The Healthy in Real Life podcast is HERE!
Hi friends! Iโm writing with some exciting news today because the Healthy In Real Life podcast is up and rolling. You can listen on iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.
Iโve considered doing a podcast for a couple of years now. The only thing really holding me back was the tech aspect, but once I decided I was going for it, a few online tutorials later and it wasnโt that bad. (If youโre considering getting into the podcasting world, I highly recommend Pat Flynnโs videos!)
Voice has such an incredible power. You can get so much from text on a screen and from video, but I feel like, with podcasts and audio content, it feels like youโre having coffee with a friend. Thatโs exactly what I wanted with all of you! Itโs another way for us to connect and another way for me to share content with you, especially through expert interviews.
The first two episodes are now live and you can subscribe through iTunes,ย Stitcher, andย Google Play.ย You can also check out all of the episodes under the โpodcastโ menu option on the blog (top right of the menu bar). The first one is a short intro episode about my history with health and fitness, in addition to some plans for the podcast. The second episode is an interview with my good friend Jess. She has SO MUCH health and fitness knowledge to share, so I was excited to record some thoughts on postpartum fitness, diastasis recti, and her upcoming movement and Pilates festival, Momentum Fest. (If youโre in Denver this weekend, be sure to check it out!)
I have SO MANY IDEAS for the podcast and canโt wait to continue to share them with you! If you have any feedback or requests for upcoming episodes, please let me know!
If you would subscribe and rate the podcast so more people can see it, Iโd appreciate your help so much.

I would enjoy reverse interviews where one of the listeners gets to ask YOU questions. *****
I know you’ve talked about it on the blog but I would love to hear in depth about moving from restricted eating to strict types of eating to food freedom!
*****SOOO excited you’re doing this!
I subscribed to this magnificence!
Rated it as well. ๐
Would love some tips to squeaking in a quick work out when you are just plain worn out and for those of us that have been out of the exercise game for a while and want to start again but need some encouragement on where to start. Also, homework outs vs gym workouts? What do you think is best and how can we get results from both?
I subscribed! So good
I would love to hear how to get motivated if you are in a slump!

A post on macros would be amazing!
I would love to have a body positivity episode(s) on the podcast. Maybe recommendations on how to find a body positive trainer/gym? How to make your lessons more body positive as a trainer?
Subscribed to the podcast (did it BEFORE reading this post, but hey if I can win something too I’m down!)
I would love to hear how you balance life and a healthy lifestyle.
Subscribed! Love having new podcasts to listen to.
Rated. Best wishes!
I’d like to hear about how to split up different types of workouts throughout the week in order to get the most out of them. I’m a busy, working mom of 2 young boys. I’ll be lucky to get in 3 30-minute at-home workouts per week. How can I get the most out of these workouts to give my body what it needs?
I’d love a podcast on quick, high-intensity workouts for busy schedules.
I’ve subscribed to the podcast – can’t wait to listen!
I would love to hear about strength training for running improvement.
I subscribed and enjoyed the first episode!**
Love that you started a podcast – I listened to your intro episode while walking my pups today. ??
Subscribed to your podcast!
I’m so excited for the podcast in general but especially to listen to Jessica Valant’s episode. I had DR with my first pregnancy and got pregnant again while still at a 4 finger width so I’m all ears about what I can do when this baby is born. I subscribed to your podcast on iTunes, I have the day off tomorrow (toddler free!!) and can’t wait to take a long walk and listen. I’d love to hear an episode about maintaining positive body image in front of children.
Subscribed to podcast!
Would love a podcast on how you manage your daily routine with your significant other is away. ๐
I subscribe!!
I rated and reviewed!
I’d like to hear you just talk about everyday life!!
Iโm subscribed and really excited to listen! Thanks!
I’d like to hear your thoughts/ideas on introducing very beginner workouts to children. Not necessarily weightlifting, but getting them interested in an active, healthy lifestyle.
One topic I would like to see on the podcast is mindfulness and stress management strategies. I’ve found that my health journey has been so much better since lowering my stress levels, but it is definitely something I still struggle with.
Subscribed!
Congratulations!*****
I’d love to hear meal planning tips – like when you do the posts about cooking for an hour and having X meals for the week.
I subscribed to the podcast!

Congrats on the podcast!

Meal planning tips and balancing a healthy lifestyle. Tips to get kids to eat veggies!!
I subscribed to the podcast! (thru google)
I’m most interested in losing weight, baby weight specifically… and also modified exercises. I find exercising to be really difficult due to leg issues that leave me unable to squat.
A few episodes might be good on motherhood balance, time management, healthy fitness and recovery after an injury or postpartum, etc. Thanks! = )
I am looking forward to listening! I have started the first episode about 3 times but have been so busy! *****
