Week of giveaways: Final Giveaway- ENDED
This week has been pretty much amazeballs. Thank you again to everyone for participating, sending blog love, and for your kind and wonderful comments. I’m truly lucky to *know* all of you, and am also grateful to the companies who generously sponsored the week of giveaways.
Congratulations to the Home Goods giveaway winner!
Mary:
“I LOVE the poppy flower wall decals in my kitchen. They do a great job brightening up the space.”
Please send me your info (fitnessista at gmail dot com, subject: HOME GOODS WINNER!) and I’ll get your prize on the way ๐
Today’s giveaway, the final one, is sponsored by one of my all-time favorite workout companies, along with Livi and Bella.
I fell in love with Physique 57 two years ago, and if we had a studio in Tucson, it would be one of my regular workout spots. Nothing has made my thighs thighs and biscuits burn quite like P57. I’m so glad they have DVDs you can do at home if you don’t have a studio near you, and I’ve done the DVDs quite a few times in addition to the usual workout suspects. I see and feel a huge difference when I have P57 in my life, and anytime I’m in NY or LA I’m excited to take a live class.
The winner of this giveaway will receive a volume 2 Physique 57 DVD, courtesy of Physique 57,
and will also win a Polar FT40 heart rate monitor, which I’ll order for you,
plus a batch of custom macaroons (chocolate, mocha, blonde, super roon with cacao nibs and goji berries, or Meyer-lemon lavender)
and whatever Whole Foods/TJs goodies find their way into the box ๐
I absolutely love my Polar heart rate monitor and wear it for all of my high-intensity workouts. Since I know how much I’m burning, I can get an idea of how much more I need to eat that day, and I always push myself a little harder when I can see how hard I’m working. It’s a fantastic workout tool and was even more helpful while I was pregnant, so I knew not to let my heart rate get too crazy high.
-With the Summer Shape Up beginning this week, this giveaway will end on FRIDAY, 6/15.
This giveaway has ended! Congratulations to the winner, Natalie.
This is my favorite giveaway so far the DVDs and the polar monitor are some things I have wanted for a very long time but I could never afford them on my own! There are sooo many reasons I have been reading this blog for the past four years but mainly because you offer so much variety! I love the Focus On post, they may be my favorite and I go back to them frequently whenever Iโm deciding to try a new fitness class or DVD. Iโm only 21 but I love the family post because I take of a baby full time, and you have been very helpful! I would like to see more videos! Things like how toโs (more hair ideas please!) , product reviews, fitness challenges/ quick workout videos. Hope this helpsย
Thank you so much to all of you for your amazing feedback, comments and sweet wishes. I’m so fortunate to have you in my life, and stay tuned for many more giveaways!
Thank you all so much for reading my little blog and for hanging out with me over here <3
Here’s to another amazing year!
xoxo
I LOVE the family and fasion pages and would ove to see more posts there! I think your workouts are also amazing!
There’s not enough room on here for me to list all that I love about your blog so I’ll just list what I don’t love……
See? That was much easier. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! Great mix of fun, family, food, and fitness ๐
Gina, I found your blog two years ago. It was the first blog I had ever read and I instantly fell in love. I’m honest when I say that the first week I went without your blog I felt like I was missing out on so much and I don’t even know you “for real”, but I sure hope I get to meet you at HLS this year!? ๐
Anyways, there is something about your blog that I adore so much. It’s everything about it, really. I love your honesty. I love how you are so confident with how you eat and so knowledgeable about what you eat and how you train. You truly are such a role model, Gina.
Your Focus On posts are probably some of my favourites or your little tidbits at the end of your posts such as “something to think about” or those quick ab burners! I have always wanted to do something like that on my blog, but I don’t like being a copy cat ๐
I am also always so impressed with your summer shape ups! I participated two summers ago and I felt so good about myself ๐ I loved it! xoxo
I say keep doing what you’re doing Gina because after two years I still never want to miss a post ๐
I love your workout posts, I have them bookmarked and do them when I need a little bit of inspiration. Something I’ve thought you should do for a long time: a workout for people who live in apartments with thin floors. My downstairs neighbors get annoyed when I do things like jumping jacks and burpees so I’m always looking for workouts that won’t disturb them.
Thanks for being such a great blogger!
I actually just found your site a few days ago. I had a baby in march and love working out so following your progress post baby has been really helpful for me. I also really really love your recipes. I think I made 4 things this weekend from your recipes page and I’m super excited to start the summer shape up. The giveaway is so generous, I’m in desperate need of a heart rate monitor!
I really love your blog. I’ve been reading for YEARS ๐ I hardly ever comment because I’m lazy! In terms of feedback, I would say merge the baby stuff with all your regular stuff. Your life is changing, your priorities are different, that’s awesome! I know you really want a book deal and here’s my unsolicited, uninformed advice: people keep reading your blog because they connect with you. You are a TROOPER. The more real you are, the more your readers will connect with you. I think that’s what a publisher wants to ‘know’ before they hand out a book deal. Do her readers lover her enough to spend 15.99 on the advance hard copy of her recipes/self-help/inspiration book?
I just really want your ‘dreams’ to come true. Which on a side note it so weird because a few years ago I used be really jealous and competitive. Like if someone else does well that means they’re taking away my chance to do well. Growing up is so crazy ๐ haha such a nerd!

I pinned a workout ๐ 10 ways to lunge, love it ๐
I’ve just recently started reading your blog, but I really like it ๐ I like how it’s able to capture all aspects of your life and who you are. Great job!
love the blog – i’ve been following for almost 2 years now. i’d love to see more “Focus on’s”, reviews of different types of workouts, and definitely more of the “10 ways to ..”
I love the positive spirit you always have in your posts, it lifts my mood everyday! I also really like the Focus On posts, they’ve helped explain some of the fitness trends to me which has been very helpful. One thing I’d like to see is simple and healthy on the go recipes! I grew up with a mother who hated to cook so I’m always looking for easy (simple, low ingredient) recipes to make and/or on the go ones to bring to work.
Love the blog, thank you so much for all you do!
I tweeted about one of my favourite recipes of yours!! ๐ My Mom even loves this and she NEVER has breakfast!

What I love about your blog: It’s the perfect balance of everything: food, fitness, baby, dog, husband, family, work, good times, bad times…It’s honest, friendly, and a joy to read everyday.
I like that you are so relate-able. Your readers are all types of people from all races, kinds, creeds, body shapes, old, young, at different places in life…. One of the most important things that I admire about your blog is that you never judge and you never say your way is always the best way. You always present multiple options and share your opinions in a fair way.
It’s also a bonus that Bella looks so much like my late dog, Chubby. I miss her so much everyday….I smile whenever I see Bella’s face on my computer screen. <3
Two things I'd love to see more of:
Your grocery lists and/or photos of your grocery trips and more recipes – especially desserts!
I shop at Trader Joe's too, and I love when you show their new products. I always get them on my next grocery trip.
One of the MANY things I love about your blog is the variety. You focus on many amazing things which is a great balance (life, work, family, fitness). I really enjoy the workouts you post so more of them would be great ๐

Hi Fitnessista!
I love waking up and getting inspiration from your healthy day before starting mine in the general section. I also love the family section where I follow all your fab tips on bringing up Livi and apply some to bringing up my Stella (a month younger than Olivia).
