Sweet Friday Giveaway

It’s another lovely, cool day over here. It’s very refreshing to walk outside without being blasted with heat.
I’m a little late blogging this morning since I had to take my car to the dealership to be serviced. The good news is that they offered me a loaner car to have for the day, but I can’t find the emergency brake on it and keep picturing it rolling back from the driveway and crashing into our across-the-street neighbor’s mailbox.
I packed up some oats with almond milk and a crumbled Chocolate Cherry Torte Larabar to take with me to the dealership:
and couldn’t help but notice this surplus of almonds while I was scrounging for breakfast ingredients.
Since it would take forever to polish off that giant bag of almonds by myself, I think they’re destined for macaroon glory.
So how about a little giveaway?
Since the weather is cooling down, I thought it would be fun to talk about how you change and adapt your workouts in the fall weather.
For this giveaway, just leave a comment and let me know what your favorite fall/winter workout is. For me, I take more of my workouts outside to take advantage of the cooler temps, and when it actually gets to the freezing point, lots of hot yoga to warm up.

I run and do as much as I can outside in the Fall before it gets cold for the winter.

For me my fall workout will be taking my yoga mat out by the pool in the early am and late afternoon for some beautiful yoga sessions with either a sunrise or sunset 🙂

Favorite fall/winter workout is when it gets cold enough for ice and I can ice skate!
Definitely one of the best ways to work up a sweat.
It’s cold here in the winter and I just started a new personal training job at an awesome gym, so I think my favorite cold-weather workout this year will be lots of spin and body pump classes!
We still like to hit the gym but the cold air outside when we’re done feels amazing!
Hot yoga and long stroller walks with my 2 monthmold little girl;)

I like to take an extra evening stroll or bike ride with my kids.
I LOVE running in the cooler temps. I will run in the cold winter, but fall is the BEST with the colorful leaves! Finding as many races as I can this season!
I take advantage of the fall as it is perfect running outside weather but once it gets too cold i take it inside to spin or aerobics classes. This also helps to switch things up so I don’t get bored.
My favorite fall workout is definitely a bike ride or a nice jog around the town!
My favorite cold weather workout….swimming. I know it is a little weird, but I love to warm up after in the hot tub.
I like to get up early and go to spin class! The cool fall air is nice and crisp when I get out!
Nothing too intense, but I take WAY more walks in the fall. It’s so nice to be outside when it’s not super hot, and we have a lot of lakes where I live to walk around!

Favorite fall/winter work out? Turbokick! I love hopping/dancin’ around with other people getting my groove on! I find it more difficult to work out in the colder months, so I really thrive on the energy during a group sweat sesh!
I always run outside until it gets to about 10 degrees or below. brrr!!!!

My favorite fall/winter way to work up a sweat is Kickboxing. Nothing like getting all those body parts in fast and furious synchronized motion to celebrate the colder days and the new energy they seem to bring.
In the fall I like my regular workouts outdoors where the cool weather feels good, in the winter I love ice skating and sledding (it can be a workout!).
my favorite fall workout activity is bike riding thru the national parks by my house, I love the leaves!
I love biking outside in the fall..the weather today was so beautiful I wanted to escape the office for a run (and I am NOT a runner by any means, haha). I love fall!
My favorite fall workout is hot yoga. I love the double whammy of internal and external heat that warms up my chilly Michigan body.

Loving the fall weather right now so twice a week i take my little girl down to Huntington beach for a jog just wish I could do this more.
Let’s be honest girls…a little “cuddlin'” with our counter parts would definitely help us stay warm on those cold nights, lol;) But seriously, as a mom of “Irish twins” (a 4 and 5 year old…who are the same age for 3 weeks lol) doing zumba before work ( elementary school teacher), and walking with the fam at night to check out holiday decorations…that spells Fall/Winter for me:)
Awesome giveaway! For the cool fall weather, I like to get outside more often for my workouts (biking, running, and even weights). When the freezing cold winter weather comes my way, I’m at my yoga studio as often as possible for hot flow and bikram yoga classes- such an amazing way to warm up during the cold Canadian winters!
I love waking up early and going for a breezy jog with my dog before school! So relaxing! And it starts my school days off great! (:

My favorite fall workout is definitely running /biking…..here in Florida we have great fall and winter weather, so anything to get me out in the fresh air will do!!
Walking with our two dogs in the cool, crisp air. My fave part is stepping on the really crunch leaves on the ground! I go out of my way to crunch them. Love it!

Biking, horseback riding, running with my dog.. I just love being outdoors and embracing all that autumn has to offer! Catching that last bit of sunshine and warmth before the days get shorter & the temps drop. Then it’s hot yoga and spin class!

I love going on long hikes with the family. We live in the desert so I feel like we just spent all summer hiding in the air conditioning and now I’m ready for some fresh air!
Cardio barre! It’s a fun mix of dance moves and strength training. And it makes going out on weekends with friends even more satisfying. 🙂
