A Dilemma [Giveaway Time]

Hi friends! How’s your morning going? The weekend is in sight!

lilly

(LOVE love lilies)

Sorry to those of ya who wanted a better shot of my shoes yesterday! I’m new at posting fashion-y stuff, so I appreciate your feedback… I’m a work in progress 😉 Here ya go:

So, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to blog about today.

It’s been challenging to get back in the routine after being away, and I’ve been munching omelets for dinner.

omelet omelet

So delicious, so easy.

After last night’s omelet, I got inspired…

lemon

and made some Meyer Lemon Lavender Macaroons 🙂

They’re just like my classic blonde macaroons, with refreshing, sweet citrus, and a fragrant lavender aroma.

roons

But the thing is, there are way too many of them.

roons (2)

My roomies and I could eat them all, but that would be no fun 😉

Want some?

Just leave a comment with your spring fitness goal and I’ll be happy to send some along to one lucky winner. I’ll choose the future roon-holder tomorrow (Friday) am when I wake up 🙂 [Everyone can enter- one of my last giveaway winners was in England!]

Off to work I go. See ya this afternoon! <3

xoxo

  3. Jessica on March 3, 2011 at 9:56 pm

My spring goal is to try a new class at a studio that just opened near me: The Bar Method. I have been wanting to try it, but too shy to go by myself. Hopefully I can get in there soon 🙂

  4. Joanna on March 3, 2011 at 9:58 pm

My spring goal is to try to walk for 30 minutes at least 3 times a week. I keep entering these, one time I will get picked! 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

I just started taking CorePower yoga classes. They put a lavender-lemon washcloth on your forehead during final savasana; it has made me decide I need more lavender in my life.

My spring fitness goal is four yoga classes a week, running 10 or so miles, planning food for my weekends and not just during the week in an effort to lose 10 pounds in time for a late spring trip to Costa Rica. The opportunity just came up, and it has been great motivation. Lavender-lemon macaroons may not fit well into my spring fitness goal, but at least they will fill the bill for getting more lavender in my life!

My Spring goal is to complete Insanity! I am doing a “pre-Insanity-Insanity” couple weeks and then committing completely after Spring Break. I am SO excited (and ravenous, actually!)

  7. Jen on March 3, 2011 at 10:05 pm

Hi! First off I’m so excited your pilot will be home soon! As a Navy girlfriend, I definitely understand what it’s like to hurry and wait for the grand reunion. 🙂

My spring fitness goal is to finally break off the same plateau weight! I’ve been at the same weight for about 9 months now..and I’ve finally enlisted the help of a personal trainer that I start seeing on Tuesday. I have a cruise planned in May and I’m hoping to make a dent in what’s left to goal by then!

  10. Sarah S on March 3, 2011 at 10:16 pm

my goal for the spring is to continue changing up my workouts and get back to being able to run 5 miles at a time… i used to love my long runs in the summer, but haven’t gotten myself into good enough running shape these past few summers to break 3 miles at a time.

  11. Cait on March 3, 2011 at 10:17 pm

My spring fitness goal is to train for (and complete) a 5k! I’ve done a few walking ones, and I really want to try running one-currently not a runner, but the Couch to 5k workouts start tomorrow!

  12. nadia on March 3, 2011 at 10:19 pm

My goal was to run a half marathon on May 1st (which I’d already registered for) and run it in under 2 hours again. However, I sprained my ankle 6 weeks ago and after seeing the doctor yesterday as it has still been bothering me after runs, I’ve been advised to avoid high-impact stuff for a few more weeks so it can fully heal. So… I guess my new goal is to heal my ankle and then train for a run – in Ottawa, where I’m moving in June!

  13. Errign on March 3, 2011 at 10:21 pm

My spring goal is to stay on track with my yearly mileage goal of 500 miles & to do more yoga!

  14. Jennifer on March 3, 2011 at 10:23 pm

My spring fitness goal is to lose 15 lbs by increasing my activity level and healthy eating. I gave up soda last year and already feel so much better. With my husbands ACSC graduation ball in June I want to look my best in my ball gown! Thanks for for writing such a great blog!

  25. Meredith on March 3, 2011 at 11:00 pm

Train for another half marathon! Preferably one with a fun destination 🙂

  26. Melissa on March 3, 2011 at 11:00 pm

Spring goal is yoga three times a week, running twice a week, and heavier lifting twice a week. All in an effort to loose 10 lbs and get into my prebaby bikini for summer 🙂

  27. Pfieffer on March 3, 2011 at 11:05 pm

I was really consistent with working out in February (Bar Method x 3/week, 1 spin and 1-2 runs) and now I’d like to add twice weekly interval-style workouts to help shed a stubborn layer of winter padding that’s keeping my toned muscles from showing! I’m thinking one Tabata-style workout and one Barry’s Bootcamp class (thanks Groupon!) a week.

  28. Autumn on March 3, 2011 at 11:07 pm

Spring goal is to do zumba 3 times a week, run twice and lift weights. I’d like to tone up my arms to look fabulous in a summer dress for my trip to California (1st time) in May.

  38. Tiffany on March 4, 2011 at 12:08 am

My spring fitness goal is to finish a mini-marathon at the end or April. This is the big season for races in my town (Louisville, KY).. Last weekend was a 5k, next weekend is a 10k, and at the end of the month is a 10 miler. I’m signed up for the whole triple crown, but to finish the mini would make me so happy! I actually made an inspiration board that only had to do with running/jogging as a huge fitness goal of mine, so to finish the mini, without being kicked off the course, is my goal for this year!

  39. Ashley on March 4, 2011 at 12:10 am

my spring fitness goal is to get back into running! i have taken the winter off and need to build back up for an august half marathon!

  41. Shelley on March 4, 2011 at 12:10 am

My spring fitness go is to get back into a fitness routine. Life has been so busy lately that working out is sporatic at best for me but when I do work out it’s a reminder of how good it felt to devote an hour 5x a week to fitness.

  42. Wendy on March 4, 2011 at 12:11 am

My goal is to start up with yoga again!

  43. Julia L. on March 4, 2011 at 12:21 am

  45. Gina on March 4, 2011 at 12:27 am

  48. alex on March 4, 2011 at 12:39 am

I have always been very consistent with my exercising, but i tend to fall off my diet from time to time. My goal is to take control of my diet by planning my meals and sticking to them!

  50. Rachel S. on March 4, 2011 at 12:47 am

My spring fitness goal is to pick up my pace with running and to start focusing on time instead of distance for awhile. And, also strictly adhere to cleaning up my diet and cutting out the unnecessary ‘clutter’.
