Let’s all do the Friday dance 🙂 Hope you have something fun to look forward to this weekend, or even just some glorious relaxing 🙂 I’m teaching four classes, and excited to spend time with my little family on the beach.

Karaoke night! My mom offered to watch Liv one evening so we could have a night out. We went with Kyle and Meg to Union Public House for dessert + drinks.
I had this glorious creation called a Moscow Mule with vodka, ginger beer and lime:
and we all shared a chocolate waffle with ice cream.
Next: KARAOKE.
As tempted as I was by their fantastic Les Mis collection, I would never make anyone suffer through that, so I rocked out to “Sateria” by Sublime instead. The best karaoke songs are the ones where you don’t even hear yourself because the entire bar is singing so loudly 😉
We also have some legendary iPhone footage of the Pilot, Meg and Kyle rocking out. It was amazing on so many levels.
5 ways Fitbit is a ruining my life.
Newest candle obsession. This one smells EXACTLY like my favorite Henri Bendel fig candle, but it’s $15 and much easier to find. Earthy, fresh, and burning away while I type up this blog post.
THIS crossbody and these booties!!! Anyone else scary excited for fall? Halloween stuff is officially in stores, so I’m convinced that pumpkin spice lattes and boots aren’t too far away 😉
The movie might be better than the book.
The sweetest braid that madre did after cutting Livi’s hair:
Jojoba oil from Trader Joe’s. It makes a fantastic (and gentle) makeup remover.

I Love Rock and Roll is my favorite karaoke song, probably because I can’t sing and can just say the words to the song. This weekend we are going to have our pregnancy photos taken back where we got married almost five years ago to the day!

That Fitbit article is so true, I didn’t wear mine yesterday and all day I was thinking how far ahead my friends will be with their steps and how can I cheat some more steps into my day!! We are planning our first vacation to the US (from Australia), I can’t wait! Also I love that cup the Moscow Mule is in.

YES to fall! Lol that is probably my favorite season, is it sad that by July I’m like “hmmm is it pumpkin infused every time yet??”

I’m at a family reunion right now–so for the weekend I forsee unpacking, relaxing and having a homemade everything fajita party 🙂 Can’t wait!!
Hmm I’m not sure if I’m excited that fall will be here before we know it or not! Karaoke is always fun! We would go to karaoke nights during college

I LOVE karaoke! I used to go every week, but now it’s more of a special occasion. I sing a ton of songs, anything from Heartbreaker (Pat Benetar) to Thrift Shop 🙂
My weekend is full of fun plans. Tonight I’m doing a themed dinner with some of my coworkers and we’re doing Greek night! Tomorrow I’m headed to a Christmas in July party!
Can’t believe it’s almost August… and I love fall, but no wishing away the rest of the summer!!!!
Happy Friday! I wish I had a trip plan, I’m due for a visit to see my family in Florida. I really try and stay away from karaoke, but I’d love to belt out some Alanis Morrisette if I could. Moscow mules are really popular here in San Francisco. I’m not crazy about the taste overall, but I do love the ginger flavor.

When I was in college, the night before finals week, we had a big midnight breakfast party in the dining hall, complete with karaoke. I usually stuck to Madonna or Shania Twain (“Man! I feel like a woman” at a women’s college was basically just leading a sing-a-long). After about two years of taking voice lessons, I started using karaoke night to test out my jury music, and hopefully get validation through Broadway tunes. Then, on a cruise once, my sister and I sang “Tell Him” which was a song sung by Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand that we’d sung for our high school talent show when I was a freshman and she was a junior. We still had the harmonies down after eight years! I love karaoke. <3

Aren’t Moscow Mules great? Irish Mules are my favorite! They use Irish whiskey instead!

Does Union Public House have karaoke now? I was going to get down to Tucson this weekend but legal problems with my blog name prevented it. I love karaoke. My go to song is always Pat Benatar Hit Me With Your Best Shot.

Sounds like you have a fun and busy weekend ahead with all those classes! I’ve been teaching a LOT of BODYPUMP this week, and my body is done and in need of some rest. So, some major relaxing is on my agenda this weekend!

Did you read the book?? I’m pretty sure the movie would have to be better than the book! I couldn’t even get through it….I didn’t care for her writing style. The author made out like a bandit IMO…

That karaoke night sounds like so much fun! I agree, Les Mis would have been tempting but not really a fun song to sing in a bar! And I’m loving summer and summer dresses so much, but Fall things are def fun- love the colorblocking on that bag!

Moscow mules are one of my husbands favorites! There’s a night club near us called John Collins where MM’s are their specialty.

If you like the Moscow Mule, you should definitely try a Dark and Stormy! It’s the exact same thing except spiced rum instead of vodka. So good!

I love Moscow Mules! That’s a great karaoke song that you all sang by Sublime. I haven’t heard that song in YEARS!! Definitely adding it to my list for the next time I go to karaoke with co-workers!

This weekend and all of next week I’m going to be studying for the GRE but the good news is that two days after I take it I’ll be relaxing on a beach in Hawaii with a pina coloda in my hand 😉

This weekend I’m having vacation with my family in the town. I’m enjoying my yoga work-out outdoors breathing in fresh air and smell of wonderful trees 🙂 Amazing nature to get inspired for anything.
