The Only Thing That Can Be Overdressed….
Hi guys! How was your weekend??? Ours was pretty ridiculous 🙂 Before I get into the deets, the winner of the 3 jars of almond butter + some vegan cookies is:
Vanessa!
Congrats, girl! Send me your info to fitnessista at gmail dot com so I can get those goodies on the way 😀
After checking in yesterday, I went to an incredible Power Hour yoga class at MBody Yoga, then walked back to the hotel to explore the beach with the Pilot.
(It was SO humid, so the pics came out a lil foggy)
We came back to the room and got ready for dinner.
Outfit:
The best part:
Since we had some time to kill before our dinner reservation, we did some shopping damage at St. John’s Town Centre.
I snacked on a Cullen juice (carrot, apple + beet) from Healthy Way cafe whilst shopping:
And then we went to MELTING POT to fondue it up 😀
Melting Pot is kind of our “place” – we love it.
Mocktail:
(club soda with a splash of cranberry)
Fiesta cheese with lots of jalapenos:
Dippers:
(I dominated the apples and carrots)
Salad:
I’m a strong believer that the only thing that can be overdressed is a salad. I forgot to ask for dressing on the side, so this salad was quite overdressed. Still bueno, though 🙂
Lobster feast 2010:
(Ahi tuna, shrimp, lobster, pork and dumplings for the pilot)
Cooked in vegetable bouillon with garlic, orange, lime and cilantro:
(we cook the veggies and seafood first, then the pork for the pilot)
with veg:
It was incredible, but not as incredible as THIS:
Dessert! A plethora of goodies (my faves were the banana and the brownie bites)
dipped into…
dark chocolate and peanut butter:
I die.
It was a lovely meal with even lovelier company 😉
We’re about to pack up and head back to Valdizzy, but I’ll see ya later tonight with the rest of our trip- I still have a lot of pics to share with ya’ll!
Have a great day <3
Gina

Those shoes are killa, girl!
I second that! They look great.
It looks like you’re having a blast !!! Can’t help it at the beach, right ??
Just wanted to tell you I finally opened my Sun Warrior protein (that I bought for the first time during your promo) and I used it in your smoothie (with spinach instead of Spiralina) and I am in LOVE with both the SW AND your smoothie recipe !!!!!!!!!! Both are fantastic ! Thanks for sharing all the good stuff ! 🙂 🙂
Love The Melting Pot! One of my Favs!

You look so pretty!! 🙂 Those shoes are amaz! I can’t believe you went shopping in them! ha I would’ve died!
no way, i wore gladiators while i was shopping and put heels on for dinner 🙂 i would have died, too 😉
LOVE that dress! Where did you get it?
express 🙂
YUM! I haven’t been to a fondue place in years. This was a good reminder of how delicious and fun it can be!
I love your shoes!! Where did you get them?
forever 21!
Wow that looks so good. Love your dress, so cute.
my mouth is watering! looks like you had a great time!
I am curious, what made you become quasi vegetarian? You do not eat meat right? But you do seafood? Have you ever tried to convince the pilot to give up meat as well?
seafood is the only *meat* i’ll eat. the pilot is a flexitarian- i’ll make organic meat for him sometimes at home, but sometimes, like me, he’ll eat totally vegetarian. i don’t eat meat for health reasons and the pilot said one day he might be a vegetarian, but there’s no pressure 🙂
Your dress is so cute! And I really need to go to this Melting Pot one day – it always looks amazing
LOVE your outfit – those shoes are hot! I need to invest in a pair of heels. Enjoy your day 🙂
mmmm melting pot! so jealous 🙂
You are such a hot mama (to puppies of course!) 😉
Glad to see you and the pilot had such a fun dinner. I have heard really good things about the melting pot, I need to find one around me!

Wow! I love your shoes! 🙂 I can’t believe how humid it is out there.
Such a cute outfit! Love it!
I haven’t been to the melting pot in years. When I went back then they did not have near as many options as your meal. I want to go back badly now.
LOVE your dress!! and that plethora of desserts looks absolutely delicious xx
I LOVE the shoes! They go so perfectly with your outfit.
Love the shoes! I bet they make you nearly as tall as the pilot :). Oh The Melting Pot! That looks like enough food to feed an army. The lobster/seafood looks to die for!
Oh, Melting Pot cheese fondue *drool*…so bad but oh so good! That dress is uber-cute and those shoes are simply divine!
Ahhh we have a Melting Pot 15 minutes away from my house but I’ve never been there! After seeing this post…I think I need to plan a trip. 🙂
Dessert is the best part at the Melting Pot!
PS You looked gorgeous!!
Looks like you guys are having a blast!
You look amazing! And that dark chocolate peanut butter looks even better than the turtle kind!

Hi! I Recently discovered your blog and really enjoy it! Just wanted to stop by and say hello! 🙂
welcome to the little blog 🙂 thanks for saying hi! <3
You look SO pretty in your dress. Love the shoes. I’ve never been to the melting pot and there’s one right down the road from my apartment. I should go!
i adore melting pot…seriously, it’s incredible.every.time. so glad you guys are having so much fun together!
Girl moment – I really like your shoes. I’d probably kill myself in them, alas, and also come in at 6’3 or so…flip flops for now.
I’ve also wanted to try the Melting Pot – can’t do dairy or cheese (thanks, Africa) but melted chocolate and peanut butter might make up for that sad fact.
Enjoy the rest of your trip!
omgsh that food looks to die for…so do your shoes 😉
Looks like so much fun! Those shoes are amazing!!!
I agree salads can be drenched with dressing. Glad it was still good though. Glad you guys are having a great time in FL!!
And I need to go shoe shopping with you. ; )
That looks like some killer humidity if it can make pictures foggy!
That dinner looks amaze-balls! Food is exponentially more tasty if involves dipping. I think there are studies proving it.
YES for cute shoes! Definite WIN 🙂 Loves ’em.
I love dessert fondue…I think food blogs are going to make me fat!
Omg, that dessert fondue platter! Thank goodness that there’s no such thing as being “overdressed” when it comes to chocolate fondue. 😉
Ahhh the Melting Pot……worth every calorie!!
Melting Pot is my lover. And one is right down the street from my new job … 🙂
Congratulations to Stacy! . . . The banana and brownie bits are my favorite too. 🙂
I love those shoes!
I seriously LOVE the melting pot! We were actually just there last night foro ur anniversarey and had almost the exact same dinner, except for the salad and chocolate (i had the house salad, and the milk chocolate with grand marnier). SO yummy!
ooooo, whenever I see a Melting Pot, I kind of lose my mind. Haven’t seen one in a while though. I need to get back to the big city!
Great ideas on creating a workout plan. 🙂 I’ve been a little over-worked lately and am sticking to 3 days a week for a while but will be picking up cardio some time soon.
Amazing shoes and dress girl!! Now why do I hace to live in Belgium *darn* 🙂 we don’t have those shops here 🙂
