don’t remember reading anything else on it lol.
Also, I agree with Blake a “Focus On” post on how to get started would be outstanding!!
Ooh this looks like a good one Gina! I haven’t been watching Glee much this season but you just reminded me that I need to catch up on the songs!!
I’m going to plan on this being my workout today – looks fun!! I love that I can do it at home too. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
guuuurl, they now have peppermint patty dark chocolate coconut milk. OH MY GOSH. get it. get it in that belly to that baby. oooooh soooooo gooooood.
The sexual innuendos you’ve been dropping lately make me happy! 😀
Looks like a great workout! Consider it added to my plans. 🙂
looks like a good workout, nice and “schweaty!” just the way it should be. 🙂
Have a fun time this weekend. 🙂
I am pretty sure that I need a Renee’s Organic Oven next to my house! 😉
I wish this was posted a bit earlier this morning!! I was avidly checking for it while I was getting sweaty at the gym earlier! I suppose it’ll have to wait until Monday. I’m looking forward to it!
I’ve added so many of your ab burner moves into my regular workout routine and my abs hate (and sort of love!) you for it!!!
I’m totally doing that tomorrow! I’ll let you know how it goes!
Thanks for the workout Gina 🙂 It’s my rest day today, but I think it looks great! I really appreciate all of the time you put into these 😀
Looks like a great workout! I love all your workouts. I’m obsessed with we found love. Such a great song, it always pumps me up!
WOOT! I’m psyched to try this. Thanks, Gina!
I’m really excited to try this. I’ve been avoiding the gym lately but with a fun new workout plan, I might just have to go!
always love your playlists!!! adding some of these to my playlist now too – thanks!!
Renee’s organic oven always sounds so good and homestyle. I love those kinds of places that you can just go to whenever you’re in a pinch.
I definitely appreciate your circuit workouts (the schweatier the better) and the ab burners. I just thought of this – maybe you could do some complimentary burners like abs and back OR triceps and biceps OR quads and hammy’s. Over the past few years, I love that I’ve realized that even 10 min of exercise can be effective if it’s done right and I’m focused. Sure, 10 min a day won’t keep me in shape 7 days a week, but when time is short, 10 min is something.
I love the alphabet move! My abs are screaming just thinking about it! lol
Hey girl, this workout looks stellar. I definitely am going to try it soon. One suggestion, if I may, is to maybe put a link or explanation for each move, especially for the moves that are not as common knowledge. I may just be out of the loop, but sometimes I don’t know what some of the moves you suggest are, and I am normally able to google them, but it would be helpful if you put a little explanation! (I.e. medicine ball slam and medicine ball toe taps.)
Happy weekend!
I can’t wait to try the dark chocolate almond milk – you’ve piqued my interest way too much 🙂
Have a wonderful baby shower this weekend love! I know it will be beautiful!! Hope you enjoy the weekend with your friend visiting too!
I will have some of that goat loving for you!
<3 xoxo
That salad looks so beautiful – I love me some goat cheese with goddess dressing! Have you ever tried Cypress Grove Purple Haze goat cheese? If you haven’t…girlfriend – you are missing out. It is flavored with fennel and lavender and is seriously foodgasmic. I get it at Whole Foods and usually buy two or three at a time!
i haven’t, but it sounds amazing!
i LOVE “we found love”. randomly bought it on iTunes and blast it during every run. this workout looks great… can’t wait to try it out!
I hope you and your friend Hayley have a great time this weekend! Enjoy your girl time and can’t wait to see what you’re up to.
Hope the shower is awesome…as I’m sure it will be 🙂
I love the workouts of the month. I’m 6 months pregnant and I am finding it harder and harder to “want” to do my workouts so it nice that every few weeks you put a new one up. It helps keep me motivated! In fact, this blog in general motivates me.
Oh, and the more I see that chocolate peppermint almond milk concoction… I HAVE to make that this weekend for sure 🙂
………………….Thats what she said….
sorry just had to haha
oohhh…nice workout!! You should video a Tuesday Trainer move sometime for me, Gina!!
Thanks! I will be using some of your moves in tonight’s workout! Woop woop!
I have that same problem with my tortillas, and they’re not even GF! I find that sooo many multigrain kinds are really inflexible which is why I almost never have wraps anymore. 😛
totally did the workout today… it was just what i needed! i think the big muscle guys were getting a kick out of my pogo jumps though… this girl needs to work on her balance 🙂
I’ve been dying to try that dark chocolate almond milk! 🙂
it’s soooooooo good
I just did this workout and it was awesome!! I am definitely super schweaty! Side note: do you know of a youtube video showing the pogo jumps? I don’t think I was doing them properly and can’t find an example like you described 🙂
i’m looking, but nothing yet :/ i’m sorry!! so glad you liked the workout, though!
Woooo! Just did the workout! And I sureee ammmm schweaty! But I used to “Pump up the Jam” station on my Pandora radio!! Loveeed it!! (:
Woo! Tried it for the first time today and it was awesome! I can still feel it in my arms and I’m sure I’ll feel my legs will feel it tomorrow. At the end of the workout, I added a minute of bikes thinking that I hadn’t worked my abs as much as I usually like to. Within 15 seconds, I could tell that I was wrong – my abs were fatigued without me even realizing it. I’m gonna try to get past “M” on Friday!
so glad you had a great workout 🙂
Dearest Fitnessista,
I just finished the Schweaty November Work out and….
MY LEGS WANNA NINJA KICK YOUR BLOG IN THE BOOOTAY!…and they totally would if they weren’t so noodley!
WOW, what an amazing and humbling workout! I have wanted to try some of your work outs but was always doing other forms of exercise (keepitoutofthegutterheehee). Since I am out of town in a hotel all week I figured today was a great way to start….and now realize how out of shape I am. But, NO sad face, just determined face! I wanna get back in shape, thanks for the motivation.
ps.com I almost ATE it 5 times doing the abc abs….yeah, we’re going to incorporate that one in slowly!
wahoo!!! i’m glad your legs want to ninja kick me 🙂 and so happy you enjoyed the workout
