(Gorgeous full moon last night! Now if only I knew how to make my camera photograph it like an actual moon instead of a dot, that’d be kinda cool)

Well, that’s what happened yesterday 🙂

First I was excited to see a package that didn’t have the Amazon smiley face on it –those tend to pop up over here pretty frequently- and then I saw “perishable food” and things got even more ridic.

I couldn’t open the popcorn fast enough….

and put the pizza in the oven, just in time for the Pilot to get home from work.

Random acts of kindness are truly amazing, and whenever someone does something nice for me, it makes me want to share the positive energy with someone else… so I thought it would be a great day for a giveaway- it’s been a while since we’ve had one of those over here!

After reading the comments on yesterday’s YouTube fitness post, I remembered that many of you also enjoy working out at home, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite at-home workouts with a blog friend:

It makes it even harder to choose because Shaun T. is fun and verryyyy nice to look at, and Chalene is a firecracker of motivation and energy.

    honestly i love your winter shape up workouts, and I also love to do the nike training club on my iphone. i’d love to try out insanity.

    I had one of those pizzas not too long ago… I ship them in from Chicago every once in awhile. 🙂

    I have a set of resistance bands, so if I’m going to work out at home, usually I’ll go through a ton of resistance band exercises while watching 90210 off the DVR!

    Since I’m guessing an outdoor run in my neighborhood doesn’t count as an ‘at home’ workout…I’ll say fun ‘made up’ circuits, when freak weather happens that doesn’t allow for a gym trip these do the trick!

    First off! I have to say how much I enjoy your blog and all the positive energy you bring to my day! When I get to work, Fitnessista is the first thing I check. Even before my messages 🙂 so thank you so much for all the time and effort you give to this site and all your readers! You have inspired me more than I thought and I am even in the midst of possibly starting my own blog! 🙂

    Second. I have Insanity and absolutely LOVE it! It really did help me a lot! But I am so intrigued about TurboFire, unfortunately can’t spend for another BeachBody program at the moment. Thank you for the reviews on it!! It made me want it more and I am tempted to hint around to the hubby about it for an EARLY EARLY bday gift! Lol I have always had trouble with toning up and feeling comfortable with myself, I’m not the most unhealthy person, but my occasional slips make it almost impposible to find a good balance and make a difference in my body. Thanks to you though, I have lost fat and am slowly getting to where I want to be! Your encouragement is something so unique and valuable in my day-to-day activities now. So keep this up and don’t forget how much we all appreciate the work you put into this! I know I owe you a great deal and can’t not thank you enough. Tell the family hi! 🙂

    My new fave at home workout is my adorable baby barbell: the weight resistance increases on its own everyday 😉 (carrying a baby around is pretty good cardio too- although insanity would be way better!)

    My favorite at home workout is taking long walks up the mountain, with my little girl in the stroller. She loves being outside and it gives me a chance to spend quality time with her while getting a workout in!

    I like the Jillian Michaels DVDs at home – especially the 30 day shred! I pull that out when I’m in a rut. But I would love to try Insanity!!

    I would love to win insanity, many of my friends do it and love it. My favorite at home workout is anything I can do while holding (or wearing) my baby. I also love going on long walks with her and exploring our neighborhood.

    I am participating in the Best Body Boot camp over at tinareale.com. I have to say I am only two works outs in but this is by far the best work out I have EVER done at home. BEST=Favorite 🙂

    Running is my main form of exercise but when I do videos at home I usually like to do Bethenny Frankel’s yoga videos. I love her humor while holding poses. It makes it much more doable.

    I would LOVE to win Turbofire! My friend has recently done the challenge and has had great results! I love that you can get such results from working out at home! And Chalene is a great motivator! 🙂

    I grew up watching my mom work out to Denise Austin and Kathy Smith. Those were the first at-home DVDs I used. Now I’m addicted to Core Fusion plus some added strength training. I’d love to get into TurboFire!

    My favorite at home work out is Winsor Mat Pilates! When I don’t have Time to go to the gym, I put the hour long video on and feel the burn after!! Easy to follow… And there are three different levels for beginners, intermediate and advanced!

    I’d love to be the new owner of Turbofire and could really use the jump-start right now. For the moment, my favorite at home workout is a combo of 10 minute trainer & P90X. Tony rocks!!

    Monday at 10pm — I fall asleep with the TV on (Bravo no less). Tuesday at 4am — I wake up to the Insanity informercial. I’ve never seen it. need it. I need to have it. All day Tuesday, I read reviews of Insanity, tell my friend Katey in Chicago that I need to get it, and proceed to search Amazon for a used version to order. Wednesday at 10:15am — it still has not been ordered yet, as I am hesitant. Wednesday at 10:20am — Katey sends me this blog post.

    Coincidence? Or pure insanity?

    I recently purchased 2 yoga dvds and I love them both. Bethanny Frankel and Mandy Ingber. Both are great dvds that offer a little comic relief when I need it most!

    Right now my favorite at home workouts have got to be Zuzana’s ZWOW’s or Insanity! Nothing beats getting super sweaty, super fast 🙂

    My fav at home workouts are from the Nike Training Challenge app for iPhones. They are great, quick workouts to get my metabolism going in the mornings that I don’t have time to make it to the actual gym.

    I love to do Nike Training Club workouts at home. They always make me sweaty and DOMS-y :). I have been interested in Turbofire because you are always raving about it!

    3 days a week I work it out in the gym, the other 2 days I do an at home workout. There are two favorites that I absolutely LOVE! One is Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. My all time favorite workout video and my “Go To” when I need results fast is Mari Winsor Pliates video. The video included two workouts. The first is the 20 minute focus on the core muscles and the second is a 60 minute cardio workout.

    I came across this gem around 2am in 2005 while “enjoying” a sleepless night. It was the best 2am purchase I have ever made 😉

    If I am the lucky one who wins, I would go with the Turbo. Jillian is great but sometimes you need something new to mix it up.

    My into Jillian Michael’s DVD’s: 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30 – awesome and I just bought the Yoga Meltdown today.
    I have a 20 month old, work full time and my husband has been away for 7 months 🙁 So I can’t get to a gym and evening work outs are my thing now.
