Share the love {giveaway}

Don’t you love when something totally unexpected makes your day a little brighter?
(Gorgeous full moon last night! Now if only I knew how to make my camera photograph it like an actual moon instead of a dot, that’d be kinda cool)
Well, that’s what happened yesterday 🙂
First I was excited to see a package that didn’t have the Amazon smiley face on it –those tend to pop up over here pretty frequently- and then I saw “perishable food” and things got even more ridic.
A package of Chicago foodie goodies from our good friends Mara and Adam 🙂
Carol’s cookies, Garrett’s popcorn and a deep dish pizza. No words.
I couldn’t open the popcorn fast enough….
and put the pizza in the oven, just in time for the Pilot to get home from work.
Random acts of kindness are truly amazing, and whenever someone does something nice for me, it makes me want to share the positive energy with someone else… so I thought it would be a great day for a giveaway- it’s been a while since we’ve had one of those over here!
After reading the comments on yesterday’s YouTube fitness post, I remembered that many of you also enjoy working out at home, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite at-home workouts with a blog friend:
Winner’s choice: Insanity or Turbofire
You can read my reviews in the links above and decide whether you would prefer a drill-based high-impact workout, or a dance meets kickbox high-energy workout. It makes it even harder to choose because Shaun T. is fun and verryyyy nice to look at, and Chalene is a firecracker of motivation and energy.
All ya have to do:
-Leave a comment with your favorite at-home workout option
(If it’s your first time commenting, I’ll be approving those throughout the day, so no worries if it doesn’t show up right away)
This giveaway is sponsored by Livi and Bella- the winner will be chosen tonight at midnight EST and announced tomorrow am.
To sweeten the deal:
Hope you have an amazing humpday!
See ya later with a Family post.
xoxo

