This week…

1. I had another reminder that things in my brain sometimes do not translate well to real life.

pizza

That would be a teff flour tortilla “pizza” with marinara, artichokes, gout gouda, oregano and… sardines. I covered the entire thing in hot sauce.

And no, it wasn’t good at all. I was green in the gills (literally. baha) all night.

2. Quite a few baller workouts went down, played on the laptop in the living room. You really can work out anywhere 🙂 {Our DVD player is in the POD… along with my life}

3. I really need a haircut. Things are getting out of control over here.

4. The Pilot flew quite a few times this week. I hate it because I worry about him, but kinda love when he comes home smelling like jet fuel.

5. Kindness always wins. <3

6. I’m a little nervous to teach a salsa class tomorrow…. if you have any fun top 40 music ideas that I could use for salsa –it’s fun to switch it up from Latin all the time- please let me know! (So far I have “I want you back” by Michael Jackson and “Tonight Tonight” Hot Chelle Rae)

7. Mara gets here TONIGHT! We’re going to have a blasty this weekend 🙂

I’m off to get a haircut and then to work for a couple of hours- see ya with a Family post (or a Fashion Friday) around lunch 🙂

xoxo

    I had the same thing today! I keep seeing “Brownies in a Mug” recipes or “Cookies in a Mug” and it sounded fantastic. So I decided to make it today. EW! Not good. I don’t know what I did wrong. Mine did not look like everyone else’s pictures that they posted. Any ideas or suggestions?!

    There are sooo many good non-latin songs you can use. One of my personal faves is “Say it Right” by Nelly Furtado. Britney, of course, has some good ones: “Breathe on Me” for a little slower tempo, “Break the Ice” for a little faster tempo. Other ones I like dancing to are “Upside Down” by Paloma Faith, and “Alejandro” by Lady Gaga.

    I hate it when meals don’t turn out, btw. It puts me in such a terrible mood.

    I love when my man comes home smelling like jet fuel too .. which is pretty much everyday haha. I also love the purr noise his plane makes while idling. I could fall asleep to it. And when I was working at the base full time (as a civvie), sometimes felt like I was going to, haha.
