Give me three

Hi friends <3 Hope youโ€™ve had a lovely day.

Mine was a DOOZY. We had service training at the resort, so I learned about our level of guest service and other knowledge tidbits today. I really enjoyed the class, but itโ€™s so hard for me to sit still for 8 hours.

The good news is that the trainer encouraged us to get up and stretch when we needed to, they provided coffee, bagels, healthy cookies and macaroons (which were to diiiiiieeeee for, but mine win) and brought toys for us to play with.

I had the green play doh:

photo (80)

and made the most awesome [ghetto] snowman.

Recent eats and treats:

Smooooothie

smoothie

(I took a before picture since Iโ€™ve been posting the same smoothie for the past 3 days.. itโ€™s so good though)

Lunch + snacks

lunch

-organic grapes, blueberries and a plumble jumble

-quinoa crisps with PB and cinnamon

-a teff tortilla with a crumbled Sunshine burger, ketchup and Dijon

I also enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and two macaroons at work.. they were perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

Salmon bites:

bites

Love. [You can find those beauties in the freezer section of many health food stores]

So during our training today, we had to write down 3 things that make us โ€œus.โ€

I didnโ€™t think theyโ€™d be read to the class (of course they were) and that everyone would have to guess who wrote what, but here are my three:

1. Passionate about health and fitness

2. A good friend and

3. Goal-oriented

It was definitely hard to pick 3 things — I could have picked girly, caring, organized, etc. (one of my friends wrote โ€œlegitโ€ haha) but those are the 3 I rolled with ๐Ÿ˜€

What would your 3 things be? I always like to hear more about all of you ๐Ÿ˜€

Iโ€™m going to let me brain unscramble and then head to Zumba ๐Ÿ˜‰
See ya in the morning with a Readerโ€™s Request post!

xoxo

Gina

  25. Laura Jane @ Recovering Chocoholic on June 21, 2011 at 9:46 pm

    The sitting still for 8 hours seems to be the bane of my existence! I’ve been working as an engineer at my “real job” for four years since graduating college, and I still cannot seem to get used to the whole sitting for 8 hours part. It’s all I can do sometimes not to fall asleep. It really doesn’t even matter how busy I am or how interesting the stuff I’m working on is. I just need to move!!! The three questions is really tough. Mine would probably be;
    1) Devoted Christian
    2) People-Pleaser and easy going
    3) Love to bake and organize

  26. Jessica on June 21, 2011 at 9:48 pm

  27. Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga on June 21, 2011 at 9:51 pm

Ok 8 hours of anything!! would drive me nuts..and just sitting there. Ugh. And being pregnant and sitting there.. Double whammy. I will say that the older I get, the more I must have ADD or something. I just need to be moving or busy or something or I get ants in my pants ๐Ÿ™‚

3 things that make me me?
    authentic/genuine/real
give 110% to everything I do
    brain never shuts off

    Hi Gina,

I have not been able to find frozen cherries anywhere. I found mixed berries, but I keep looking for the straight cherries. I have tried Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

    Where do you get them?

    Thanks.

Well mine have changed since living in a natural disaster zone for EIGHT MONTHS now. I’m re-evaluating everything I thought about myself and realised I just can’t pick three things right now.. maybe.. insane, tougher than I thought and… more fragile than I thought (?).

Does anyone know if there is a site for downloading PiYo workouts? It sounds right up my alley and like something I would do naturally anyway (I seriously love to Vinyasa to trance music).