Yoga-download and a long run outside (if the weather is cooperating!)
I like to walk and use the kids in addition to my body weight as resistance here at home. We can watch YouTube videos on our new TV without doing to much work so I am going to give that a try.
We will keep Brenna and her family in our thoughts and prayers.
this is awesome! Jillian is my go to at home workout but i’ve been dying to try both of these! thanks livi and bella! 🙂
i don’t know what’s more exciting – the dvds or the macaroons. 🙂
i think i’d like to try insanity. i do p90x now and LOVE it/ heard a lot of the x-ers like insanity.
I’ve been doing Core Fusion at home, and would love to kick it up a notch (or several notches!) with Insanity or Turbo Fire!
I’m a sucker for anything on Fitness TV On Demand. I love having the variety of options avaliable right on my tv! It’s a great way to test our workout dvds.
I love youtube yoga/pilates videos…
Oooh, very exciting!! My favorite at-home workout is doing the 10-minute videos from FitSugar. I like that I can pick and choose different techniques and types of exercise, and do a few back-to-back to really get a great workout.
After reading about both DVD programs on your blog, I’ve really wanted to try them, especially TurboFire! And I was hoping there *might* be some macaroons in there when you tweeted that something smelled delicious 🙂 I’ve been dying to try your signature recipe! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
Bodyrock followed by some yoga!
I like to do Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred at home. Would love to try either TurboFire or Insanity!
My favorite at homework out is Insanity or 10minute trainer on a day when I don’t really want to workout! I also love having the option to run from my house on days I just want to go out and relax!
Love to do yoga at home. It’s a nice way to relax in the evening after a stressful work day. I would love to try TurboFire!! Something new to add to my routine!
Just Dance 3 or the Black Eyed Peas Expereince for Wii!! Gets the whole family moving and laughing.
I’m loving the Zumba fitness DVD’s right now :]
I do a lot of at home works since I started my current job, and my favorite is Insanity for sure, LOVE getting my sweat on with Shaun T !! Have always wanted to try TurboFire though, hear such good things (:
oooh! I’ve always wanted to try Insanity and TurboFire! I really want to get a full body workout–because the only thing I can really stick with on a regular basis is running (and when I can afford reformer pilates).
I liked the video!
Hi Gina-
I have Turbo Fire and love it, but am thinking I need a change up. I have been seriously contemplating Insanity! 🙂
Have a great day! Thanks Livi and Bella!
Being a recent graduate from medical school really didn’t leave much time OR $$ to have a gym membership, so the best way to go about staying healthy and keeping active is to do workouts at home. I personally used to love love love Tae Bo!!! So Turbo Fire would be the next on my list “to try” and love!!! 🙂
I love New Rules of Lifting for Women, and I just started doing Cardio Burn Yoga from Gaiam, which I found to be surprisingly challenging!
I’ve always loved Beach Body workouts at home… Power90 was my go to for awhile and I LOVE P90X!
I love to do zumba at home!
My favorite ones have been anything with “Jillian Michaels” in the title and I LOVE Bob Harper’s “Yoga for the Warrior”!
I have been doing Insanity at home, which I really enjoy — it is perfect for when I can’t get my butt out the door to the gym on extra cold days in NYC (I have about a 6min run to the gym to work out, ugh!)
I would LOVE to try Turbo Fire! My fingers are crossed!
yoga download (the podcast) is amazing- the FREE 20 minute ones are perfect for quickie workouts, or building a longer one. The hip opening flows are a-mazing 🙂
PS. those roons look amazing (; hehe
yoga!
Since time is usually pretty crunched for me, I like Jillian’s 30 day shred. Its a pretty good workout in only 25 minutes.
I love bodyrock and Jillian michaels 30 day shred. Jogs outside with my 10 month old are fun too!
I love the on-demand yoga and pilates workouts on exercise tv!
I love Jillian Michaels 6 week to a 6 pack and her 30 day shred! I would love to try Turbo Fire!
I love the videos from yogadownload.com and my favorite quickie to get my heart rate going is Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred.
Great giveaway! I’ve been so intrigued about Turbo Fire since reading about it on your posts! Thanks!
I love walking around my neighborhood! I also love my elliptical, but nothing beats going out and getting fresh air first thing in the morning 🙂
My favorite at home workouts are usually a combo of my iphone Workout Trainer app (usually body weight or using soup cans) followed by 45 minutes Zumba from my OnDemand. I used to be a gym rat and didn’t think I could ever get in a “good enough” workout at home. I was so wrong. These leave me a sweaty mess!
insanity pleaseeeeeeeeeee!
i love p90x
This is such an amazing giveaway…Thanks Livi and Bella! I’m a huge fan of the gym, but I will occasionally do Jillian’s 30 Day Shred and yoga DVD’s.
My favorite at home workouts has to be wii fitness games. It doesn’t even feel like working out 🙂
Definitely yoga! I’ve become a youtube yoga master.
I’d love to try the insanity though!
Like a lot of the other comments, I am also a big fan of yoga practice at home.
My favourite would be Eoin Finn DVDs. Such a great yogi!
When Billy Blanks released Tae-Bo I couldn’t get enough, I loved doing those DVDs at home..punching and kicking and sweating my face off like a crazy-lady.
I love bodyrock followed by a yoga session 🙂
My favorite at-home workout is P90x. I’m about half way through the second month and LOVE it. I was planning on just doing it again when it ends (it’s seriously better than any classes at my gym so I’m thinking of getting rid of my membership since I have an elliptical, road bike and can run outside for cardio).
Just checked out the blog and video about Baby Brenna… what a strong family! I wish them the best (and “liked” it… good luck!)
Walking up and down the stairs… I really need a new routine.
I love practicing yoga at home but am very interested in Insanity!
OOo what a great giveaway – Thanks to Livi and Bella : )
My favorite workout at home is either insanity (stolen from my bf) or pilates videos. I would love to try Turbo Fire though! And of course, I drool everytime I see your macaroons on the blog.
Awesome giveaway! 30 Day Shred is usually my go to home workout, but I really can’t stand Jillian Michaels in the video. I also love rolling out my yoga mat and working on a home practice.

I am also dying to try one of these 🙂
I know you’re not a big Jillian fan, but I love her workout DVDs. The only problem is my body is used to all of them! A new workout plan would really help get me out of this slump. Thanks for hosting the giveaway! =)
My new (to me) workout at home is a yoga session.. I totally zone out and feel so fantastic afterward. Thanks for the chance to win the giveaway!
