The Healthy in Real Life podcast is HERE!
Hi friends! Iโm writing with some exciting news today because the Healthy In Real Life podcast is up and rolling. You can listen on iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.
Iโve considered doing a podcast for a couple of years now. The only thing really holding me back was the tech aspect, but once I decided I was going for it, a few online tutorials later and it wasnโt that bad. (If youโre considering getting into the podcasting world, I highly recommend Pat Flynnโs videos!)
Voice has such an incredible power. You can get so much from text on a screen and from video, but I feel like, with podcasts and audio content, it feels like youโre having coffee with a friend. Thatโs exactly what I wanted with all of you! Itโs another way for us to connect and another way for me to share content with you, especially through expert interviews.
The first two episodes are now live and you can subscribe through iTunes,ย Stitcher, andย Google Play.ย You can also check out all of the episodes under the โpodcastโ menu option on the blog (top right of the menu bar). The first one is a short intro episode about my history with health and fitness, in addition to some plans for the podcast. The second episode is an interview with my good friend Jess. She has SO MUCH health and fitness knowledge to share, so I was excited to record some thoughts on postpartum fitness, diastasis recti, and her upcoming movement and Pilates festival, Momentum Fest. (If youโre in Denver this weekend, be sure to check it out!)
I have SO MANY IDEAS for the podcast and canโt wait to continue to share them with you! If you have any feedback or requests for upcoming episodes, please let me know!
If you would subscribe and rate the podcast so more people can see it, Iโd appreciate your help so much.
To celebrate, how about a little Blogiversary giveaway from me to you?

I would love to hear about different ways of eating…I know you used to be vegan and also completely gluten free and I am currently mostly plant based but have been eating eggs every once in a while and I feel guilty. How did you find a way to eat what makes you feel good on the inside while not having guilt creep in if it doesnโt fit what you โthinkโ you should be eating?
Iโd love to hear ideas on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle with kids – I have a toddler and another one on the way, plus I work full time -suggestions would be appreciated!
Also reviewed the podcast!
I’m now subscribed to your podcast!
I also subscribed to the podcast:)
Iโd love to hear about ways your guests care for themselves. Little things – products they love, skincare, great classes they take, funny shows on Netflix I donโt know about. Iโd also love to hear about career paths and how they got where they are.
Also, so glad youโre doing this! Iโve been reading so long I canโt remember when I started, and the number of blogs I read continues to dwindle as I get older and busier. Yours continues to be a must for me because you just seem so genuine. Iโm excited to add your podcast into the rotation, and I hope we get a chance to meet IRL someday.
I’d love to hear about mindful living-not necessarily sitting and meditating, but how to incorporate in our busy lives.
I would like to hear about work/life balance.
Iโd love to hear your thoughts on the โnecessityโ for a gym membership. I feel like I canโt get as good of a workout at home, but the cost can be frustrating.
Congrats on the podcast-subscribed through iTunes.
Wow! What a giveaway!!! I’d love to hear your life’s highs and lows! You’ve obviously thrived and I’d think it be an inspiration to all!
I subscribed to the podcast.
Id love to hear about you talk about embracing and dealing with the unknown and uncertainty in life (moving with the Pilot’s job, etc.)
I can’t wait to listen. I would like to hear more about balancing fitness with a kids especially a baby.
I would love to hear more about how nutrition and fitness change as we age, our lifestyle changes, etc. What are the most important things to consider for health during our 20s, 30s, 40s, and beyond? Thanks for starting the podcast! I cannot wait to learn more from you and your guests! ๐ *****

I am SO excited for your podcast! Iโm going to sign up right now. I would love to hear meal planning ideas (especially for a family of 4 with 2 toddlers), motherhood advice and how you balance it all (fitness/health/motherhood). I have a 1 and 3 year old so life is pretty crazy right now! You are such an inspiration and I am looking forward to all you have to share on your podcast. I also have been thinking about those daily harvest smoothies and would love to win some ๐ ******
Hey Gina! Congratulations on the podcast! So amazing! Would love to hear more about real life and your beauty family. *****

Iโd love to see a podcast on balancing health/nutrition without becoming excessive!
Id love to see a joint podcast with you and the pilot discussing marriage hacks!
I subscribed and listened to the first podcast this morning! You wrote a post once on mom-hacks, and I’d like to see a podcast about that: shortcuts in the kitchen for quick, healthy meals; fitting in short, effective workouts; getting your family more involved in health and good nutrition without tons of struggle and drama, etc.
I would love to hear regular podcasts on listener questions and maybe a monthly favorite (and not favorite) things ๐
Also podcast on fitness business, blogging, entrepeneurship would all be awesome!
I’d love to hear some tips and tricks for how to overcome snacking mindlessly on the couch after a long day – that’s my downfall! Excited to give the podcast a listen.
Congrats Gina on launching the podcast! I’m subscribed and excited to hear about squeezing in fitness when you have a crazy busy day.
You seem so motivated in all areas of life, even when your life circumstances change frequently. I’d love to hear more about how you have developed your positive outlook and how you set goals, even when your life circumstances change (sometimes without your consent, I’m sure). I am personally working on trying to accept life’s changes with more grace and flexibility instead of needing a Type A plan for everything…you seem so adaptable and resilient while still achieving a lot, and I think it would be fascinating to hear more about your internal thought process around goal setting.
I would love to hear how you balance parenting and time for yourself.

I’d like to hear about your workout split and when to change it up!
I would love for you to discuss the affect of hormones on your weight as you age.

Subscribed to the pod! Can’t wait to listen, the first ep. looks perfect for me. (I’m 5 months postpartum and working with a pelvic floor physiotherapist.)

Would love to hear more details about how you plan to teach group fitness classes, specifically do you plan out every move every minute, write it out? Or mostly wing it? Does winging it come with experience? (Iโm new to teaching )
