10/4: Friday Faves {sneak giveaway}
-My two favorite people in the world, relaxing on the hammock together.
Livi now asks me to please braid her hair most mornings. She’ll tell me if she wants a braid, Dorothy braids or a bun. I tell ya.
-Salmon tacos. We had taco night this week, and this 15-minute meal was blackened salmon with lettuce, avocado and a cumin-lime yogurt sauce on corn tortillas. I heated up some black beans to go with it and boom! Dinner was served.

(Nutella and Reese’s flavor with Reese’s, hot peanut butter and chocolate chipsโฆ)
-A new kombucha scoby! The “mother” scoby is usually only good for about 3 batches, and none of my baby scobies were strong enough, so it was time to replenish the stash. I have a giant batch of kombucha fermenting away in the pantry and am so excited to play with some holiday-esque flavors ๐

-Fall decor. As soon as this post publishes, I’m heading out to the garage to bring in all of the Halloween decorations. Scary excited ๐

Running and stretching!
I’m trying crossfit for the first time this weekend!
Upper body weights today and lower body weights tomorrow.
I definitely want to get outdoors and do some walking/hiking with my family! This weather is AWESOME!
In between studying and doing homework I plan to hit up the gym both today and tomorrow when my eyes feel like they’re about to fall out from all the work!
I’m really awful at going to the gym if it’s not first thing in the morning, but I’ve got a writing exam, so this afternoon it’s off to go arms and hopefully a little running! And ideally, I would love to go for a long run tomorrow morning, but I might be back in the gym for more weights. I’m going through a weights-phase right now!

Today is one of my best college friends birthdays! Yesterday I took a spin class with yoga after. Today I am taking a spin class to jump start my day and prepare for tonight! I am so happy I can finally work out after suffering from tendonitus in my foot due to Nike training shoes with not enough support! I returned these shoes but now desperately need new sneakers! I would love to try these shoes — I am stearing clear of Nike!
I have a seven miler with fast finish in the plan for today!
I walk. A recent study shows it slashes breast cancer risk and, honestly, it’s the only plan I’m really likely to stick with this weekend!
My fitness plan? To rest and recover from a nasty bout of flu. Sometimes rest is what you need!

After skimming through these posts, I am feeling guilty I am taking the day off today to watch the Ducks obliterate the University of Colorado. Can I stretch while tailgating? Does a 3 hour hike tomorrow counteract all the fatty snacks and (gluten free) beer I am weighing myself down with today? I have been thinking about Crossfit too – perhaps tomorrow is the day to go check it out.
Family walk/jog today and prob rest day tomorrow.

Today is up in the air and tomorrow is a 5K run for the cure (for breast cancer research).
I did my long run (12 miles) yesterday morning so today I get to do yoga and go for a walk with a friend!
I have a 6-8 mile run today and weight lifting circuit and tomorrow will be a long run somewhere between 10-13 miles!
I love the fall! Training plan for next week… A friend and I have been training for a 1/2 marathon and it’s happening next Saturday! So next week will be more of a down week…

I’ll be running this week (doing C25K program), on my days off I like to do some yoga.
I found a new awesome park yesterday so I’m going to spend my Sunday morning running with my husband and shopping in the Farmer’s market (which is also a fitness plan with all these miles to walk, let me ell you! haha)
My weekend workout plans include a shake-out, two-mile run this morning (check!), a 10-12 mile run on Sunday, and hopefully a yoga class thrown into the mix somewhere. ๐

I’m in college and this morning my roommate and I hiked the mountain close by, about 2040 ft high. It was quite difficult but felt amazing! Tomorrow I’m signed up for a Les Mils Body Attack class ๐ Definitely need new shoes!

Yoga on Saturday then the Susan G. Komen breast cancer 5K on Sunday at UCF!! Super excited for the race and seeing all the support for a great cause! ๐
