Favorite smoothie combos… This is the hardest! If I want chocolate milkshake like I usually go with chocolate protein powder, banana, peanut butter, spinach, and almond milk. But my very favorite for summer right now is vanilla protein powder, frozen pineapple, banana, spinach, and a splash of orange juice. Yuuum!

  12. Lindsey on June 8, 2012 at 2:47 pm

I just made a new delicious one of random ingredients: unsweetened vanilla almond milk, frozen peaches, a tiny splash of oj, dollop of peanut butter, shredded organic coconut, topped with a bit of cinnamon….all it needed was some protein powder. Still have to get me some Sun Warrior!

My current favorite is frozen mixed berries, a frozen banana (or avocado), with a little bit of frozen mango pieces. I also add a scoop of Trader Joe’s super green mix and usually some protein powder. I’ve even gotten my dad into smoothies and always have to make extra so that he can have some too 🙂

  42. Molly M. on June 8, 2012 at 2:59 pm

I’ve just gotten into making smoothies and am loving them. So far my favorite combo is half a frozen banana, handful of frozen blueberries, chocolate protein powder, a big chunk of frozen spinach and almond milk. The smoothie a day in May challenge has given me quite a few ideas for new smoothie combos to try!
