Week of giveaways: Final Giveaway- ENDED
This week has been pretty much amazeballs. Thank you again to everyone for participating, sending blog love, and for your kind and wonderful comments. I’m truly lucky to *know* all of you, and am also grateful to the companies who generously sponsored the week of giveaways.
Congratulations to the Home Goods giveaway winner!
Mary:
“I LOVE the poppy flower wall decals in my kitchen. They do a great job brightening up the space.”
Please send me your info (fitnessista at gmail dot com, subject: HOME GOODS WINNER!) and I’ll get your prize on the way 🙂
Today’s giveaway, the final one, is sponsored by one of my all-time favorite workout companies, along with Livi and Bella.
I fell in love with Physique 57 two years ago, and if we had a studio in Tucson, it would be one of my regular workout spots. Nothing has made my thighs thighs and biscuits burn quite like P57. I’m so glad they have DVDs you can do at home if you don’t have a studio near you, and I’ve done the DVDs quite a few times in addition to the usual workout suspects. I see and feel a huge difference when I have P57 in my life, and anytime I’m in NY or LA I’m excited to take a live class.
The winner of this giveaway will receive a volume 2 Physique 57 DVD, courtesy of Physique 57,
and will also win a Polar FT40 heart rate monitor, which I’ll order for you,
plus a batch of custom macaroons (chocolate, mocha, blonde, super roon with cacao nibs and goji berries, or Meyer-lemon lavender)
and whatever Whole Foods/TJs goodies find their way into the box 😉
I absolutely love my Polar heart rate monitor and wear it for all of my high-intensity workouts. Since I know how much I’m burning, I can get an idea of how much more I need to eat that day, and I always push myself a little harder when I can see how hard I’m working. It’s a fantastic workout tool and was even more helpful while I was pregnant, so I knew not to let my heart rate get too crazy high.
-With the Summer Shape Up beginning this week, this giveaway will end on FRIDAY, 6/15.
This giveaway has ended! Congratulations to the winner, Natalie.
This is my favorite giveaway so far the DVDs and the polar monitor are some things I have wanted for a very long time but I could never afford them on my own! There are sooo many reasons I have been reading this blog for the past four years but mainly because you offer so much variety! I love the Focus On post, they may be my favorite and I go back to them frequently whenever I’m deciding to try a new fitness class or DVD. I’m only 21 but I love the family post because I take of a baby full time, and you have been very helpful! I would like to see more videos! Things like how to’s (more hair ideas please!) , product reviews, fitness challenges/ quick workout videos. Hope this helps
Thank you so much to all of you for your amazing feedback, comments and sweet wishes. I’m so fortunate to have you in my life, and stay tuned for many more giveaways!
Thank you all so much for reading my little blog and for hanging out with me over here <3
Here’s to another amazing year!
xoxo
Your blog is so fun to read exactly how it is! I think you do such a great job of balancing food, fitness, family, and fun, and I love how your posts incorporate all of these elements. If I had to choose something that I wanted to see more of, it would be yummy recipes 🙂 Keep up the good work…your blog is my favorite!!
The thing I love most about the blog is your non-judgmental personality. You do things your way (eats, parenting, workouts) but never push your opinions on others. I’m very much a “what works for me works for me but may not work for you” kinda person so I always appreciate that. I actually stopped reading a lot of food/fitness blogs due to a) lack of variety and b) personality type things, but yours has always stayed in my reader.
Plus: you post awesome, fun and innovative workouts! I’d like to see more raw food stuff BUT I also understand how time consuming that is and/or if you’re just not into it anymore. When you were in OK those were some of my favorite posts. yum!
As a military wife I originally started following you because I can identify with a lot of your life! Hubby currently deployed. 🙁 I love that you write honestly and give feedback on what works and doesn’t for your life–whether it is food, products, or baby advice–this keeps me coming back for more! Great job!
This is my favorite giveaway yet! But seriously, I love everything that goes on here, which is what keeps me coming back. I like how you keep it real- I feel as though you are one of my friends that I go to for advice, inspiration, and humor. Although I would love to see more of your recipes! Especially those of the dessert category 🙂
This is such a great blog, it’s one of my favorites. I think it’s perfectly balanced between food, fitness, and life. Don’t change a thing! Although, if you wanted to keep it up with the occasional hair video-tutorials, I’d be in favor of that. I’m always looking for fun new things to do with my hair. 🙂
I love the blog and the transition its taken since Liv has been present- you rock!
Love this site! It’s definitely a daily staple for me 🙂
I LOVE the workouts – particularly the circuit-type workouts. They get me so motivated to try new things, and continue trying to get in better shape.
I’ve really enjoyed some of the focus on posts, but I”d like to see some more assistance with perfecting form on some exercises like deadlifts, or dumbbell squats, or things like that. (maybe they’re already there and I missed them?)
I would love to see more recipes. All your dishes look amazing all the time!
I shared the summer shape up link on my Facebook page! So ready to shape up for summer 🙂
I love all the family stuff! I would like to see even more recipes too in the future 🙂
I started reading your blog a few months ago and love it! I’ve just lost twenty lbs and have found your blog very inspirational and super helpful. I really like seeing your meals for the day, it gives me lots of good ideas!
I read a lot of blogs — but this is my fav! Love everything about the blog…..I especially love hearing about Livi and I love your recipes!
My favorite stuff are the workouts! I find myself aimlessly walking around the gym without them!
I love everything about your blog and would not change a thing. You always keep it interesting. Your life has changed so much and it is becoming more and more beautiful. Congratulations…I will forever be a dedicated reader as long as you stay blogging!
I really love the simple workouts you show at the end of your posts, especially with the demos. I’d love to hear more about your transition to healthy living…what your lifestyle was like before, during, and after. I always find that so motivating and relatable.
I love your recipes and your workouts!
I would love to see more of your shape-up workouts. I love the ideas you give in these.
Ok imma enter this one. I lost 40 lb 2.5 years ago, and as a result of not stoking the fires of motivation and a ton of overtime (4 months last year alone in the last 7 months of the year) being heaped on me. A month ago I stopped eating all grains, flours, and sugars with the exception of dark chocolate and I’ve already lost 8 lbs (doing a Paleo/Primal mix) and feel AMAZING (I don’t have Celiac Disease but I am clearly gluten intolerant, no more food comas!). I am about to embark on a Crossfit journey that I am wildly excited/nervous/terrified about, along with beginning to train for my first sprint triathlon, and eventually half and full marathons, olympic Tri’s and finally, an Ironman in 3 years. I could really use a new heart rate monitor (mine got dropped in the toilet on accident a while back, sad face) to help gauge what I’m burning.
I’ve loved this blog for more than two years, it’s the only one I read regularly. What I’d like to see more of are new food recipes, with or without grains/gluten/whatevs. You always have a really interesting take on foods and I want my horizons broadened more. I’d love more guest posts on food/fashion (though I definitely dig what Meg has been doing)/ travel and life lessons in general too. Also, more Livi pictures, I mean could she Be any cuter? Thanks for the blog, it’s always makes me smile.
I’d LOVE this giveaway!
What do I love about this blog? I love everything it has to offer. I recently found it and have only been following for a short time, but I enjoy reading each and every entry! I can’t think of anything I’d want to change.
Gina, I love your blog and what a great giveaway! I enjoy reading about your girls…Livi and Bella. I also have enjoyed the workouts with the pictures you have been recently doing like all the plank variations. And I enjoyed your fashion posts when you were doing those. Thanks for all you do!
And, I’m Dying to try those macaroons. I may have to start harassing editors to get you a book deal just for that recipe!
more crockpot recipes! i use my crockpot on a weekly basis in the winter for soups and chili, but im kind of at a loss at what to make in the summer.
I pinned exercises!
I love your baby posts! I have a 3 month old and you have been such an encouragement to me over the past few months. It was so good to read your post delivery body posts and also about all of the things you have loved using for Livi. I would love to see more recipes! I love to cook and its always fun to see what you prepare throughout the week. Thank you!
I love the balance of you blog–fitness, food, family. All things that are important to me in life I find on your blog. I also love your inspirational quotes that you add to some posts–would love to see more of them! I also love your recipes that incorporate Sun Warrior. I love smoothies and oats, but am always looking for more ways to use such a wonderful product–any more recipes up your sleeve?? I am dying to try oyour macaroons! I have been waiting, knowing you would be giving them away at some point!!
I love the fitness routines you post at the end for us to do! I would love to see more videos of classes you teach or any nutrition/fitness info!!
I love the blog! I especially liked your snack oriented recipes like the amaze balls.
I think your blog is great! I love the balance of fitness-related info and your family. I’d like to see more easy, veg-friendly meals 🙂 Thanks!
I love this blog so much. I don’t remember how I found it, but I’m glad I did. As a vegetarian, I would love to see more veg*n recipes. Also, as someone who has been on a fitness roller coaster and is now starting new, more tips and modifications for fitness beginners.
I’ve tried several of your recipes so I would love to see new ones. This might be my favorite giveaway EVER!

