Summer Shape Up Week 3 giveaway- White Plum

Week 3, we’re coming after you!

I feel like I say this every time we’re in the middle of a Shape Up, but it needs to be repeated: this is the week that determines whether you will sink or swim. You’ll either decide to fizzle out, or put the same gusto you started the challenge with and power through to the finish line. (Obviously, do the latter, mm k?)     Today, I did 8 miles in addition to some weights and abs. It was a little rough, but I got it done.

    I normally only take one rest day which I had planned to be Friday but just wasn’t feeling a workout today so I skipped it. Feeling good that I listened to my body and will be ready to rock workout 3 tomorrow!

    Made it through 4 rounds of workout 3 in the 25 minutes! Was hoping I could finish 5 but it was definitely tougher than I was expecting and by round 3 I slowed down 🙂

    Ran 30 minutes on the treadmill at the gym today for my steady state. Enjoyed the rest of the day by the pool, thrift shopping, and grilling out with friends. Feeling great and ready to sleep so I can tackle tomorrow’s workout.

    Did a normal run today but stopped at the Lyon St Steps in SF which are super steep. Did 4 rounds + some abs, and it felt good to challenge my “normal” run a little bit!

    Last night was a 4 mile walk/run with a great friend. My plan was to also do WO #3 but my head really was NOT in the game. I’m excited to tackle it tonight and am really pumped to knock it out.
