Stitch Fix Tips for Your Best Fix Ever!
Hi friends! Happy humpday! Hope that youโre enjoying the week. Last night I made some mediterranean chicken for dinner (from the bonus preorder ebook!) and we enjoyed a family walk. Today I’ve got some Stitch Fix tips to help you get your best fix yet!
When we returned from our Vegas adventures, we had some packages waiting for us. Even though this was my 50th fix (!), seeing the Stitch Fix brand on one of the boxes still made my heart flutter. Iโve been getting them for three years now, and it still feels like Christmas each time. This is magnified with little ones in the house. Thereโs no way Iโm toting both of the noodles to the mall to try on clothes. If we head to the mall, weโre on a mission.
Since I usually sort through the goodies and send back what I donโt need fairly quickly, Iโve been mostly posting the โhitsโ and whatever Iโve been keeping.
This time, Iโm posting the whole box, including what Iโm thinking of sending back. (If youโre curious to learn more about how Stitch Fix works, check out my first post ever here. So much has changed since then!) Plus, I’ve got some Stitch Fix tips at the bottom so you can get a great fix too!
Skies Are Blue Isley Crochet Detail Top (similar here, here and here)
(Please to ignore my post-baby bald spot.)
When I removed this from the box, I KNEW it was a keeper. I love everything about this shirt: the bold color, the unique detail, and the fact that I can wear it all summer with jean shorts. Done.
THML Chana Dress (similar styles by the same brand here, here and here <โ obsessed with that last one!)
I wasnโt sure about this one. Lately with my Stitch Fix boxes, if Iโm on the fence about something, Iโll just send it back. These are usually the pieces I donโt end up wearing enough to justify taking up precious closet space. The Pilotโs half of the closet keeps getting smaller and smaller. ๐ I liked the detail on the neckline and hem, but found the dress to be pretty shapeless and kind of blah.
Papermoon Paola Embroidered Neckline Top
+ my best derp face
I think I would have liked this top more in another color. I have so many blue tank tops, and this one didnโt have a โwowโ or โI want to wear that every dayโ factor. Sending back.
Pixley Alison Swing Dress (very similar here and here)
(with Prada sneaks from MyHabit)
Another keeper! I love neutral casual dresses that I can wear with sandals or sneakers. I can tell Iโll wear this one a lot this summer.
Renee C Galia Cami Top (similar here)
I wasnโt sure about this one, but ended up keeping it. I thought it would be cute with my white jeans, jean shorts, or a with a skirt and wedges for going out.
Also seen in this post: Joeโs white jeans, JustFab brown sandals, Joeโs jean shorts (on sale! my fave pairs), and Miller sandals.
Stitch Fix Tips to Get the Most Out of Your Fix
If your Stitch Fix deliveries have been hit or miss, try these tips to get clothes you love!
Utilize Pinterest
Be very specific with what youโre looking for. If you have a Pinterest style board, be sure to link to it, and include links to specific items youโre coveting. The red embroidered top above is on my style board, so I was so excited to see it in my fix!
Give Feedback
If you donโt like something, be sure to indicate what you didnโt love about it. They really do read your feedback and take it to heart when designing your fix.
Give it a Chance
Give your stylist a couple of tries to get to know you! If you find that you arenโt meshing, ask for someone else to style your fix. Iโm convinced that my stylist Alexandra and I are BFFsโฆ even though she doesnโt know it. #creeper
Have you tried Stitch Fix yet (referral link!)? What’s your best Stitch Fix tip that helped you get items you love? Whatโs the best thing youโve added to your closet lately?
xoxo

In full transparency, I paid for the above items using Stitch Fix credit from referrals to the brand over the past couple of years. Thank you so much for your support! Iโm thrilled that many of you have tried it and love it as much as I do <3
I love the things you kept! I feel the same way about that Chana dress — such a cute neckline, but it’s shapeless. Love the Pixley dress you kept. I just got these http://www.zappos.com/sperry-top-sider-seacoast-charcoal-burnished-canvas which I think would look really cute with that dress : )
Happy Wednesday! PS. I finallllly started my blog and have it up and running. You are such an inspiration to me. I’ve been following for years and am just a huge fan. Check out the blog friends page on my site : )
that is so wonderful. happy new blog to you! can’t wait to check it out. those sperry’s are so cute
What heels/sandals are you wearing with the THML Chana Dress?? They look so cute! PS the Pixley Alison Swing Dress is freaking adorable on you
thank you!! they are from justfab- an old pair. i wear them all the time!
I actually really love the Chana dress on you! I would love to do Stitch Fix, but I’m too cheap, haha!
I liked the Chana dress on her too! ๐
thank you! i haven’t sent it back yet and now you girls have me on the fence haha
thank you!! yeah it’s definitely pricey but the convenience is awesome
If I lose weight while I’m on SF, can I update my sizes and such as I go along? I’m SOOOO tempted to give it a try, but I don’t want to end up getting this that are too big IF I continue to lose weight.
u totally can!
I love both dresses and the shirt you were on the fence about too! I’ve actually not done much shopping in a year. On a student budget here! Oh how I can’t wait to shop again!
thank you, friend! hope you’re having a great week
Love the coral top, very pretty!
thank you!
I’ve thought about trying SF, but I live in workouts clothes 80 percent of the time and worried that I won’t benefit from the service. Do they send workout/fitness clothes if you indicate that’s your style?
they don’t offer those, but you can request more casual options!
Love the two that you kept! I tried SF once and it wasn’t for me, but I’m glad you’ve had so much success with it.
thank you! hope you’re having a great week
I love the items you kept! I can see why it is so exciting to receive a box! How fun!
it’s so much fun! especially since trying on clothes is a treat right now haha
The items you kept look great! I am a fan of Stitch Fix, too…and I love reading Stitch Fix reviews ๐ I got my last fix a week ago and kept an adorable coral dress that’ll be perfect for spring and summer!
thank you! i love reading them too! what coral dress did you get? i want to google it haha
Sure! It’s the London Times Evaline dress ๐
50? Wow! Do you think you’ve kept more or sent back more over the 3 years?
that’s tough to say! i’ve sent back entire boxes quite a few times (in the earlier days) but also have had fixes where i kept everything
I’m glad that I’m not the only one with a bald spot! My daughter was born a few weeks before yours and I’m bald in the same place!
haha bald twinnies ๐
