Winter Shape Up 2015: Week 3

Hi friends! Welcome to Week 3 of Winter Shape Up! Anne and I are absolutely loving all of your amazing check-ins from the first two weeks; keep up the hard work and that incredible intensity! I’m so happy that you’re enjoying the workouts and videos so far, too. <3

    Yesterday was a running day for me. Today I’m doing pump, maybe tack on one of your abs workouts too…swimsuit season is coming 🙂

    Today is a rest day but I just have to go to yoga after work. 🙂 From the past 2 days of working out my muscles/entire body feel super strong but also pretty tired. Can’t wait to stretch!

    Today I just did workout #2 before work and I hope I have time later to do #3 again. Maybe I can get my husband to do it with me after dinner, HA! My legs still feel like rubber from Monday, so we’ll see if I can handle it. JK I totally can. 😉

    Switching the schedule around a bit this week, so did workouts #2 and #3 this morning, plus a few minutes of arm strength.

    5 mile run this morning, it was chilly and hilly but I’m glad I did it! Training for a 9 mile run in April… gotta start running outside even when the weather is my enemy! Loving Winter Shape Up this year!!

    I am all sorts of messed up schedule-wise this week! I did about 40 minutes of interval cardio last night and workout #3. Today I did 30 minutes of steady state as I had taken off Monday. Tomorrow I aim to get back on schedule with workouts #2 and #3!

    I moved the schdule a bit this week but I just finished worked 2. Tried to find workout 3 on YouTube (via play station) but had no luck. I’m having a hard time finding some of these — anyone else have that problem? I spent so much time looking I almost ran out of workout time so I finished with the total body batte workout. Better than nothing right?

      I clicked the workout 3 link and watched it from Fitnessista’s website. I haven’t found it on youtube.

    I’m so behind in my comments, but trying to keep up with the workouts. Didn’t make it to the gym yesterday because of the weather, so did workout #1 x 3 at home!

    Woke up with tons of energy, so I decided to work out instead of taking a rest day. I completed a 30 min arm and ab circuit workout and a 3 mile run! 🙂

    Monday was a 30 min strength circuit and 3 mile run in the morning, followed by an afternoon barre class at my gym at work! 🙂 My legs wanted to fall off, haha.

    So today is a rest day, and my original plan was to do tomorrow’s workout tonight, but I am feeling super sore/uncomfortable today either from overdoing it yesterday (walking steady state incline + 30 min bootcamp class) or the round ligament pain is just in full effect today. So! I did a 30 minute treadmill walk on lunch and probably will take it easy the rest of the day.

    Workout 4 done, 2 rounds of it. Was contemplating 3, but my shoulders are not liking how arm-heavy all the planks/jumps/tabletop/dips etc ended up being. And my dog just headbutted me… so that seals the no on that one! So now for 30 minutes on the treadmill instead!

    Enjoying a much needed active rest day so my knees can recover. Shoveled a light snow fall then took the pup for a chilly 45 minute walk in the sun (temp was 11 and falling with a negative windchill) =)
