When I first started my weight loss journey, I quickly realized that it was not worth it to spend money on clothes during that time. I’d go buy an outfit for work, and it would be too big before I could wear it. It may seem like a “problem that’s not really a problem,” but clothes can be costly, and it’s a waste if you don’t get to wear them. I halted the clothing purchases since I knew my size would be temporary until I reached a healthier weight. Since then, I’ve always told my training clients to minimize clothing expenses while we’re working together, and instead to use a clothes shopping spree as an awesome reward when they hit their goal.
Many of you will hit new fitness goals with the Summer Shape Up. Even if the scale doesn’t budge -muscle is more dense than fat, so you could technically weigh the same and have a lower body fat percentage- your clothes could fit you differently. Maybe you just hit a fitness goal and want to celebrate, or could use a bit of a closet overhaul.
I’d like to share my Stitch Fix credit with a few lucky winners as the first Shape Up giveaway.
I have a credit with Stitch Fix from referring people to the brand over the past 6 months or so. At first, I thought it would be cool to get a discount on what I purchase from them since I love my monthly Stitch Fix box, and the credit continued to grow. I was trying to think of a good way to use it and quickly thought of the perfect solution: give back to YOU, since you’re the reason why I have a credit with them in the first place.
I emailed Stitch Fix to see if it would be possible to do a giveaway and they more than happy to help me set it up.
Today’s giveaway is $3500 of Stitch Fix credit: $500 each to seven lucky winners. That’s a lot of new clothes!
You don’t have to have a Stitch Fix account to enter and don’t necessarily have to be participating in Summer Shape Up.

I would love to win because I am trying to get back into shape after having my first baby two months ago. My wardrobe needs an update! Thanks for the giveaway!
This is so generous of you, Gina!! I woke up late this morning so I only had time to do my 20 minutes of HIIT training but have already printed out Workout #1 and am committed to completing it on my lunch break today – I CANT WAIT!! Thanks so much for all that you do! What a fabulous giveaway!!
I would LOVE to win some new clothes because none of my clothes fit (and definitely won’t after Summer Shape Up) and I look so awful at work recently! I seriously feel like Regina George because yoga pants are the only pants I have that fit me right now – for the right reasons though 😉 – and I definitely can’t wear those to the office.
Can’t wait to do workout 1 after work!!! Thanks for all your hard work on making this happen!
What an awesome giveaway! I’m always looking for new clothing pieces to improve my style!!
I would love to win because I have been in a rut since I had my daughter and got laid off and I haven’t felt like I should spend money on myself for clothes.
subscribed to ya’lls new youtube channel & LOVING it!
Just started a new job that I’m SO excited for…my first “big girl” job but I’m on a super-tight budget. This job is my true passion, but the pay isn’t what I expected and purchasing new work clothes has proved very challenging. I’d love a Stitchfix boost!

I was just thinking about how much I wanted a “fix” the other day, but as I just started a job with a small non-profit, my budget has shrunk significantly! This would be an amazing boost to my summer wardrobe!
As for the first workout, WHEW. Amazingly painful, but totally worth it 🙂
I want to win because I need to spice up my wardrobe!
Thanks, Gina!
I would love to wi! I’m a recent college graduate and I definitely need to update my wardrobe from sweats, jeans, and tshirts to a more business causal style and this seems like the perfect opportunity! Also the first workout had my muscles burning in a way they haven’t in a long time. I loved it!
I need a wardrobe revamp in the worst way! I’ve been budgeting for awhile now and I haven’t shopped in forever. I’d love to try Stitch Fix!
I’d love to win because I graduated college last year and have been working my butt off to pay off my student loans. Clothes shopping has fallen to the side and I would love an opportunity to score some new threads! Thanks Gina, I’m super excited for summer shape up too! 🙂
I desperately need a couple new pieces to spruce up my summer wardrobe, but the budget is pretty tight these days. I’d love to win a Stitch Fix!
I would LOVE to win because I just ended a very long journey of nursing school, and supported my son and I off student loans for a few years now (you can probably understand clothes were not a high priority for me). I have finished school, about to start a new job, and would love to celebrate by getting a few great pieces of clothing!

I am transitioning to working at home and would love to add some dressy/casual items to my closet!
We moved a couple months ago so all our budget has gone towards the new place. I’d love some new duds for summer!
I am doing SSU to keep my energy levels up (I have a 9 month old and am expecting my 2nd child 11/1) and want to stay healthy – SSU is a great way to do that!!! Also I have rec’d 2 stitch fixes (based on your great reviews) and have loved them — thank you for hosting such a great giveaway!

