{Giveaway} Dehydration Station

Hiiiiii 😀 Happy Indian Food Wednesday! How’s your day going?

I’m so glad you guys liked the video I posted last night– pretty amazeballz, huh? I also LOVED reading about your pets’ nicknames. Glad we’re not the only weirdos out there 😉

(check out that LEG sticking out! She’s so funny)

We just got back from this morning’s 30 minute walk, and also went to the dog park (DP) so Bella could chase her friends around and collapse in the dirt.

B-fast for the Pilot:

pilot

(Sourdough English muffin with sundried tomato goat cheese, organic turkey, an over easy egg on each side, and 1/2 avocado with berries)

Perfect protein pancakes for me:

pancakes

BANANA SPLIT protein pancakes with a square of dark chocolate, 1/2 banana, organic strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Yes, yes, yesssssssssssssss <—-foodgasm

So I wanted to say a little “thank you” for being so lovely and supportive since the Pilot has been home, with house hunting and life in general, so I asked my friends at OpenSky if we could do a lil giveaway.

When I picked the item, I wanted it to be something I use all the time and LOVE, so it was really an easy choice.

    Hi Gina!
OK, so I realize that I am not the first to comment on your amazing offer… but I do believe that I would tremendously benefit from your offer! After working in the pharma industry (gasp!) for the last 10 years, I have recently followed my intuition to start my own heathy living and eco-friendly blog/business. I have diligently followed my inspirations including you, Kris Carr, and Gena Hamshaw learning valuable lessons about pursuing passion and exemplifying your dreams that I intend to take with me throughout my life. Implementing the use of a dehydrator in my daily meal prep would make a tremendous addition to the food regime I aim to share with others. Thank you so much! Megan =)

  20. Jen on April 7, 2011 at 12:49 am

I think the first thing I would make is fruit leather. I absolutely love fruit and we’re just starting to get nice stuff here as spring sort of rolls in, so I would love to experiment with that!

  21. Katie on April 7, 2011 at 12:57 am

  22. Megan on April 7, 2011 at 12:57 am

Ok, so I realize that I am not the first to respond to your amazing offer… how do you ever choose?? But I do believe that I would benefit tremendously! After working in the pharma industry for about 10 years (gasp!) I have recently decided to launch a healthy living and eco-friendly lifestyle blog. I guarantee that the products featured as a result of the addition of a dehydrator would take front and center. We are already experimenting with dried fruits & vegetables, macaroons, and kale chips and can’t wait to share recipes with the Fitnessista! Much Love, Megan

As an actress I am expected to be in tip top shape. It is literally my job. A job that doesn’t pay well at times. I need to save money where I can. By making my own dehydrated vegan treats I would be able to save money and stay on a healthy path! double jackpot!

  31. Sha on April 7, 2011 at 1:37 am

Hmmmm I would definitely be making some raw bread/crackers! Great giveaway!!

  39. Amanda on April 7, 2011 at 2:45 am

As a kid, I used to LOVE fruit-roll-ups! There was just something irresistible about the seemingly endless roll of sweet, (fake) fruity goodness. I don’t eat fruit-roll-ups anymore..and I haven’t for years. But I would LOVE to try my hand at some delicious, NATURAL fruit leathers!
Thanks so much for the offer, Gina! I adore your blog and read it every night before I go to bed! Its so inspirational and I always look forward to my nightly fix of fitnessista!

  40. Shelby on April 7, 2011 at 2:59 am

  41. jenny eats nutella from a spoon on April 7, 2011 at 3:16 am

i would make cheezy kale chips, hands down! here’s hoping i win!

  42. Claire on April 7, 2011 at 3:39 am

Oh I would make lots of fruit as my daughter loves dried out mango and I think I would make veggie burger. Trying to get a toddler to eat healthy and high raw can prove a nightmare when all they want is pizza and chicken nuggets. A dehydrator would open up a world of opportunities of new foods. Raw pizza bases , vegan desserts , lots of new breads. Never mind my daughter I am salivating just thinking about it.

  43. Kathy on April 7, 2011 at 4:38 am

I would most DEFINITELY make macroons first! Ahh yummm!

  44. Christine on April 7, 2011 at 4:48 am
