Friday Faves
Hi friends! How are you? I hope youโre enjoying the morning so far. After a long week, Iโm pumped that itโs Friday and looking forward to the weekend. Even when we donโt have a lot of official plans, itโs nice to know weโll be together as a family…and get to alternate sleeping in late. ๐
Weโve got a little road trip planned and Iโm going to start getting things ready for Easter + a couple of upcoming get-togethers at the house. Iโd love to hear what you have going on!
(Liviโs Placard Original Belle dress arrived! She adores it.)
(Leftover curry; Iโll share the recipe this weekend!)
Itโs time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my top finds, wears, reads, and random faves from the week. Itโs always fun to hear about your faves, too, so please shout them out in the comments if you would like.
Fashion + Beauty:
This Express polka dot dress (<โ on sale!) I figured it would be cute with my low-top sneakers. Itโs a nice fabric – it doesnโt feel flimsy at all – and Iโm loving the tie detail on the sleeves + retro-ish print.
I like how itโs casual while still feeling put-together and I can still do all the mom things in it.
This Beautycounter lip gloss. Iโve been wearing the bare shimmer for awhile over lipstick, and have gotten quite a few questions on Instagram about it. (Just put it on top of any lipstick for a pop of gloss!) Itโs the perfect neutral color and is nontoxic…which is nice since we tend to accidentally ingest our lipglosses and lipsticks. (I really like it over this tarte lipstick.)
I think I need this sweatshirt.

This is amazing on so many levels. โThis was cleanโ basically told the story of my life.
Another Greatest Showman medley that will rock your world.
JP Sears has to be from San Diego.
Lin (<โ I often talk about him like weโre BFFs) is just the best ever.
I wish Mister Rogers was still around, but Iโll have to settle for all the feels in this upcoming biopic.
Three fantastic cooking resources were released this week, and it makes my heart happy to see blogger friends crushing it.
Check out my friend Lindsayโs โDinner on the Flyโ ebook. So many realistic weeknight dinner options here! Weโll definitely be using these tips and ideas for frantic weeknights.
The Pretty Dish! My friend Jess sent me a copy of her newest book to check out, and Iโm so excited for her. Itโs full color, the pictures are gorgeous (as always) and the recipes are innovative and exciting. We have our eye on so many things, and Iโll definitely be implementing some new recipes into our meal planning.
Brittanyโs new ebook, Fit With Five! Itโs beautifully-designed and everything looks fresh, healthy, and vibrant. These five-ingredient recipes are perfect for quick and healthy eats. Iโm going to make some today with the ingredients we have on hand, and am stoked about getting some new ideas.

Try this Tabata-style barre workout for an awesome burn.

Why even a short burst of exercise is worth it.
Food:
The girls and I are enjoying the Vegan Robโs Cauliflower Puffs and Brussel Sprout Puffs. <โ ordered from Thrive Market. I wish Bellaโs sassy lil face wasnโt so blurry in the pic above.
The amount of vegetables in said puffs is probably negligible, but theyโre fluffy, savory (like Pirateโs Booty) and snackable.
Roasted broccoli with Tahini dressing.
These vegan desserts look bomb dot com.
Happy Friday, friends! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and Iโll see ya soon.

Hey cuz! Omg I was going to ask you about your lip gloss! Was it the one you were wearing during the Nailed It story? Gorg!! Love JP Sears! Heโs coming to San Diego in a couple weeks. Maybe Chris and I will have our first date night after Jayden ๐ Have a great weekend!
That dress was MADE for you! You look so darn cute. I’m a huge fan of Express, so I’m going to go check out their dresses today!
That dress is so cute!
Omg those puffs! #need
Loooove that look on you!
I love those vegan rob puffs! Like you said, they aren’t giving you extra veggies, but I love savory! Most vegan savory (or spicy) snacks always add sugar. I just don’t like that.
