Speedo Demon

Hi friends! How are you? Hope you had a lovely day so far <3

It was ROASTY TOASTY today.

Thank goodness I got to assist a pool class in my superhawt Speedo.

tucson 008

I just broke my โ€œno pictures in a swimsuitโ€ rule โ€“but since itโ€™s a goofy swimsuit I donโ€™t think it counts- and the Pilot was home for lunch, cracking up at my awesome pool uniform so he snapped a pic ๐Ÿ˜‰

Eats!

lunch

Teff tortilla with salmon bites, spinach and mustard, plumble and grapes

smoothie

Quinoa crisps with goat gouda melted in between and a green smoothie (almond milk, banana, protein, spinach, raw cacao powder, ice)

Iโ€™m going to change and head over to the madreโ€™s, where the Pilot is hanging out. My madre had a surgical procedure (everything is ok, thank goodness) and now sheโ€™s making chicken parmesean for the family. I definitely get my energy levels from her ๐Ÿ˜‰

See ya in the morning!

xoxo

Gina

Did you ever have to wear a goofy work uniform? I canโ€™t wait to read the responses on this one ๐Ÿ˜€

You still look great! Can’t even tell you are pregnant. Glad your mama is ok.

I sure did! When I was 16 I worked at a pool and the mascot was a frog so for b-day parties they would make me dress up as the giant frog named Splash! It was horendous but the kiddos loved it! The funny part about it was that I am only 5″2 1/2 (yea the half counts!!) lol and the costume was built for someone much taller, so the knees where down to my feet! : ) So it’s safe to say I looked a bit silly.

Another funny thing about the costume is that it’s very hard to see in it so someone would have to walk you around and my supervisors (who were younger too like 21) thought it would be funny to try and lead me into falling in the pool! JERKS!! They never let me fall in but came pretty close, I think the only thing stopping them was that the costume would get ruined and then they would be in trouble. Once we got out the costume though, they always pushed us in!

I’m so glad you posted this, because it takes me back to a really great memory…

When I was 18 or so, I was a lifeguard, and needed a very specific red bathing suit. But they were impossible to find (and I’ve always been afraid to order suits online).

My mom — perhaps because she knew I wouldn’t be at home much longer — took work off and the two of us spent an entire day traveling the state of Massachusetts looking for that elusive red suit. ๐Ÿ™‚ We finally found one, and I actually still have it…it was a great day with my mom.

I saw goat gouda at my neighborhood market today here in Paris and the first thing I thought of was your blog. We were picking up some other cheese, but I plan on trying it out next time!

Um, I’m pretty sure the appropriate Pilot response should have been: “YES! Hot Baywatch wife!” He deserves a day in a Speedo of his own for laughing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

When I was 14 I worked at Mcdonalds…which resulted in them giving me pants that were HUGE on me and an oversized shirt. I was basically swimming in my outfit and looked ridiculous. Ugh I hated that job!

    Love the swim outfit..lol

Once I had a job at “HotDog on a stick”. Lasted exactly 4 hours…
Reason? The outfit was HORRIBLE and my hat was over 2 feet tall and striped. My outfit was red/white striped. It was……..not my fav.

We were in Kansas City last weekend, & one of the bars we went to was a country bar. The waitresses’ uniforms were Victoria’s Secret bras & underwear “covered” by teeny little western vests & chaps! It was my boyfriend’s fave part of the whole weekend! ๐Ÿ˜›

Hi! I know you are such a busy gal, but I have a huge question. I’ve been overweight, actually obese, for most of my life. The past year, I’ve lost 75lb bringing me to 127 for a 5ft frame. (Shorty!) Basically, I still feel like I did before. Achy, tired, and just blah. To lose my weight, I have counted calories religiously. Now, that I’ve lost most of my “weight”, I’m still flabby and feel poor a lot. I want to get STRONG and worry less about the number on the scale. When eating your type of diet, do you worry about calories at all or do you just moderate good, healthy food and stay active? I’m worried about continuing this and gaining the weight again. I’d rather be a strong, lean 130lb than a weak, fragile 115. Thanks for any time and info! And, I don’t have the money in the budget or time with my two little ones to go to the gym a lot. ๐Ÿ™‚

I had to wear a bear costume for one job. It was the kind that had a huge head and I had to see through the mouth. It was really hard to maneuver and I kept hitting little children with the bear head when they would come hug me. I felt terrible!

I am a 31 yr. old woman and at my job in the past five years I have had to be an:

Elf, Easter Bunny, Cowgirl hooker, princess, a dinosaur, and next week Lady Liberty.

Best part I am a full time Manager at this place… I wonder why no one takes me seriously. ๐Ÿ™‚

I work at a themed diner so I get to wear a lovely red and white stripped dress that looks like a sack on everyone, a white headband, white shoes, nylons, white socks and a white apron. It’s hard to keep clean when we’re surrounded by ketchup.

  20. Rachel on June 28, 2011 at 5:09 pm

I worked at a major theme park once where I had to wear a safari costume every day…. complete with pleated pants that practically came up to my chin, a pith helmet, a water bottle that strapped to my belt, and a fanny pack (yes the fanny pack was mandatory). Let’s just say I was really glad when that job ended.