I loved workout 1!! I would love to win because it is always nice to treat yourself to some new clothes especially after a hard workout schedule 🙂
subscribed to your YouTube channel…it’s fantastic!
I absolutely love StitchFix! I think the reason I love it so much is because it introduces me to clothes that I normally wouldn’t grab at a store. Have found some real winners in my fixes so far!
I would love to win because my body has really changed since I started training for long races, and I need some new clothes to adjust!
I NEED NEW CLOThES!! (Isn’t that reason enough??) In all seriousness I’m moving to Philly in July for grad school and would love to be able to show off my new duds!
I did workout 1 this morning and loved it!! Ive been slacking off on HIIT lately, so it felt great despite my bout of what seems to be the black lung (or just really annoying allergies).
I also just got a promotion (yay, but now I need business clothes bad)! Not to mention that since I started following your blog and using your workout suggestions (which have been awesome) I have already turned some of that fat into muscle and could use some new clothes to show that off!
AND I just love stitchfix, but usually only have enough money to buy one of the items they send 🙁
I would love to win because lately I don’t have much time or money to go shopping and I would love to have the opportunity to use stichfix. Especially after having my daughter!
I would love to try Stitch Fix. I need a bit of help with my wardrobe. My clothes seem a bit too cookie cutter lately. The clothes you blogged about from Stitch Fix are super cute and unique.

I’d LOVE to win this Stitch Fix giveaway. You’ve gotten so many great pieces from them and it seems like such a great service. I just graduated from law school so I don’t have extra money to spend on clothes right now, but I could definitely use some new work-appropriate clothes. Can’t wait to try the Week 1 workout later today!! Thanks for this giveaway, Gina, and for all the work you’re putting into Summer Shape Up!
I’ve done stichfix twice after seeing if on your blog. It is a lot of fun and I’ve bought some awesome pieces from them. Also, in the last 6 or so months I’ve toned up and a lot of my clothes don’t fit very well anymore- so this would be great to get some new items!!!
I would love to win this as money is tight right now with my family. I just got married, went on a honeymoon, and am renovating an entire house with my husband. So needless to say time and money aren’t really going to clothes these days. I’m lucky to get my daily workouts in, and I’m going to be doing the WO#1 today!!! 🙂
i’ve loved all your outfits from stitchfix and my clothes are in desperate need of a makeover!
After starting a new fitness routine over the last year my body has changed drastically and my closet could use a revamp with things that fit! 🙂
all of your stitchfix posts have made me REALLY want to give it a try – the stuff looks awesome 🙂
I did work-out #1 of SSU 2013 bright and early this morning and LOVED it! It definitely got my heart rate up immediately and it never went down. My quads are already burning. I would love to win this as a reward to myself at the end of this 4-week challenge.
That’s an amazing first giveaway! I have been loving my stitch fix boxes, but would LOVE to be able to do them more often! Headed to the gym after I send this comment to do workout 1… I can’t wait! Thanks for all you do to keep us motivated to be the best healthy versions of ourselves:))
Ahhh StitchFix! Would love to win, I could use the styling help 🙂
I could really use new clothes! Just donated a ton before I moved!
Oh, I’d love to win this! I’ve heard about Stitch Fix, but haven’t tried it yet.
Can’t wait to do workout 1 on my lunch today!
I would love to win the stitch fix prize! I’m 32 weeks pregnant and am looking forward to getting some new clothes once I get back into fighting shape!!
I am currently in grad school and buying new clothes does not fit into my budget! I love all the pieces you post from stitchfix and I would love to try it out!
I would like to win bc I am a single Mom of three teenagers and I can not remember the last time I bought any new clothes for myself. With the summer shape up workout #1 totally kicking my tush, I think i may even need a size smaller!
I would LOVE to win. I love my fixes but they can be might pricey!!! I’m down an obscene amount of weight (like 50 pounds) since my son was born and literally own about 10 things that fit. I would love some stitch fix help!
I’m hoping to push past my plateau with the SSU! If I can then I might need new clothes which would also help me look great for grad school. 🙂
I have only heard good things about Stitch Fix but have yet to take the plunge and create an account, winning this giveaway would be a great excuse!!! A girl can always use a few new “friends” in her closet!
I’d love to win as I’ve been thinking of a closet overhaul as well as it’s been years since most of my closet has changed. I’m not too big of a fan of shopping so I’m looking forward to the whole stich fix experience!
New clothes would be super fun 🙂 and I loved workout 1!
I’d love to win because I haven’t re-vamped my summer wardrobe in YEARS! It’s getting a bit…stale 🙂
I would love to win! I started a new job a few months ago and am trying to build my work appropriate wardrobe! 🙂
I have two pairs of pants that both have broken zippers, a sweater with a hole in the collar, and worn down shoes…it’s apparent I need new clothes!
