10/4: Friday Faves {sneak giveaway}
-My two favorite people in the world, relaxing on the hammock together.
Livi now asks me to please braid her hair most mornings. She’ll tell me if she wants a braid, Dorothy braids or a bun. I tell ya.
-Salmon tacos. We had taco night this week, and this 15-minute meal was blackened salmon with lettuce, avocado and a cumin-lime yogurt sauce on corn tortillas. I heated up some black beans to go with it and boom! Dinner was served.
Dessert: BTO
(Nutella and Reese’s flavor with Reese’s, hot peanut butter and chocolate chips…)
-A new kombucha scoby! The “mother” scoby is usually only good for about 3 batches, and none of my baby scobies were strong enough, so it was time to replenish the stash. I have a giant batch of kombucha fermenting away in the pantry and am so excited to play with some holiday-esque flavors 😉

-Physique 57’s new website and an all-new cardio sculpt option for their online classes. I haven’t been able to do P57 at home with half marathon training, but I’m so excited to check out their new workouts when the half is over. If you check out the new ones, let me know how they are!
-Fall decor. As soon as this post publishes, I’m heading out to the garage to bring in all of the Halloween decorations. Scary excited 😉

Crossfit Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Sat. Run on Sunday!
It’s my rest days this weekend but I did manage to do some foam rolling and stretching.
This weekend was a 16-miler and a much needed day of rest : )
We don’t own a car so we rented one for the weekend. Instead of spending hours shopping we got everything done pretty quickly. Such a nice change from the bus 🙂
5km Color Run this morning with some friends. We’re getting down and dirty!
Saturday was a 4 mile run and Sunday was a bike ride with the husband. We have a park near our home with horse trails, it always fun to see the horses while riding!
I am training for my first 10K, so this weekend was a 4.5 mile run!!
Recovering from last week’s 1/2 marathon. 5 miles on Tuesday and Thursday and 7 miles Saturday. Yoga today and Friday, and a new core conditioning class on Wednesday!
I am planning on doing a long run on Saturday (training for a half marathon) and taking a relaxing yoga class on Sunday.
I ran 3 miles and biked 9. Tried to take it easy on Sunday and rest up.

Had to work all weekend so my fitness plan included walking to work and back home again, always taking the stairs, and a yoga session Sunday evening to unwind after work.
I will be hill running and some made-up Bodyrocking. If the weather is bad..maybe a little Shaun T.
Saturday is my laundry day and off day after 5 days of exercise. Sunday is relaxing yoga and pilates!

My fitness plan this week is to work in some yoga so I am relaxed and centered before my family comes to visit this weekend.

Tuesday: 20 min run + GRIT (dancing to Rihanna at her concert)
Wednesday: Bikram
Thursday: 6 Mile Run + Stretch
Friday: Bikram (Charity Class for Breast Cancer Awareness)
Saturday: RPM
Sunday: REST!
This weekend I am planning to take it easy and go on a hike on Sunday. Not planning to do any long runs because next weekend is my half marathon and I don’t want to overdo it this week!
I plan to do a Crossfit class on Friday and Saturday!
Hot yoga!! haven’t been in a couple weeks, totally craving it. There will also be walks with the doggies and a rec league co-ed soccer game 🙂
My plans are long run across the beach, biking and taking a yoga class for relaxing my body (not at the same day:)). Great workouts at Physique57.com but I prefer visiting workout classes and not doing them from video. I like people around me:).
Light cardio + PT exercises to continue rehabbing my knee post-injury, and my usual Sunday yoga (my favorite time of the week!).
