My summer staple is my birkenstocks which I wear with everything. Even if they don’t really match. They are so much more comfortable that flipflops and I refuse to take them off!

I live in Hawaii where every day is summer!:) my staple is definitely “slippers” which is the Hawaiian term for flip-flops. It may sound weird to have them be a staple, but you often have to transition from shoes to barefoot in HI- at the beach, entering someone’s home- shoes are a huge no-no indoors here!, the tide is up so the sidewalk is all water, or you just want to be barefoot, which is acceptable everywhere here! So shoes that you have to unbuckle can be very inconvenient. I wear slippers everywhere but work- and even there I technically could get away with!

My summer staple is definitely all my wedges. I love the feel of a sandal with the height of a high heel, it just makes me feel extra spicy 😉
Love this blog. My summer staple always ends up being the cotton skirt I bought at Target years ago. Try as I might to replace it with something classier, I just can’t quit that gray skirt.

My summer staple is/are my brown sparkly Reef flip flops. I’ve worn them for 2 summers now. They are so squishy and comfy. Can’t give them up!

I have a pair of black ALDO sandals that I wear with pretty much everything, and just hope that people don’t notice haha
It’s also important to have sundresses to throw on, bronzer, and tanning lotion for my otherwise pasty skin 😉
