The Healthy in Real Life podcast is HERE!
Hi friends! Iโm writing with some exciting news today because the Healthy In Real Life podcast is up and rolling. You can listen on iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.
Iโve considered doing a podcast for a couple of years now. The only thing really holding me back was the tech aspect, but once I decided I was going for it, a few online tutorials later and it wasnโt that bad. (If youโre considering getting into the podcasting world, I highly recommend Pat Flynnโs videos!)
Voice has such an incredible power. You can get so much from text on a screen and from video, but I feel like, with podcasts and audio content, it feels like youโre having coffee with a friend. Thatโs exactly what I wanted with all of you! Itโs another way for us to connect and another way for me to share content with you, especially through expert interviews.
The first two episodes are now live and you can subscribe through iTunes,ย Stitcher, andย Google Play.ย You can also check out all of the episodes under the โpodcastโ menu option on the blog (top right of the menu bar). The first one is a short intro episode about my history with health and fitness, in addition to some plans for the podcast. The second episode is an interview with my good friend Jess. She has SO MUCH health and fitness knowledge to share, so I was excited to record some thoughts on postpartum fitness, diastasis recti, and her upcoming movement and Pilates festival, Momentum Fest. (If youโre in Denver this weekend, be sure to check it out!)
I have SO MANY IDEAS for the podcast and canโt wait to continue to share them with you! If you have any feedback or requests for upcoming episodes, please let me know!
If you would subscribe and rate the podcast so more people can see it, Iโd appreciate your help so much.

Congratulations on the podcast! I cannot wait to listen. I would be interested in hearing about how to balance healthy living with life. Also advice on trying different forms of fitness. I tend to be a creature of habit and gravitate towards what I know. Even though I am curious about different formats fear of the unknown keeps me from trying them.
And rated and reviewed ๐
And reviewed! Great first 2!
I also would like to hear about getting your kids to eat healthy. We need some new tips and tricks around my house.******
***** First, I’ve been reading your blog for years! I love it and respect and admire you so much. One thing I’d love to hear about is how you and the pilot make it work (coordination, sacrifices etc.) considering his schedule/career can be fairly demanding/inflexible/tumultuous. Y’all seem to have a lovely rhythm and respect for one another so I don’t mean that critically. ๐ More that I recognize you two have a great partnership.
Iโd love to hear about how to deal with injuries as youโre ****trying***** to get into shape… I was doing so well with running but sprained ankles last year, then muscle imbalance (too much calf muscle involvement post physio) stopped me this year. Itโs very discouraging ๐ thanks!
So excited about the podcast!! Iโve subscribed and canโt wait to listen!!
I would love to hear about tips for staying active while working an 8-5 job that requires sitting at a desk all day! *****
Congrats on the launch of your podcast! Iโd love to hear information on getting back into the fitness/healthy eating game after a break, pregnancies (I completely let myself go). Etc.
I also just rated and reviewed the podcast****! So excited about this podcast!
I listened to your podcasts during my run this morning! Loved them! Iโd love to hear more about pre and post-natal fitness. As we are โtryingโ itโs on my mind a lot!
Congrats on your launch! *****
Iโd also love to hear more about curbing sugar cravings please!!! *****
I second this topic!!
Congraturlations on the debut of your podcast! I would love to hear more about all the different places you have lived in, how you are able to adapt and assimilate so quickly and what your favorite fitness activities, gyms, yoga places, restaurants etc are in the places you’ve lived.

I would love to hear some strategies about balancing a social life and eating healthy – since a lot of my social activities (and work stuff – why is entertaining clients always food/drinks?!?) involve food/drinks I would love some tips on how to keep it in check while not being a hermit! Iโve been able to talk a few friends into meeting for a workout class rather than a drink – but would love to hear some ways to not derail progress at these types of things****. So excited. About the podcast!!!
The second episoide was so great. I’m in my first pregnancy and it’s helpful to know to wait a bit before going full force back into my old routine after the babies come. One idea for a podcast may be one about promoting healthy sleep. I feel like it’s a problem a lot of people struggle with.
Iโd love to hear more about balancing mom life and personal fitness. So excited to listen to your podcast!
