That’s a Kicker
Sup bloggies?
Hope your Sunday has been lovely <3
This morning, I crawled out of bed and walked to the yoga studio for a 90-minute Power Yoga class.
It was…
For realz.
It was everything I ever needed.
The instructors at MBody Yoga have given very appropriate yoga pep talks in the past two days.
Yesterday’s message was to forget about yesterday and not worry about the future so much. She said “all you have is RIGHT NOW.” Simple enough, but I needed to hear it from someone else, especially with everything coming up.
Today’s yoga speech was about challenging yourself in everything you do. You could approach it like “whatever, I’ve done this before” or you can find something NEW by challenging yourself and working harder in the otherwise ordinary moments. You have to work hard for what you want… if you just sit back wishing, it will never happen.
I walked out of the studio as a yoga noodle and met the pilot for brunch.
Same wrap as yesterday + hummus.
The girl decided to press it with the panini press.
I wanted to kiss her 🙂
It was GLORIOUS.
Veggies, goat cheese, hummus and kalamata olives on a whole wheat wrap.
Warm and melty…
No words, only foodgasms 🙂 Would this be considered a crack wrap??
(The pilot had crab cake hollandaise and bacon from a diner—I was tacky and brought my food with me so we could dine on the patio together)
On the way home, we stopped at Fresh Market and Whole Paycheck.
Shared these veggies chips:
I just picked up Bella from funny quotes lady’s house (a client), grabbed groceries from Wizzle, along with THIS:
A little late to get on the bandwagon, but I’m excited 🙂 Have you read these books???
Off to Longhorn for salmon salad and then movie time- Inception.
See ya in the morning!
xoxo,
Gina
Upcoming:
–Green-a-colada recipe
-A post on how to create a workout schedule
Those messages from your yoga class are awesome. It’s great to hear stuff like that every once in a while to give us something to think about and work on.
Mmm melted goat cheese. I need to incorporate that into my lunch somehow today! 😀
I think all wraps are 200 times better when either grilled or pressed like a panini. What did you think of Inception? I saw it on Saturday and I LOVED it.
it was AWESOME. i stayed awake, which says a lot haha
That wrap looks delicious. I have never read those books but I will be interested to know how they are!
i did my first turbo fire this morning! it was so fun!! i have to say it took me a while to get the moves down, that last circut I was a bit lost haha but I have a feeling I will get better at it! its SO SO SO different from insanity but I still love it 🙂
I LOVE pressed warm wraps like that! deeelicious!
Oh! I just saw the movie of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and now want to read the books! Looking forward to hearing what you think of them! I’m putting the series on my list for August!
The book is AMAZING! You’re going to love it!!!
love your shirt! my dad is reading those books, he just started. I haven’t read them, but probably will when he’s done!
Ooooh, I’m on the third book, they are so addicting!! I ended up reading the whole second half of the first one pretty much all day on a lazy Sunday:)
I absolutely loved that book! I took a lazy Saturday to read almost the entire book (480) pages! It was awesome and the best way to spend a relaxing Saturday.
Excellent book series. Unfortunately the author is deceased. They were great summer reads!
Great Books!
I’m almost done with the third book, and can’t put it down.
It was a little difficult getting all the Swedish names and towns down, but the story line is addicting.
I saw Inception the night it opened since the BF was going on and on about it and we *had* to see it that night. It was pretty awesome but then reminded me of all the weird dreams I used to have. There was one where it was a dream within a dream. I dreamed I was pregnant and freaked out but BF said it would be okay and that we’d keep the baby. Then I woke up, felt my stomach (not pregnant) and went back to bed. But then I was in another dream where I was being chased by some people. I woke up from that dream and realized I had two dreams within one–crazy!
Oh and I noticed that you’re having Vita Coco as opposed to your regular O.N.E. How do you like it compared to your regular? That’s the only kind I can find in my small town area (only they carry every flavour but the regular coconut one). Next time I’m in the city I’ll have to check out O.N.E.
that’s so crazy!
vita coco was the only brand the store carried. i like it, but i like o.n.e the best 🙂
