093: Tips for new years goals and resolutions

– Aim for SMART goals: specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely.

– Ask yourself โ€œwhyโ€ over and over again until you realize your true motivation between your goals.

– Choose something that makes you feel excited, or something that will benefit you somehow.

– Create an action plan with specific benchmarks for your goal throughout the year.

– ACT as if youโ€™ve already achieved this goal.

– Remind yourself of your top three goals each day and place these reminders in a visible spot.

– Donโ€™t be afraid to pivot as priorities and circumstances change throughout the year. If something doesnโ€™t work out, think of it as FEEDBACK, not FAILURE.

Iโ€™ve always been curious- do you get enough protein when you eat Sakara? It seems lime Iโ€™d be hungry and would need to supplement. Thanks!

it really depends on the meals, my activity levels and hunger those days, and if i add anything, it’s something we already have in the fridge. sometimes i’ll have some chicken sausage with the breakfast or a hard-boiled egg or two. sometimes i split the salads into two meals (depending on how hungry i am because they’re HUGE) and will add some leftover chicken, tuna, or deli turkey. i love splitting up the salads because i get extra meals out of it this way

The breakfasts are my favorite from Sakara, but expensive to do just for those! The salads are huge and they easily make several meals. I am not a huge cruciferous vegetable person and they are a big component of the salads/meals so I stopped getting them since I didn’t eat those parts!
