The latest Stitch Fix
Usually when I receive a Stitch Fix (<–affiliate link) box, two things happen:
1) I dance around with the box and while singing a beloved show tune (ok, so I just get reaallllyyyy excited) and
2) I usually know right away what I’m going to keep and what I’m going to send back.
This is the first box that has left me kind of stumped! Here’s what’s in there; I’d love your help with yay-ing or nay-ing a couple of things.
(Yes, Stitch Fix is clothes shopping, which I gave up for lent. I could have canceled my shipment, not knowing where or when I’d receive another one, but I chose to keep it as something to look forward to before the move.)
Keeper: this springy mint dress. Perfect for church on Easter, or with sandals. I love the cut and style of it, too.

Keeper: this light, printed Sanctuary tank
Keeper: a simple, delicate gold necklace
No clue: this printed shift dress. I LOVE the neckline and pattern, but the dress itself is shapeless and just looks kind of big.
This is my “halp me” face.
Do I belt it? Keep it? I dunno.
Another one I’m not sure about: this bright and flowy top.
I like it with my white Joe’s jeans, but I’m not sure if I love the color blocking.
What do you think?

I say go with your gut. If you’re not feeling the last two, I wouldn’t bother keeping them. They’re a bit too big on you. I know they’re supposed to be loose, but they’re past loose on you to looking a bit shapeless (not your problem–it’s just the cut of the clothes). But everything else looks great!
I”m not a fan of the patterned dress, but the blue/green top looks great on you, especially with the white pants! your hair looks super cute up like that, too.

I agree…send back the shift dress…keep the top. You can prob tuck in the front of the top so the back still hangs out to give it more shape.

The two “maybes” aren’t bad but they aren’t as fabulous as the others, and it doesn’t look like you’re 100% confident in them so I say let them go back. My clothes motto is to only buy the things you really love and feel great in, everything else just ends up as clutter anyway.

I think you’d love the colorblock tank with a statement necklace, since it sits so high.
I also like the patterned shift dress (without a belt), but it would be so much nicer mid thigh!

The shift is just ok. The belt gives it some shape though. I really like the color block shirt, especially with the white jeans!
Santa Fe ish print shift dress – too Santa Fe 😉 I don’t love the print.
Color block blouse – yes, yes, yes.
I’d say no on the dress – you don’t love it and it looks a little big.

If you have any reservations about a piece, send it back. It’ll just wind up hiding in your closet forever. I wish it hadn’t taken me 30 years of life to figure that out. All the money I could have saved!
I LOVE that first mint dress! And I would say no to that no shape dress but keep that top. I’d buy it myself!
Not a huge fan of the shirt but I like the belt when it’s belted.
I’d send back just the shift dress, the teal/blue top looks great with the white jeans, perfect for spring/summer. The shift dress just looks kind of shapeless on you, even when belted. Hope it helps!
Hi – agree with the others – return the dress – the color block top looks nice on you but if you are not ‘feeling’ it, return it – you will probably never wear it.
Also, can you tell me where you got the sandal(s) you are wearing in the above photos?
Hello! I joined Stitch Fix on your referral, and I just got my first box last week – and loved it! I got the same printed dress and based on your picture I think you either need a smaller size or the stitching in the empire waist came out of yours. If you can exchange it, I would do that, but if not I’d send it back. Also I love the color block top on you so I think you could keep that one!

I got the same color block top in my last fix! I like the colors but the fit just wasn’t me! I love love love the mint dress. My next fix should be here friday! I can’t wait!!

Okay, so i LOVE the first dress, its so summery and it looks great on you it gives you a nice shape. Im not a fan of the pattery dress without the belt as it does nothing for ur shape. I like it with the belt, but im not sure about that style and color belt. I Think a bolder belt and maybe a little thicker would be nice. I like the spring shirt you were unsure of. It doesnt hug your shape and curves, but thats why i like it, there are plenty of shirts you can buy to do that for you but this one has a nice splash of color and it looks good with tighter pants. So, did u make decisions on what u kept??

i ended up keeping the top and sent the dress back. i really wanted to like the dress -the print was right up my alley- but the fit was so meh, and not worth getting tailored.
Good decision! loved everything but the print dress. I get my first box soon. Got tracking number!
