One-song workout: “Rust to Gold” (Legs + Booty)

This a one-song workout to Council’s Rust to Gold, which is one of the songs I love right now. Get a great workout at home in 4 minutes. All you need is your own body weight, an optional resistance band loop, and a mat. For even more fun, combine this workout with the legs one-song workout, this HIIT and legs workout, this abs one-song workout and this back and biceps one-song workout.

For today’s post, I’m sharing another one-song workout! These are quick and fun workout blitzes and a great way to challenge yourself and get in a movement break throughout the day. I know a majority of us are working out at home right now, so feel free to combine this one-song workout with any of the other ones linked above, or check out the videos on my channel. I’m trying to post more videos (even though I’m desperately missing my fave video guy, Grant) so please subscribe here for updates when I post something new.

In the video, I’m using a resistance band loop to make things extra spicy. If you don’t have a loop, no worries! You’ll still get a great workout without one.

My editing software was being tricky so I couldn’t add the names of the exercises onto the screen, but here’s a breakdown of what exercises to expect:

Walking squats, side to side

Squat and leg lift (alternate)

Squat and leg lift x 3

Squat overhead reach (option to add a squat jump)

Clamshell (add leg extension)

Combo clamshell and leg extension

Hip raises (add hip openers)

Clamshell combo on the other side

On back- move the band 2 inches above your ankles. Flex your feet and press out.

    OMG bands have been a life saver during quarantine for workouts. I LOVE clamshells and walking squats. I notice that strengthening abductors is SO freaking important, esp to prevent pain while I run. Love this simple yet effective workout. We love sharing these at-home workouts with our readers too.