I love the exercises you post. I write them down and bring them to the gym! People stop me all the time and comment on my workout, and I tell them I get it from your blog. They are so helpful : ) I can’t wait for the summer shape up!

The family addition to the blog helped it reach out to a broader audience. I will look forward to some meal plan ideas as well 🙂

I would love to hear more insights on the evolution of your health, fitness and overall wellness!
I would love too see more snack size smoothies … The smoothies you make look SOO good but are too calorie dense as a snack for me!
OMMMG ROONS! I’ve been dying to try them over the last two years that I’ve been reading. I wouldn’t change a thing on your blog! Thank you for giving us so much inspiration as you show us how you balance a marriage with a husband who frequently travels, a baby, working out AND healthy eating. You’re truly an inspiration.

I think your blog has evolved and improved with time and hope it continues to! As long as you’re always open to suggestions (which you obviously are), you’re golden. Even so, you can never have too many giveaways 😉
Oh Goodness, Physique 57. And macaroons!
I love your family posts. You and the Pilot and Olivia are such a beautiful inspiration! And I’d love to see more fashion, from you or Meg. So helpful (especially all your savings deals!).
Love your blog. 🙂 I love how honest it is and how down to earth you are. Thanks for sharing the things you’re most passionate about with all of us!
Great giveaway! I would love to see more outfits of the day or any recommendations on work out gear!
I LOVE your family page and your life updates. Seeing the love your little family has warms my heart and really brightens my day.
I’m freshly out of college and in my first “big girl” job, so I’d love to see some healthy meal ideas for one that are doable on a 21-year-old-with-a-job’s budget!
