Well, that’s what happened yesterday 🙂

First I was excited to see a package that didn’t have the Amazon smiley face on it –those tend to pop up over here pretty frequently- and then I saw “perishable food” and things got even more ridic.

I couldn’t open the popcorn fast enough….

and put the pizza in the oven, just in time for the Pilot to get home from work.

Random acts of kindness are truly amazing, and whenever someone does something nice for me, it makes me want to share the positive energy with someone else… so I thought it would be a great day for a giveaway- it’s been a while since we’ve had one of those over here!

After reading the comments on yesterday’s YouTube fitness post, I remembered that many of you also enjoy working out at home, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite at-home workouts with a blog friend:

It makes it even harder to choose because Shaun T. is fun and verryyyy nice to look at, and Chalene is a firecracker of motivation and energy.

    I have a step dvd I love to do at home. I also love walking my dog when it is nice out, so peaceful. 🙂

    I have a lot of options when I work out at home. We have a treadmill, weights, balance ball, various exercise videos, a Wii fit, and a stationary bike. Lately, I have been running on the treadmill for most of my home workouts, but I do like workout videos too. I would love to try the TurboFire workouts, it sounds fun!

    I absolutely adore my Physique57 and Bar Method DVDs! They are great for doing not only at home but while on the road as well (and I travel quite a bit so these help me stick to my exercise routine). I would love to try TurboFire – I take a TurboKick class at the gym and want to take it to the next level!

    Usually if I’m working out from home, it means I’m heading out on a run. My fave video is Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, or circuit workouts from bloggers & magazine. I’ve wanted to try Insanity for a while! I’m 6 months preg right now, and I am expecting to switch to more at-home/in-home work outs once there’s a baby in our lives.

    Jillian’s workout DVDs (any of them!) are my favorites because she can kick your ass in a short amount of time! I’d love to try Insanity, although it scares me a little (or a lot!).

    My favorite at home is anything from Chalene Johnson, especially Turbo Fire and I’ve recently started the Les Mills Body Pump at home version from Beachbody! Awesome combination! I’ve always wanted to try Insanity but been a little bit intimidated!

    I like to mix it up with home workouts. Change begets change right? Some favs: physique57, corefusion, and Jillian. I’d love to win insanity to help me lose baby weight after June 🙂 my thoughts to the Westlakes, obviously health of little ones is on my mind now!

    Your friends are AMAZING to send you that food. That deep dish looks amazing!

    When I work out at home, I usually start out with a 2-5 mile run depending on how I’m feeling and then end with some kettlebell training or at home/yoga pilates.

    The macaroons I swooon!!! Okay for the real question, P90X is the only one I have done and I like it, but I so much more like being outside just me & the moon! My daughter likes Jillians Shred video.

This is the first time ive commented on your blog before, but i have been reading and keeping up with you for a couple weeks now (found you through another blog, not sure which one…). Anyways, I LOVE reading your daily posts, as well as your “pregnancy” posts! I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and your blog truly inspires me to be as healthy as I can throughout my pregnancy, and also after! Soooo since you were doing a workout video giveaway i thought I’d enter- maybe something i could use in a few shorts months to help get me back in shape, but the macaroons would definitely be useful now!;) anyway, thanks for sharing your life- you have a beautiful family and I will enjoy watching the growth of your lil angel through your blog!     I love to do the elliptical or run outside (when the weather is nice). Also, Jillian Michael’s DVDs often make an appearance on my tv. Good stuff!

    Stop.It.Right.Now. I had originally (jokingly) told
    my pilot I wanted a Louis bag as my push present,
    and then said “okay but really, I would love to own
    the Turbofire DVDs so you can have your sexy wife back.” Haha.
    Like how I make it about him?

    My current almost-daily workout is a long walk followed by some
    amazing stretches I’ve learned in prenatal classes. Pre-pregnancy, I
    would make up my own circuit workouts with various equipment I have
    (dumbbells, bosu, jump ripe, etc) and do them in our
    workout room. I can’t wait to get back to those. Come on June!

    My favorite at-home workout is Just Dance for Kinect. My husband is in pretty good shape, and never believed me when I would try to explain how great of a workout dancing can be. I made him play with me a few weeks ago – he was huffing and puffing after about 3 songs, and finally admitted defeat!

    My favorite was Bodyrock (I think I heard of them through you or maybe through Edible Perspective) but now they’re a bit overly sexual for my taste. These days I’ve been doing my Insanity DVDs if I work out at home. I have wanted the Turbofire DVDs to add to my collection, though!

    Thanks for the giveaway 🙂 I love at home workouts and do them when I dont feel like going to the gym or to Bar Method for a class. My go-to workout is usually Physique 57 but I also enjoy TIU girls as well as Exhale Bootcamps. I like to mix up my workouts to keep things interesting and would love to try Turbo Fire, I love dancing so it sounds fun.

    If I don’t have time to make it to the gym, I use exercise tv on demand cable to do yoga or interval training. Not as fun as going to a zumba class, but it works!

    Right now I love Jillian Michaels – her workouts are short and intense so they fit into my schedule of full-time work, full-time parenting, and part-time school 🙂

    I’m a pretty big Jillian fan when it comes to workouts at home. I’d like to find some good cardio workout videos that don’t involve weights so I could do them in between weight training days – anyone have any good suggestions?

    I’m almost embarrassed to say I own every one of Jillian Michael’s DVDs, but I’m not. I like the variety and the intensity she provides for home workouts. And oh my macaroons!!!!!

    I like Jillian Michaels 30 day shred it’s quick to do on mornings when I have to be at work early. But helps me start my day on a healthy note 🙂 When I have more time I like Jackie warner as well.

    My favorite at home workout is 30 Day Shred. It is a great change to a normal workout routine and I am able to get a really good workout in 20 minutes! Also, Jillian Michaels reallllllly scares me. 🙂

    I have a hard time getting motivated to work out at home. I used to LOVE the Tae Bo tapes back in the day and was completely addicted! I lost a ton of weight with those, but other than the 30 day shred, I don’t do much at home anymore. I tried Turbo Jam when it came out and just felt silly. I think I’d feel the same way with Turbo fire. I just can’t seem to get the moves down.

    That said, I would LOVE to do Insanity! I’ve had it in my wish list on Amazon for a while and just haven’t got it yet. 🙂

    I loVE them both! Our old base offered turbo kickboxing at the gym and I fell in love. A group of work friends at work are currently rocking insanity in the conference room during lunch. I would love to get my hands on turbofire!

    1st off, I love Garrett’s popcorn. We work with an agency in Chicago and they’ll occasionally ship our office a big bucket of it. It’s seriously crack. Most amazing popcorn I’ve ever eaten.
    2nd – for at home workouts, Jillian rocks my world. I have nearly all of her DVD’s with my fave being 30 shred.

    I love doing turbo jam – it’s just so energy packed so I never get bored, no matter how many times I do it! So i would love to be able to try turbo fire and see how it compares!

    I would love to try out Insanity – I’ve heard such great things about it on your blog and on others! Some of my friends have even mentioned wanting to try it. Now that I’m in college, it’s nice to find some dorm-room workout options for those days when getting to the university gym just feels like too much.

    This giveaway is amazing!!! I love doing Bodyrock and ZWoww workouts at home… and sometimes I make up my own tabata plyo routines to kick my own butt. Nothing like Zuzana, though 😉
