Latest Stitch Fix
Christmas comes every time there’s a Stitch Fix box on the door. Even when I don’t keep all (or any) of the items, it’s a fun treat to try on some new things.
I was secretly very excited when you guys said you wanted more posts of my Stitch Fixes. I thought you may be sick of them, so I was glad to hear it wasn’t the case ๐
The magic is definitely still thereโฆ even though, this was my first box in quite a while where I didn’t want to keep everything.
The star of the show was this cross body bag:
ย
(I love the multiple zippers and larger pouch so I can fit a diaper, some wipes, snacks and little toys in there)
and the pants. They’re a tiny bit long -which is always the case with me- but I know I’ll wear them a ton:
(with old Tory flats)
(with new-ish Tarjay flats)
The dress and jacket? Meh.ย
With the jacket, I felt like there was too much going on. The multiple zippers, different fabric sleeves, pull string at the waist, hood, a lot happening. It was also too big, so that was a deal-breaker right there.
The dress was ok, but I kind of felt like a flasher wearing it. The neckline was low, the waist was high and the opening in the front affirmed that I would indeed flash my goodies while chasing a toddler around. I did love the print and sleeves, though. Back in the bag it went.
My all-time favorite thing about Stitch Fix is that you get to try things on you wouldn’t normally choose yourself, and do it on your own time. If you’re curious about Stitch Fix and how it works, you can check out my intro post here, a recent fix here, and my trip to the amazing headquarters. Here’s a link if you’d like to try it out yourself! <– referral link
Have a wonderful afternoon <3
xoxo

*I’m still in the market for a jacket.. especially since it’s getting colder here! Any you love?ย
** In full transparency, I paid for the pants and purse using Stitch Fix credit from referrals. This post isn’t sponsored in any way, but you may see affiliate links pop up from time to time, which have no impact on purchase price. I endeavor to fully disclose each time (without being too redundant). Thank you sincerely for your support <3
Dang – I thought that dress would’ve been adorable – bummer! I love the pants and purse though, too, very cute. ๐
right? i loved it on the floor.. but on? not so much
thank you!
That bag is adorable!! Do you know how much it goes for?
i’m 90% sure it was 48
loving the purse! i feel ya on a dress cut like that…. i have that issue, and i don’t even have a toddler to run after!
I am DYING over that bag. Do you by chance have a style name or number – or could you ask your stylist via email? ๐ Would love to see if I could find it online.
the brand is “emperia” and they have a collection at nordstrom here: http://bit.ly/19g2hza
the most similar one i could find was this satchel: (no tassels though!) http://bit.ly/1bTOeJR
Definitely like these Stitch Fix posts. ๐
yay, thank you! they’re fun to write ๐
l-o-v-e the red pants!
thank you! so fun
I want a military jacket so badly but I just cant find the right one!
me toooooo
Nice! I just got my 3rd fix yesterday too. I loved everything in my box ( although the pants were miles too long) I kept a really cute dress that I would have never picked on my own!
they pick amazing dresses!
love both pairs of pants! some red ones just in time for Christmas! ๐
i thought they were festive too!
Love your Stitch Fix posts!
I love the ruby pants too!! You are rockin them!
Love the purse!
I like stitchfix posts too! It would be awesome if you put prices on things just because I am really curious about that and it would determine whether or not I would sign up.. I understand if you feel weird doing that though. ๐
I found a great military-style jacket at Target! All one color – no weird stuff going on ๐
I love everything that you got! how adorable!
I really need to sign up for this one day because I am bad at choosing things for myself! I always play it safe and wear the same type of things.
I just got a stitchfix box today and the same dress was in it!! I think I also got the same pants, but in a light grey color. The pants are too small, but I LOVE them and may keep them and use them as my wightloss goal… as for the dress, I loved it when I saw it, but it failed for the same reasons you mentioned..
LOVE that bag!! So cute. Too bad the dress didn’t work out, though I suppose not everyyyy item can work out every time. I’ve been meaning to sign up for Stitch Fix for awhile now because I’ve heard so many good things….maybe after the holidays!
I think I get my next box in a few days and I cannot wait! I’ve scheduled monthly fixes because it’s so much fun. I love that they are included purses now, I’ll have to send my stylist a little note with requests. ๐
stich fix is the best ๐ that purse is so perfect!
I get my first box next week! I’m so excited, I hope either pair of those pants are in my box too!
I love Stitch Fix in theory. My wallet does not love Stitch Fix in reality.
Too funny – I would have kept the dress & jacket! The dress would look great with a jean jacket thrown over it. And the jacket with some skinny jeans & tall boots. I want them!!!
I love these posts! Thanks for doing them.
love the red pants – perfect for the holidays! =)
thank you! i wore them today and they were super comfy ๐
Love these posts! I saw where someone else mentioned finding a cute jacket at Target. I’ve actually purchased several coats there; they have some really cute ones.
i need to look! i always check out their dresses and tops but forget about the jackets for some reason
If those green jeans are Kut from the Kloth (which it looks like they are) – they will shrink to the perfect length after a wash. They are my favorite jeans brand – reasonable prices, high quality, and cut perfectly for real grown-up women.
